[ It took awhile for Mikazuki to have gathered everyone he wanted to for this. Some of the invites were the tachi going to meet up in person to invite them, others were video or phone chats if he couldn't track them down -- REGARDLESS! He's gathered everyone on the first floor of Sworhaus...kind of jam packed everyone in the living room as much as he was able to. It's a little close for comfort but he just needs everyone to sit still for a little while before he drops the Big News. ]

Ah, where do I start? [ He's a little nervous at first but then in true Mikazuki fashion, he happily drops the news! ]

So, as some of you might have noticed, Kogitsunemaru and I recently acquired a pair of matching rings! As some of you may have also noticed...their placement on our left hands was...intentional. Ahaha, when I invited you all here to share the news of our...engagement, I suppose that's our way of inviting everyone to our future fox wedding in the first place.

[ There should probably be Formal invites but Mikazuki will get to that later...after all that is said and done anyway, he'll allow everyone to mingle at their leisure whether with each other or with him and Kogitsunemaru for questions or congratulations or what have you. ]

CLOSED TO KASHUU AND LILI

[ BUT FIRST! Mikazuki darts over to two very specific people...pardoning himself for the abruptness of it but takes their hands and leads them a little away from the others. He'll thank them for coming and he hopes that they'll both indulge this old man as he asks them for help... ]

Kashuu-kun, Lili...I was wondering if both of you would be able to help...ah...plan it? Aha, Kogi and I aren't the type to really do all of this ourselves and we discussed it already and agreed that others might be more suited to the planning part.

[ He's actually lacking his usual Jiji Charm™, seeming more apprehensive than anything. He almost wants to ask if any of this seems silly or strange for sword spirits to be doing something like this but the question is left in the back of his mind. It may be obvious that he's nervous however with the way he squeezes both Lili and Kashuu's hands... ]

[ What, they don't have some sort of hidden fox language? At least Naki's efforts are rewarded with their robofox pretending to be dead.

That's... something. What programs a cute, tiny, mechanical kit to fake-die?! A monster, probably! Gosh. ]

... maybe I should... pick it up...

[ Crawling over, the robofox quickly hops up and scurries to the bag, yapping. ]

Please?

[ No, says the fox. ]

[A hidden fox language between an ancient baby foxghost and a young baby foxbot...they should figure something out, that sounds like it'd be cool.

But no, robofox has had no training of any kind and has mostly just learned things like "I'll get in trouble if I do this (but I'll do it anyway)"

Anyway the smallest fox sighs a weary sigh, trotting over to robofox--who promptly jumps up, grabs the bag again, and dashes off.]

--Get back here!! [aaaaand there goes smallest fox too?]

[ As quickly as foxes can be, there they go. ]

Small fox could easily be a great mentor for the robot fox. He exhibits great patience, to a point. A very different personality than what he is used to as well.

[ Because in a study of behaviors, Naki is very much the most reserved while a robofox demonstrates the natural attitude of the best animals on the colony. ]

... but I know our lives will be better with you and your fox in it. Someone has to keep sly foxes in check, huh?

[yaayaa]

[He watches them go, not giving any answer to Kogi's commentary, mostly because he agrees. What else is there to say?

There's a smile though - a barely noticeable one - at that last bit. It's nice to hear that their being there is appreciated, especially from the fox he looks up to.

Naki nods, still looking off at wherever the smallest foxes have gone...and then turns to stare at Kogi instead.] Is Mikazuki-san the one keeping?

[ The gentle smile on his face freezes, thinking about the question to himself for a moment. Before responding, he gently pats Naki on the head. ]

Perhaps. However, I believe that there may be times when we may have to keep the Jijii contained. I hope you're up to the challenge!

[ Kogi's 100% positive that Naki can be forceful when he needs to be! Surely he can stand his ground against the power that is... cute grandpa hi-jinks... ]

[yaayaa]

[Containing a Jijii...can he do it!? Is he up for that!? He accepts the headpat at least, and makes a noncommittal noise that could potentially be construed as a "Yes, I'm totally up for it!" because letting people draw their own conclusions is easier than attempting to conclu...se...things himself.

Meanwhile, it sounds like the foxes might have knocked something over in their running around the apartment.




Two things? That might've been two.]

[ Hopefully they weren't really expensive things... how many more microwaves will Swordhaus go through? Will they keep buying televisions until they never learn? What else will Haruji have to spend his money on, except when the spirits actually put their points together and purchase the things they really need! ]

... which fox do you think broke something first? Maybe we should intervene.

[ Kogi's not moving up to speed, slowly getting up while hoping nothing else crashed to the floor next. ]

[yaayaa]

[At this point you'd think they'd have learned to stop getting expensive things...if we're lucky, maybe the foxes didn't break anything at all! Or maybe they knocked over all of Kashuu's nail polish, that's a possibility too.

...He gets up! A little faster than Kogi, but he's still kinda taking his time...does he want to know what they're doing? But he's gotta! It's his job!

But if they broke something important, will he get in trouble.....let's just peek out the door instead of actually chasing them.]

[ Peeking over Naki, he sighs. Another sad affair will come to the Swordhaus as another appliance has fallen. Of COURSE it'd be another microwave! It doesn't matter which apartment the swords are in, the small cooking device is always the first one to go... again... and again... ]

... do you think the foxes can pay for that one?

[ Wait. ]

Not us foxes, but those foxes.

[yaayaa]

[Nice save.]

They don't have money.

[Not-so-nice save?]

[ ... or no save whatsoever, it seems. ]

Why not? I figure maybe your fox could have gotten a job, at least.

[ What are these foxes without occupations?! Look at the two spirits, they have obligations... ]

[yaayaa]

[Shaaaaking his head....]

He goes with me.

[Just imagine Naki saying things like "Pizza delivery!" it doesn't work...fox does the talking for him? That's just how things are.]

And he doesn't get a separate payment for working with you?

[ All foxes deserve equal pay, or at least some pay! It should be obvious to whoever Naki works for that there are two that need to be given some amount of money... ]

... ah, no matter. I have a little put away for emergencies like this. We'll get one that won't break so easily next time, hm?

[ Then, another CRASH!... there goes a plate that had cake on it. ]

[yaayaa]

[Shaaaking his head again at that first question. They're together, so they get one person's pay. Do they even consider the fox to be a separate entity? Not where money is concerned, at least.

...Naki makes an affirmative noise to the second part, and might've flinched a very tiny bit at that new crash. Maybe they should finally actually check it out? He's opening the door, he's going for it, he's gonna catch the culprits!!

Hopefully the damage will be something they can afford.]
