[ It took awhile for Mikazuki to have gathered everyone he wanted to for this. Some of the invites were the tachi going to meet up in person to invite them, others were video or phone chats if he couldn't track them down -- REGARDLESS! He's gathered everyone on the first floor of Sworhaus...kind of jam packed everyone in the living room as much as he was able to. It's a little close for comfort but he just needs everyone to sit still for a little while before he drops the Big News. ]

Ah, where do I start? [ He's a little nervous at first but then in true Mikazuki fashion, he happily drops the news! ]

So, as some of you might have noticed, Kogitsunemaru and I recently acquired a pair of matching rings! As some of you may have also noticed...their placement on our left hands was...intentional. Ahaha, when I invited you all here to share the news of our...engagement, I suppose that's our way of inviting everyone to our future fox wedding in the first place.

[ There should probably be Formal invites but Mikazuki will get to that later...after all that is said and done anyway, he'll allow everyone to mingle at their leisure whether with each other or with him and Kogitsunemaru for questions or congratulations or what have you. ]

CLOSED TO KASHUU AND LILI

[ BUT FIRST! Mikazuki darts over to two very specific people...pardoning himself for the abruptness of it but takes their hands and leads them a little away from the others. He'll thank them for coming and he hopes that they'll both indulge this old man as he asks them for help... ]

Kashuu-kun, Lili...I was wondering if both of you would be able to help...ah...plan it? Aha, Kogi and I aren't the type to really do all of this ourselves and we discussed it already and agreed that others might be more suited to the planning part.

[ He's actually lacking his usual Jiji Charm™, seeming more apprehensive than anything. He almost wants to ask if any of this seems silly or strange for sword spirits to be doing something like this but the question is left in the back of his mind. It may be obvious that he's nervous however with the way he squeezes both Lili and Kashuu's hands... ]

[Kashuu, if asked a question like that, would surely burst out with an immediate no way! because goodness, of course he would... Who wouldn't encourage something like this? It's great, isn't it? That two old swords have gotten so in touch with their human emotions that they're able to reach this sort of relationship.

As for wedding planning... HOO BOY. He just clasps his hand over Mikazuki's, practically sparkling.]

Yes, yes! Absolutely! You can totally count on us one hundred percent! Leave it to us, we'll make sure it's the most gorgeous wedding ever.

[...Just answering for Lili too, apparently?! SORRY LILI. He doesn't even look over at her to check, incredible.]

[THAT SURE IS HER OPPORTUNITY TO DECLINE FLYING OUT THE WINDOW - but also like. Why would she ever? She looks startled at the invitation so she's almost glad for Kashuu's immediate agreement on her behavior before she's lighting up herself, her hands clasping Mikazuki's in a similar gesture, squeezing in return.]

Certainly so!

It will be accomplished without fail - and it'll be absolutely perfect.

You have my sincerest thanks! [ Mikazuki's truly grateful to have such kind (and stylish) friends! He knows a thing or two about elegance and all of that but falls short when it comes to planning an actual wedding -- especially between two sword spirits? How will it all work?

He is teeming with questions but FOR NOW...he'll squeeze both their hands with a determined little nod. ]

I'll be in both of your care for this. I'll do my best to aid in planning but...well, where does one start with wedding planning exactly? [ Clothes? Flowers? Food??? ]

I.

[ Of course, Kogitsunemaru is standing right by Mikazuki as he announces their decision to become fox wedded. They spent quite some time deciding when was the best time to do so, and this ended up being the right one. Regardless, his happiness is bright as the sun itself--- it's hard to not see him beam at Mikazuki as he speaks. He even raises his left hand to show off the simple band, acting as a model of sorts to all of those in attendance.

As soon as Mikazuki is done speaking, he'll mosey on over to the kitchen space and pour out two cups of tea: one for him, the other for the one who spoke so eloquently for the both of them. His smile hasn't faltered in the slightest, in fact, it has grown even larger as he idly stares into the cup. ]

II.

[ But after some time (and a peck on the cheek to his Jijii), he'll make his way back to the second apartment where he has his shared room with the other fox sword. Kogi's not exactly the stealthiest spirit, but it's evident he needs a breather and the best place to do it is surrounded by random fox apparel--- plushes, pillows, blankets, all kinds of things.

He falls into the fox pile with an audible 'SQUEAK', eyes up at the ceiling. ]

[Though Koumei had received word to join the various swords and their friends in one of the other apartments under Haru's care, he's always felt his position amongst the battallion to be somewhat tenuous. He was neither a sword, nor a swordsman, and his country was quite different from this 'Japan' that they all hailed from.

Kou was more similar to Zihuan's Wu, more similar to the 'China' he saw written about in the books. There were nuances he simply did not understand because, culturally, it was different.

And then there was his other problem; the suspicious absense of his younger brother.

The rowdy young man's disappearance was obvious, but Koumei kept his words on the matter soft and subtle. His emotions were even more so.

Kogi's footsteps, and subsequent SQUEAK as he fell into his pile of fox accessories, was a more than welcome distraction.

Padding down the hall softly in his bare feet, Koumei pushed the door open and stood in the entry, quietly regarding the fox sword. After a few moments of watching, he spoke up.]

It seems congratulations are in order, Mister Kogi. You've my word that I will keep Mister Mikazuki as safe as I am able to, alongside of yourself, Naki, and the rest of the foxes.

[ He's slow to react at first, pondering the events of the day up to this moment. Kogi, on a cloud nine that is improved by the presence of many reminders of foxes, doesn't bother to look up or move. Granted, he IS tired from the socializing but for Koumei, he is happy to speak up given a second or two. ]

Mikazuki is as elegant as he is capable in battle. Though he may be a treasure of our world, he is one that could tear through the field with his true self and have no problem facing any enemy in our way.

[ And this is when he hoists himself up into a sitting position, giving Koumei a smile laced with pride. ]

If anything, he has saved me many times, including once here.

[ Kogi's expression falters slightly, but he shrugs as he refocuses on the other. ]

Thank you, Koumei. Your support has been a blessing. Not just to me, but to all of us. I am sure that Naki is also happy to have you here as well.

[Hopefully he's got a good grip on that coffee, because Kashuu is just gently elbowing him... HELLO.]

[ If anything, getting Kashuu's approval would only make Kogi and Mikazuki happier, especially as they designed the ring together.

A gold band on the appropriate finger with three crests: his own, Mikazuki's, and the one of Sanjo Munechika himself. Each are quite distinct, in a slightly different color compared to the actual loop. ]

We thought it would be best to keep it simple and memorable... for the both of us. What do you think?

[She's excited! Of course, it looks contained, but you can tell she's a bit too happy about this by the way her eyes sparkle.]

Congratulations, Kogitsunemaru! [Now that she managed to catch him after he spares some time.]

[ Ah... her eyes are so sparkly, hard to miss! Kogi's eyes are probably twinkling just like hers, so they can both shine together. ]

Haha, thank you. I'm glad that we could finally share this happy news during a time where nothing abnormal is happening.

[ He brings his cup up to his lips and takes a very polite sip. ]

... I think we're doing the right thing.

[That big announcement probably led to a lot of commotion...Naki('s fox) may have given congratulations with everyone else, but they'd eventually snuck back to the peace and quiet of their own apartment.

Shortly after Kogi falls back into the foxpile, he may see a moon-shaped object slowly closing in on his face from above.

Slow motion fox attaaaaaaccckkkk.........]

[ AAAA! IS THIS THE MOON FALLING ON KOGITSUNEMARU, JUST LIKE THAT ONE GAME HE'S SEEN? The one where a hero that mainly wears one color collects square pieces of power, the Foursquare?!

No, it's an orb that is also a fox. Much better than being squished to death by a moon, though if it was a fox-moon, he would gladly accept his fate right there.

The squishy-looking fox bounces off of his face and he sits up slowly. ]

Ah???

[ After a bit of mingling around, Mikazuki manages to break himself free of the interactions to instead interact with a certain little fox! He's grateful Kogi is preparing tea, he could use it after all the excitement of announcing everything begins to wear off. He's sure they could both use some relaxing, old fashioned tea.

He does his very best to sneak up on Kogi though almost immediately gives himself away by looping his arms happily around Kogi's torso. ] My, my. Someone certainly looks happy.

I wonder whatever could have made this fox smile so much?

[ It looks like the one he prepared the other cup of tea for is finally here and the little fox is thrilled to see him. Feeling Mikazuki's arms around his torso, he leans and looks back at the charming and endearing Jijii whose words certainly did the trick when it came to the announcement. ]

Hm! It's not what, but who has brightened my day considerably... and every day before, and hopefully every day after.

[ He gently moves the second drink over to the side, where Mikazuki could have easier access to it. ]

Your words certainly did the trick! Everyone looked so happy, but no one like me.

[ With a quick turn, he effortlessly switches it so that they could face each other. His smile, still radiating with the delighted warmth on his cheeks from earlier. ]

[ after the immediate crowd thins out a little bit, and kogi thinks he has a moment of breathing room... surprise! here is tsuru, pulling out a third cup and trying to slide it next to the other two as if it's always been there, as if to say pour him a cup too, please! ]

Kogi, Kogi! Congratulations!

[ which is pretty much what everyone else's been telling kogi so far, but that aside, he also has something else in mind — ]

I know it's a little early to ask, but can I be the one to throw the flower petals?

[ Aaaaah! His endearing crane, here to get a cup of tea as well? He's more than happy to pour some for Tsuru. ]

[ Because it wouldn't be a special announcement without the entire family being there, and Tsuru is almost doublefam. ]

Throw the flower petals? Of course, you may certainly do that. I also have another request for you, if you'd be so kind. Would you be okay making something for us?

( What Heisuke's actually come to the kitchen in search of is snacks, (and a few moments away from the bustle and crowd all smushed into the living room to congratulate isn't bad either,) but he doesn't much mind what he actually finds. )

Oh, you must be the lucky guy, huh! ( Wait, he's a sword too, right? Should probably be a bit more polite. ) Er, Kogitsunemaru-san.

[ Lucky for Heisuke that Kogitsunemaru is feeling a little peckish after the little announcement and is rummaging around for something to chew on. Thankfully, there's some cake in the refrigerator!

It's not his, but whatever. Mutsu won't mind. ]

[ His hairears flutter with cheerfulness, even if the kind-looking swordsman was only here coincidentally. ]

[Everyone's probably giving the happy couple their own congratulations. That Sayo, tiny and quiet sword he is, quietly makes his way over towards Mikazuki and wait. Wait until he can find an opening to give his own congratulations.

Is that an opening he see? He's going in!]

... Congratulation, Mikazuki-san.

► B: And then everyone else
[After chatting with Mikazuki, Sayo backs off to let everyone else have their turn. He goes back to where he was sitting earlier, watching the commotion almost thoughtfully.]

So we can get married...?

[The idea never occurs to him before, but seeing this makes him think.]

[You know who else is sitting back here? Naki, that's who. His fox might've climbed onto one of the happy couple in his excitement, so he's alone for the moment.

Sayo's question is a really good one, though.]

[What even is marriage, he's not sure?]

[Talking to Naki without the fox... This is going to be a riveting conversation. Since Sayo probably saw the fox earlier when he was waiting for his chance.]

... I wish they will have a happy marriage.

[Sayo have seen his own share of married couples. From happy ones to... Hosokawa. Granted, not anyone can be like Tadaoki and Gracia.]

[ Ah, Sayo is always so polite and precious. Mikazuki's cheeks will hurt later from smiling so much but he's happy! He's very happy. The tachi will make sure to devote this current time to Sayo only since he might have been waiting for awhile to talk to him among everyone else. ]

Thank you, Sayo-kun. It's a very interesting occasion, isn't it? A first for even an old sword like me! Ahaha, but I'm sure it'll be fun with everyone too.

[ He can only really lament the fact that not everyone who should be here is...well here in this colony to celebrate it too. ]

Yes... I'm sure everyone would make sure the wedding will be perfect for you two. ["Perfect". PRETTY STRONG WORD, but Sayo knows everyone would want only the best for their great and honourable grandpa swords.] Including me...

[ Show some emotion when you say that?! But he does smile even if it's tiny and brief. ]

You have my thanks, Kousetsu-kun! [ He's always tickled pink to receive congratulations and acceptance at this Very Human Concept! It might be a bit strange for spirits such as them to get used to but he's looking forward to it being commonplace.
