[--Times like these make Koumei wonder if he should, perhaps, find a better place to take a nap. Hair a disheveled mess of knots and curls, button up shirt disarrayed, and an owlish look in his eyes, Koumei poked his head out in the hallway...

Mister Mutsunokami. It seems we have a hailstorm inside the building.

[Nevermind that these were obviously beads. Koumei held his feathered fan over his head, as if to protect himself, as he stooped to gingerly pick one up.


This seemed to be a trick from the Company. The tiny little bead could very well explode.]

( Mutsu's holding the top of his head because that sure was a large jar of beads that hit him as soon as he walked in through the door. Give him a second to collect himself (unlike all of these beads on the floor). )

Who's idea was this?

[Koumei leaned up against a wall nearby and watched with interest, rolling around the little bead between his fingers while Mutsu tried to make sense of this.]

I would suggest a bored Kogitsunemaru, but this seems a little elaborate for him.

...and particular. There are many more interesting munitions besides simple beads.

[He held the bead out for Mutsu, if he wanted to take it.]

( There's a jar rolling around on the floor and it probably has Mutsu's name on it or somethign so everyone can know it's his. Cerealia... out to get him in trouble. )

Nah, they're... they're from a mission back home... we had to collect 'em....

[Koumei reached for the jar and started dropping the beads inside one by one, each piece clattering against the glass as it fell in.]

To what end? Are they made of precious metals, or have some bartering value?
