[ It took awhile for Mikazuki to have gathered everyone he wanted to for this. Some of the invites were the tachi going to meet up in person to invite them, others were video or phone chats if he couldn't track them down -- REGARDLESS! He's gathered everyone on the first floor of Sworhaus...kind of jam packed everyone in the living room as much as he was able to. It's a little close for comfort but he just needs everyone to sit still for a little while before he drops the Big News. ]

Ah, where do I start? [ He's a little nervous at first but then in true Mikazuki fashion, he happily drops the news! ]

So, as some of you might have noticed, Kogitsunemaru and I recently acquired a pair of matching rings! As some of you may have also noticed...their placement on our left hands was...intentional. Ahaha, when I invited you all here to share the news of our...engagement, I suppose that's our way of inviting everyone to our future fox wedding in the first place.

[ There should probably be Formal invites but Mikazuki will get to that later...after all that is said and done anyway, he'll allow everyone to mingle at their leisure whether with each other or with him and Kogitsunemaru for questions or congratulations or what have you. ]

CLOSED TO KASHUU AND LILI

[ BUT FIRST! Mikazuki darts over to two very specific people...pardoning himself for the abruptness of it but takes their hands and leads them a little away from the others. He'll thank them for coming and he hopes that they'll both indulge this old man as he asks them for help... ]

Kashuu-kun, Lili...I was wondering if both of you would be able to help...ah...plan it? Aha, Kogi and I aren't the type to really do all of this ourselves and we discussed it already and agreed that others might be more suited to the planning part.

[ He's actually lacking his usual Jiji Charm™, seeming more apprehensive than anything. He almost wants to ask if any of this seems silly or strange for sword spirits to be doing something like this but the question is left in the back of his mind. It may be obvious that he's nervous however with the way he squeezes both Lili and Kashuu's hands... ]

I am glad too. Were you waiting for long? To tell everyone, that is.

[She manages a smile now.]

Of course it is the right thing. It is something that makes you happy, no?

For a long time, we toyed with the notion that perhaps it was more than fate that had us come together in our Citadel. Then, when we were both 'rescued' and brought here... it felt natural that we should do something to bind us together.

[ He sighs happily, the cup in both of his hands. ]

We might never get another chance to do something like this. Things happen quickly, mostly for the worst, so it felt like the right time.

[ From the most recent events of weird spirit animals to the elementals whisking them away, Kogi's really just hedging his bets that something bad is more likely to happen than something good.

Sometimes, one has to make the good happen. ]

[hoasen]

[Hard work always pays off, she would say. And in this case, they endured hardships together.]

You two understand each other best as well, no? [Having been together for so long.]

I think it was already destined. You just needed to take action, that is all. And you did.

I hope we would. This is the best way we can publicly show that we do, as well. Though we spend much of our time together, it'll be nice to make it something formal by human standards as well.

[ He smiles inwardly, closing his eyes in thought. ]

True. It was also destiny that brought us here, too. Whether we'd be able to do this at home is... doubtful.

[ With hands by his stomach, he bows slightly to Vietnam. ]

Thank you for supporting us, as someone who has been through similar feelings. Out of everyone, you probably understand us the most.

They say we are above human traditions, yet it must be nice to be able to partake in one! All immortals imagine it, at least once in their lives.

[She certainly does. How would it be like to live like humans do, and fall in love and get married! To have a family! It is close enough already, so it is merely a passing thought for a lonely old soul.

But she can be truly happy here, where such a dream is achieved by two spirits she holds dear.]

I think you still can. You have this form now. At home, here, across worlds and all of eternity, no?

[She bows deeply back, trying not to let him show her too much gratitude! She's too humble for that.] We are comrades. We are also family and kin. I may understand you, but more importantly, I will support you forever.

[aslyfox]

[ For a second, Kogitsunemaru's smile falters as he starts to blink more and more. He has to put his cup down, raising his sleeve up to his face. The tiniest of sniffles, as he wipes his eyes and covers up his expression just briefly so that when he does lower his arm, it reveals the same happy look.

Albeit, a little damp around the smiling eyes. ]

We're so lucky to have a friend like you. It's better than 'support' to be able to trust one who can share in the way that we live, as unusual as it can be at times.

[ He takes a slow and deep breath, exhaling just as measured as he took the air in. ]

... I'm glad to be able to share these moments with you. May we carry these memories into wherever fate takes us.

[hoasen]

[She gets worried when his face starts to change, and quickly approaches to see if he's okay, looking over him quickly.]

Kogitsunemaru...?

[But he smiles, when he pulls his hands away. So she cups his hands with her own.

After dabbing away whatever is left of the dampness.]

You're right. It's more than support. It's...perhaps words can't really describe it. [It's that strong.]

I will remember them forever.

[aslyfox]

I'll do the same, as long as I can, and I hope to be able to recall these times with others! Even if they don't remember, I will surely carry our legacy forward...

[ A solemn reminder that there are some who came and left, some who never arrived, and a few that have experienced coming, going, then coming again. Just like him. ]

By the way, I may need your assistance in flower arrangements. It makes sense that you would be the one to ask, after all. Would your shop be able to handle these things? Nothing too complicated, though my other half will have input as well.

[She nods firmly, because it's true. Who knows where the others are now, do they remember what they all been through?

No, don't think about it. It's not something they should think about.]

I believe everyone will remember. I've spoken to those how did, after all. And oh! [She straightens up, looking so pleased!] Yes! Whatever you two will want, I will provide, of course.

[aslyfox]

[ It brings a little comfort to the old grandpa fox that at least everything that happens won't become a long-winded explanation followed by being told he's crazy. Foxes aren't crazy, unless they're crazy awesome.

He clasps his hands together with a nod! ]

Great! We might visit at any moment's notice. Planning this thing looks like it'll take more than just the two of us, so relying on others is something we will be doing as much as possible.

[ It's going to be real fun when Kogi and Tsuru visit together... ]
