![]() It's been a whole month without any new arrivals. Who knows why? If you ask CERES, they won't bother with any in-depth explanations. They will simply claim that none of the code out there has been responding to their recovery methods, so they had to rework a lot of their technology. However, after several weeks of grueling work, they have finally experienced success! A fresh new batch of faces is coming in, and to celebrate their arrival and the real upcoming holidays, CEO Julius Vincere has arranged for a Christmas-themed carnival for all to enjoy. Those who arrive will wake up in Cerealia and be given a long, boring explanation and powerpoint as per usual before being ushered onto a bus (there is no escape. The robots will force you onto the bus one way or another). You will be unwillingly carted to the theme park where you will be immediately assaulted by a giant array of lights followed by several rides that you can enjoy. After you disembark from the bus, one of the snowman robots will be waiting to give you tickets to the rides and show you around as part of the Grand Opening. The amusement park will remain open for the rest of the month of December so anyone can visit as they please. The first couple tickets will also be on the house for new arrivals, but the rest will have to be bought with credits, so choose wisely! (Or try and sneak into the rides -- then face the wrath of the snowman robots and their snowman firearms :D)

No doubt we will continue to meet like this so long as these robots persist in harrying and attacking others, Wright-dono.

SEASON'S GREETINGS
COME GIVE SNOWTRON 5000 A HUG
[Blackquill grins.] You seem to have endeared yourself to it, Wright-dono...
no subject
I still prefer it over the spanking ones...]
Snowtron 5000, I think we should see other people...
no subject
WHY DON'T YOU WANT A HUG?
MY PROGRAMMING INFORMS ME THAT PEOPLE ENJOY HUGS
[Blackquill is somewhere between amused and exasperated. This could go on forever.] Accept that your programming is nothing but an unwanted nuisance, and answer my questions, will you? I will not allow my interrogation to be derailed.
no subject
...What if we give you a hug after you answer our questions?

I CAN ANSWER ENQUIRIES ON HOW TO GET AROUND THE PARK
IF I GIVE YOU A TOUR, WILL YOU GIVE ME A HUG?
[The Snowtron 5000 wheels over to Phoenix. Apparently the robot really wants that hug.]
no subject
What? It's just one of those... um, intimidation tactics you like so much.
[Then he looks back at the robot thoughtfully.]
A tour... is a tour what we want, Prosecutor Blackquill?
no subject
[And because he's beginning to lose his temper, and because hacking a robot to pieces is probably not a smart idea with so many other heavily-armed robots around, he turns away from the Snowtron 5000.]
We'll have to seek answers elsewhere, Wright-dono. It appears to follow only a select few conversation patterns.
no subject
You're right. I doubt we'll be able to get more out of this one like with Ponco.
That means we have a whole park to investigate.
no subject
[He surveys the park thoughtfully. Despite the sadistic nature of the rides, that doesn't seem to have stopped the lines for each ride getting any smaller.]
Perhaps all we can do is continue to observe the behaviour of the more erratic robots, and see if it will aid us in piecing together their motives...
[...If motives even exist. Maybe they really are just doing this for someone's personal entertainment.]
no subject
That could be a good place to start. What exactly is the point of this place? Is it all just some big holiday distraction, or something more?
no subject
[The ever-helpful Blackquill "figure out the obvious for yourself" answer.]
no subject
Maybe... maybe it is a distraction?
no subject
Unearthing the truth of this place will be no simple task, it would seem.
no subject
Then we can... you know.. cut our way through, to the truth of the matter?

As prepared as I ever am. [...In other words, not much at all.] I bet this place is just the training grounds for what we have in store.
