What: Two (very old) swords have a very big announcement!

[ It took awhile for Mikazuki to have gathered everyone he wanted to for this. Some of the invites were the tachi going to meet up in person to invite them, others were video or phone chats if he couldn't track them down -- REGARDLESS! He's gathered everyone on the first floor of Sworhaus...kind of jam packed everyone in the living room as much as he was able to. It's a little close for comfort but he just needs everyone to sit still for a little while before he drops the Big News. ]
Ah, where do I start? [ He's a little nervous at first but then in true Mikazuki fashion, he happily drops the news! ]
So, as some of you might have noticed, Kogitsunemaru and I recently acquired a pair of matching rings! As some of you may have also noticed...their placement on our left hands was...intentional. Ahaha, when I invited you all here to share the news of our...engagement, I suppose that's our way of inviting everyone to our future fox wedding in the first place.
[ There should probably be Formal invites but Mikazuki will get to that later...after all that is said and done anyway, he'll allow everyone to mingle at their leisure whether with each other or with him and Kogitsunemaru for questions or congratulations or what have you. ]
[ BUT FIRST! Mikazuki darts over to two very specific people...pardoning himself for the abruptness of it but takes their hands and leads them a little away from the others. He'll thank them for coming and he hopes that they'll both indulge this old man as he asks them for help... ]
Kashuu-kun, Lili...I was wondering if both of you would be able to help...ah...plan it? Aha, Kogi and I aren't the type to really do all of this ourselves and we discussed it already and agreed that others might be more suited to the planning part.
[ He's actually lacking his usual Jiji Charm™, seeming more apprehensive than anything. He almost wants to ask if any of this seems silly or strange for sword spirits to be doing something like this but the question is left in the back of his mind. It may be obvious that he's nervous however with the way he squeezes both Lili and Kashuu's hands... ]

[ If anything, getting Kashuu's approval would only make Kogi and Mikazuki happier, especially as they designed the ring together.
A gold band on the appropriate finger with three crests: his own, Mikazuki's, and the one of Sanjo Munechika himself. Each are quite distinct, in a slightly different color compared to the actual loop. ]
We thought it would be best to keep it simple and memorable... for the both of us. What do you think?

[ Because as old as Mikazuki acts, it's the important things--- life or death, tofu or tofu, pancake or waffle--- that he can trust the Jijii with. It's obvious that he has more than faith in the other Sanjo, otherwise why would they decide to tie the knot like this? ]

Yeah, it was pretty surprising! I mean, it's totally no surprise at all that you two have a thing for each other. [A CHEEKY PUNK GRIN.] It's just the marriage part that I wasn't expecting.
[Mostly because it's a Very Human Thing and not even Kashuu has ever considered the possibility of getting married before.]

Well, I am glad it wasn't a secret. We have tried to be as casual as possible, as we do find a greater peace in each other's presence compared to others.

True. It is something we've learned from our masters and from the ones around us here. Still, eating and sleeping are for survival. Marriage isn't necessarily for it, but it certainly makes the both of us very happy.
[ Happiness can also make survival a little less that and more about enjoying the freedom and life they have now, even if it's unusual. ]
Of course. We will go the whole way. It'll be beautiful, a time of celebration for all of us. After all, while it may be for me and Mikazuki, it is a display of our kinship as a family.

But the explanation is honestly adorable and gets Kashuu right in his tender kokoro. HE'S TOUCHED... What the heck!! He knows the grandpa sanjous can all be ridiculously sentimental sometimes, especially for swords, but things like this still manage to take him by surprise. He's even a little flustered!]
Yeah, well— I'm glad to be around for it, too! I mean, if it's something as important as a wedding, there's no way I'd miss it.
[Now he's just asking to be whisked away by CERES before he gets a chance to participate BUT HE REFUSES. He's gotta be here to see them tie the knot!!]

Cute? Ahaha, I suppose so! I just think we've all been tested by fire. Technology, elementals, aliens... we bond every day. Having a dojo has increased that as well, right? A family business.

[ They've lost comrades since the assorted items were found, so it makes sense to add a few tokens from the ones who left shortly after it. He can easily think of some things to put onto the mini-shrine as well as transporting them wherever they decide to have their ceremony and celebrations.
They deserve to be a part of them, too. Kashuu's unbelievably considerate. ]
It would have been nice to have Ishikirimaru join Kousetsu, and for Iwatooshi to help us out. No one is stronger than him, it seems. Even Doudanuki's scrappy nature can't compare, but...
[ He looks down at his cup for a moment, hoping for an answer from the room temperature drink but there is nothing other than a very faint shimmer from the light. There are none, but he certainly has other thoughts to sort out. ]
... mm. Yes. I hope you'll also help out with things, like planning. I believe Mikazuki has a few assistants in mind, as we're not so great at that aspect either. Haha, please let us know if you have too many obligations outside of our little event!

[Which he says with more passivity than anything, even though the topic honestly leaves him feeling a little melancholy. He's a social creature, of course, and his comrades are all very dear to him. Not knowing where they go now that the altar has been destroyed weighs on him too heavily, if he lets it.
The more Kogitsunemaru talks about nostalgic things, the heavier that weight gets, too, until he briefly has to look away. There will surely be a time to mourn for the missing later, and he can't worry for the ones who are still here yet.
At least wedding planning is a nice, relatively neutral topic.]
I don't have any plans or anything like that, so I'll be sure to dedicate as much time as you guys need, 'kay? Don't be afraid to lean on me for whatever! Whether it's planning or decorations or food, I'll totally help out.

[ He steals a peek at Mikazuki, who looks positively thrilled with the attention he's receiving. It brings him feelings of calm and contentment, seeing how happy he is. ]
