[ It took awhile for Mikazuki to have gathered everyone he wanted to for this. Some of the invites were the tachi going to meet up in person to invite them, others were video or phone chats if he couldn't track them down -- REGARDLESS! He's gathered everyone on the first floor of Sworhaus...kind of jam packed everyone in the living room as much as he was able to. It's a little close for comfort but he just needs everyone to sit still for a little while before he drops the Big News. ]

Ah, where do I start? [ He's a little nervous at first but then in true Mikazuki fashion, he happily drops the news! ]

So, as some of you might have noticed, Kogitsunemaru and I recently acquired a pair of matching rings! As some of you may have also noticed...their placement on our left hands was...intentional. Ahaha, when I invited you all here to share the news of our...engagement, I suppose that's our way of inviting everyone to our future fox wedding in the first place.

[ There should probably be Formal invites but Mikazuki will get to that later...after all that is said and done anyway, he'll allow everyone to mingle at their leisure whether with each other or with him and Kogitsunemaru for questions or congratulations or what have you. ]

CLOSED TO KASHUU AND LILI

[ BUT FIRST! Mikazuki darts over to two very specific people...pardoning himself for the abruptness of it but takes their hands and leads them a little away from the others. He'll thank them for coming and he hopes that they'll both indulge this old man as he asks them for help... ]

Kashuu-kun, Lili...I was wondering if both of you would be able to help...ah...plan it? Aha, Kogi and I aren't the type to really do all of this ourselves and we discussed it already and agreed that others might be more suited to the planning part.

[ He's actually lacking his usual Jiji Charm™, seeming more apprehensive than anything. He almost wants to ask if any of this seems silly or strange for sword spirits to be doing something like this but the question is left in the back of his mind. It may be obvious that he's nervous however with the way he squeezes both Lili and Kashuu's hands... ]

You have my sincerest thanks! [ Mikazuki's truly grateful to have such kind (and stylish) friends! He knows a thing or two about elegance and all of that but falls short when it comes to planning an actual wedding -- especially between two sword spirits? How will it all work?

He is teeming with questions but FOR NOW...he'll squeeze both their hands with a determined little nod. ]

I'll be in both of your care for this. I'll do my best to aid in planning but...well, where does one start with wedding planning exactly? [ Clothes? Flowers? Food??? ]

[Holy fucking moly that's a good question Mikazuki, and in that moment Kashuu realizes he also has absolutely no idea where to start with planning a wedding.

...But that's okay! You gotta just fake it til you make it, right?? He knows enough about party planning in general that he's sure between him and Lili, they can come up with something that passes muster. They already have the most important part - having pickyass tastes and perfectionist streaks - down pat!]

—Well! I think probably theme ideas... Like, things you like or colors you want or whatever!

[FAKING IT TIL YOU MAKE IT SOUNDS LEGIT though Lili at least has been invited to weddings and nonsense, even though she's never planned one herself or known anyone who's gotten married or thought about getting married herself except for some wildass fantasies.

Mm, colors would be a good place to start. Then location. Eventually menu, guests, time, decorations, ceremony - not to mention what you'll be wearing!

[ OH. That's so much -- where to begin??? ]

Then let's discuss colors first and foremost! [ Mikazuki takes a second to look over his clothes, the usual blues and golds that he always wears...then Kashuu and Lili will note how he peers across the room at Kogitsunemaru... ] Yellow and blue seem the most obvious?

And clothes...I assume I can have something tailor made? [ says the Jiji who probably has all his clothes in Cereal tailor made because he likes to be adorned in a lot of layers and accessories. ]

[THAT IS SO MUCH. Kashuu's still a novice in the party-planning arena, goodness, he'll have to work hard to catch up...]

I was thinking something like that, too. [THEME COLORS.] Some black and white too, probably, since that's classic.

[As far as he knows... He'll also nod in response to the tailor made comment, gesturing vaguely with a hand-flappy motion.]

We'll take care of that. What style of clothes d'you wanna wear, though? Traditional or Western, or something else?

Not too much black, keeping it light and bright seems appropriate.

[FROM WHAT SHE KNOWS OF THE PEOPLE TO BE MARRIED.... yes.... Regardless she's going to nod-]

That can help determine the menu and decorations too.

[ Ah, Mikazuki is visibly getting more excited by the ideas. He's leaning in towards the other two kind of like they're talking about some big secret no one else is allowed to hear except them.

Speaking of which -- ] Most importantly...I'd like it to be an event for everyone.

Certainly Kogitsune and I are important on that day but...I wish for everyone we care about to feel comfortable and happy. [ he's old and sentimental you see ] Kind of like a family? [ sparkle sparkle ]

[THAT'S SO GROSSLY SQUISHY AND SENTIMENTAL. Kashuu's shot right in the heart and flusters like a moron for a second... Why are all these grandpas so full of Feelings™!! Even if he's said similar things before, it's different in front of other people, okay.]

Don't worry about that, you fussy old man. As if we'd make it anything less than perfect - and perfect means perfect for everyone!

[...In the end, he really does want to make sure that the day is enjoyable for absolutely everyone in every way, though. Weddings are supposed to be big important special events, right? And this is the first one any of them will have ever properly attended, and it's for two of their own, so that makes it doubly important.]

[It's cute.... It also feels a little bit like she's intruding on something - swords are swords are swords and even if she knows them fairly well, it's not quite the same - but she wonders if maybe it's okay to think that "everyone" extends to her too?
