What: It started with a goat. Then it all just went downhill from there. AKA Rise Kujikawa and the mysterious memories event.

[It started with a goat. Honestly, at first she thought that she'd dreamed it, that maybe it was just an extension of the white feathers she saw in her dreams recently but no. She wakes up and there sure is a wispy little goat at the foot of her bed. She stares…and the goat bleats flatly at her. It's a sad-looking thing, but as she tries to get closer it seems to disappear immediately.

Wow. That's weird.]

A.) is for Academy

[It's a normal school day. With everyone back from the dead and her worries a little more at ease, she can concentrate a little easier. It's quiet in the Study Hall period of the day and she's working on some homework when she spots the goat out of the corner of her eye…approaching a wastebasket. She hasn't realized it can't change much of the world around them, but she'll get that memo as soon as she gets up and stealthily tries to approach the animal.

Of course, the goat suddenly moves and it startles her and her arms suddenly pinwheel as she yells, trying to balance on her high heels so she doesn't bite the dust. Are you going to catch her? Let her fall? Fall with her? Sorry about all of that.]

B.) is for Bad Places Rise Shouldn't Wander

[This goat is seriously way more trouble than it's worth. She's not sure where it came from or why it's in such poor condition, but she's taken to following it around the colony to make sure it doesn't get too far out of her sight. It's for that reason she doesn't even realize she winds up right in the middle of the Pleasure District. The goat's paused, and if it's possible it gives her a knowing look despite its lack of real expression.

(Is it possible that this goat knows about her dungeon?)

She ends up in a staring contest with the goat, narrowing her eyes when she realizes she's standing in front of a love hotel.]

Don't even think about it. [She sure was talking to the goat, but it's not that hard to overhear her.]

C.) is for Cafe

[Everything is exhausting. She's sprawled over a chair almost ungracefully and that goat hovers around near her feet, but at least its not moving. On occasion, she'll be writing neat lines in a notebook and sipping her tea, though she frowning in concentration. There's an extra chair at her table though. Feel free to ask if you can join her or even be nosy about what she's doing, she won't mind.

On the other hand, if you're a friend or even someone she recognizes, she'll look up and smile brightly before pushing the chair out with her foot.]

D.) is for Dancing Games

[Sometimes Rise likes to play games. Sometimes Rise likes to use the game station to practice and when she gets bored of dancing in her room this is the next best thing. However, she's found at the game center today in front of one of the dancing games, and as she watches the colorful arrows fall across the screen she's continually missing and whines in frustration.]

Ugh, come on! This should be really easy! [And it would be…if she actually remembered how to dance. It's like all memories and coordination have left her and she's left trying really hard to fix that. Help her? Challenge her? Question her?]

E.) is for Everything Else!

[If you want to run into her while she's out shopping, at work as a model/karaoke star/tofu connoisseur, or if housemates want to do apartment shenanigans here you go!]

[ Kyouko stays still, carefully watching the dove in her peripheral. She's already given up on trying to control it, but watching it try to approach others still sets her on edge. ]

I have not, but I probably should speak to him at some point. [ He probably knows about a lot of what goes on in some of the districts, things she doesn't know. ]

I've been here a little over six months now, I believe. [ Or was it seven months? She's already starting to lose track of time, which is unusual for her. ]

[The goat continues to approach and Rise grins instead.] He's not hard to find. Flynn Scifo. You can probably find him just by looking at the CereVice. [Kyouko may be a little disappointed if Flynn doesn't know much, but Rise's still fond enough of the man to make such a suggestion.]

It's only been about three for me. I'm still getting used to everything but it's getting a little easier every day. I usually stick to the shopping district or the entertainment district for work. [By now her goat's close enough that if Kyouko takes a step in any direction, she'll run right into it.] That and Yu-senpai tells me about things in the colony anyway.

[ Kyouko shifts on one foot, edging herself closer to the goat. ]

You know Narukami-kun too? [ She's not really surprised, though. Yu seems like the type to have a lot of friends. ]

[She seems to light up the moment Kyouko confirms she knows Yu, nodding enough that her twintails bob in time with her head.]

Yeah! We're from the same world and we went to school together last year before he had to return to the city and I went back to work. [And she gives her another smile.] It doesn't surprise me that he has even more friends here than I thought.

[So yeah. Her assessment about him is right, and Rise's about to continue but with Kyouko moving, all she does is startle the goat enough that it moves and passes right through her legs to get to the other side of Rise.

The world falls away for a moment until they're no longer in front of a love hotel. Instead, it's the interior of Marukyu Tofu and Rise's behind the counter in her white apron and head bandana. In front of her are two men both in suits and ties, though the man with the scruffy facial hair appears to have his jacket draped over his shoulder. She's calm with them in her store, apparently not seeing them as a threat and she even smiles lightly.

"Thank you. Your receipt's in the bag."

As the conversation goes on, it becomes clear that the younger detective, Adachi, isn't quite as serious or confident as Dojima. The older man seems to be serious about the case at hand.

"I don't mean to alarm you, but…you do have some things in common with the recent victims. That's why, well…"

Rise shrugs slightly. "I might be kidnapped, right? I've been told that before. Don't worry, I'll be careful."

"Huh…? Someone told you already?" Adachi appears surprised as though he can't imagine somebody else giving her a warning beforehand.

"It was three guys… They were wearing uniforms, so I think they were high school students…" She smiles faintly at the memory of Yu, Yosuke and Kanji's visit earlier that afternoon, though Dojima doesn't seem pleased.

"Did one of them happen to look… How do I put it… Did he look something like a gang member?"

"Wait… You think she's talking about your nephew and his friends?" Adachi continues, but Dojima ignores him, thanking Rise and walking away. She watches as the two men head for the front of the shop, but she's learned an important lesson in her life. Idols have to be good listeners. Though she goes about her business, she's careful to eavesdrop on the two detectives.

" ……Something smells here. The recent disappearances… Between those and the two homicides, there's too many questions with no answers. To tell the truth, I followed my detective's intuition and came here to warn her. How could high school kids who know less than we do beat us to the punch…? Were they just making up an excuse to talk to a famous celebrity…? Or…"

"Sir…?"

"Yasogami High…" Dojima continues as he rolls over Adachi's words. "The second victim, Saki Konishi, and two other students who were missing for a while…"

"I guess the investigation of the ones involved with the school hasn't turned up anything either…aren't we gonna be in trouble if this keeps up? The prefectural police will be coming soon to--"

"They're the least of your worries!" Dojima snaps. "Keep your head in the game." With that, the two of them exit the tofu shop, Rise listens to them walk out, and the memory fades completely.]

[ Once the memory fades, Kyouko's quiet, falling into a contemplative silence. She recognizes one of the cops from Yu's memory—Adachi. It's strange seeing him in a different situation, and knowing that he was the culprit from the beginning, she watches the memory with that hindsight.

For someone who eventually got caught by a group of teenagers, Adachi was putting up a good front. ]

Hmmm... he had a good cover, being a police officer. [ She assumes Rise knows who the culprit was, how could she not? Not if she's Yu's friend, who helped uncover the truth. ]

[It's probably for the best that the memory doesn't leave Rise too dizzy and sick to respond. She stumbles a bit in place as the world spins around her, but she's able to power through it and stare at Kyouko for a moment to try and process all of that.

Of course, there's only one person she could be talking about.]

...you saw Adachi-san, huh? [The -san sounds like she's grudgingly attaching it, but you know.] He fooled so many people for so long.

[ She waits for Rise to reorient herself, crossing her arms as she still digests the memory. ]

Yes, I did. He was very different than in Narukami-kun's memory. I can see how he fooled so many.

[It's a slow process but she can do that. It's more the fact that Kyouko's bringing up Yu that gets her to focus and she looks at her with wide eyes.]

When I first met him, I never would have thought he'd be the way he was...what kind of memory did you see from Yu-senpai?

He and Adachi were talking about the fact that he was the one behind everything.

[ And anything else, Kyouko's not sure if she would mention. It's not like she knows exactly what they were talking about anyway, since she didn't know all the details. ]

[Oh.]

...he was definitely behind the murders, yeah. [Okay well Rise can just go ahead and say it, why the hell not. That's totally fine.] We wouldn't have ever known if we didn't stop to think about it longer. He had everybody fooled...and he didn't even care about what happened. That's the thing that still makes me so mad! [She pauses though to smile a bit.] But he's where he belongs now.

He didn't care...? [ The culprit not caring is something she can relate to, easily. ]

Ah, still...I'm glad you were able to catch him.

It's really mostly thanks to Yu-senpai. [Kyouko do you hear this admiration...] He's the one who brought up the fact that something wasn't adding up. We almost accused the wrong person.

[A pause.] You never told me how you know him anyway.

How I know Narukami-kun? He and I share the same proclivity for investigation. We got to know one another over that.

Makes sense. Yu-senpai's always been the one who pushed us forward and wanted to keep solving the mysteries back home even when people tried to tell us to back off. It's just nice that there are other people he has that in common with. [She looks back at the hotel almost thoughtfully, solely for somewhere else to look.]

...you're not alone in this world, are you?

No. I have two classmates here... Kuwata-kun and Togami-kun. I used to have more, but they left a while ago.

[ Which she's still recovering from. ]

Oh! [Her expression lights up suddenly and she claps her hands together. Sorry, Kyouko, her enthusiasm's in full swing.] You must be Kirigiri-san! Leon's told me about you. It's nice to officially meet you...even if it's here. He told me there used to be a few more of you here, too...it's hard when they leave, isn't it?

[ She really isn't used to a lot of enthusiasm, but at least she isn't put off by it. ]

Has he...? [ Well, they are good friends, so of course he'd mention her. ] It is hard, but that's the nature of places like this, unfortunately.

Yeah. We have a detective in our group of friends, too. He's talked about you and Togami-san a couple of times before. [Her enthusiasm withers just a tiny bit.] A couple of members of our team have come and gone from here, too. But they can't be too far you know? That's what I just have to think about.

I agree. If they managed to come here in the first place, there's always a possibility that they'll be back.
