![]() It's been a whole month without any new arrivals. Who knows why? If you ask CERES, they won't bother with any in-depth explanations. They will simply claim that none of the code out there has been responding to their recovery methods, so they had to rework a lot of their technology. However, after several weeks of grueling work, they have finally experienced success! A fresh new batch of faces is coming in, and to celebrate their arrival and the real upcoming holidays, CEO Julius Vincere has arranged for a Christmas-themed carnival for all to enjoy. Those who arrive will wake up in Cerealia and be given a long, boring explanation and powerpoint as per usual before being ushered onto a bus (there is no escape. The robots will force you onto the bus one way or another). You will be unwillingly carted to the theme park where you will be immediately assaulted by a giant array of lights followed by several rides that you can enjoy. After you disembark from the bus, one of the snowman robots will be waiting to give you tickets to the rides and show you around as part of the Grand Opening. The amusement park will remain open for the rest of the month of December so anyone can visit as they please. The first couple tickets will also be on the house for new arrivals, but the rest will have to be bought with credits, so choose wisely! (Or try and sneak into the rides -- then face the wrath of the snowman robots and their snowman firearms :D)

So that's their theme song......Yes good, she'll make him sit down and everything.]Hmm...how suspicious. It is similar, just suddenly change...but ah! Are you alright? I mean, you had your face hurt like this and was pinned down... [YEAH SHE REMEMBERS AGAIN, and is trying to look him over. And as she does so--]
But yes, that is what we all assumed, but those who have been here for longer has been telling us there might be something deeper.
no subject
Yes it is. It's a song called "reis_laugh.mp3"]I have to keep saying I'm okay, don't I? [ STOP REMEMBERING he sighs, voice a little harsher this time. ]
...Do you have an idea of what could be going on?
no subject
I need a download and for it to become everyone's ringtone, statAnd a nod! She doesn't seem at all deterred by his "harsher" tone.] Yes you do. Although if you just let me see, and confirm that you are okay, then I will not question it anymore. [BARGAINING.]
Unfortunately, not as much as I would like. So far, they keep their secrets well guarded. And that they seem to be more intent on having us just live here like it is normal.
no subject
Rei's laughter is the true mastermind behind ViViD]You can already see it, can't you? [ A pause. ] I'll live. I'm used to having greater injuries than these.
[ He knew there was something wrong with this place; that they couldn't be trusted completely. The woman's words only validate that. There's more to the story than what they're letting on, isn't there? The Princess wouldn't stand for this at all, if she were here... ] ...There is an off-putting feeling about this place, after all. They make it sound like we're safe here, but then they pull things like this. Just what are they thinking...
no subject
SO THAT'S THE BACKGROUND MUSIC.]I can, but there's...is that a cut on your leg...? [SQUINTING.] I'm a little worried about hearing how you're used to greater injuries. What is it you do?
[She hums, because yes, there's always something odd. It's comfortable, she can live here with no worries. That just makes it all the more suspicious.] Mmm, most I've spoken to have the same feeling. Their true intentions are still unknown, but whatever it is, it's not good for us.
no subject
huehuehuehAHAHA]Is it? [ Well, he knows something's there. Just never bothered to look at it, oops. ] I'm a bodyguard.
Probably not. [ He shrugs. It's fishy. ] All the more reason for us to leave.
no subject
THE WORLD IS DOOMED...AWESOMELY]Please excuse me. [Because she's going right up to give it a good look.] It is, you should sit down for a moment, I didn't even see you take a break. But suddenly I understand. [She looks him up and down.] Even as a bodyguard, you should still be more careful.
I agree that we all need to leave. Yet, we also have to find out if they were telling the truth about the state of our worlds. That is one thing we can't risk either.
no subject
VERY DOOMED INDEEDHe watches her as she inspects his leg. He wants to protest again...but there's really no getting through to her. Women...so stubborn, sometimes. But he finally does as she says and sits down on the ground, letting her look at the wound. ]I'm looking for someone. Her name is Yona. Tiny, short red hair, has bags under her eyes all the time... Have you seen her around?
[ Might as well ask because he's got no leads on her presence at all. Losing Yona is another thing he can't risk, and at least if she's here, he can protect her. ]
If she's here, then they aren't being entirely honest.
no subject
THE BEST KIND OF DOOM THOUGH i submitAnd yes good, one to Vietnam, zero to Hak (0.5 though, she didn't do the bandage thing as quickly as she would've liked). But at least she finally got through to him, even though he is uncouth enough to just randomly sit down. She's not complaining as she inspects his leg.Hmm, not so bad, but he uses his leg more than he would his face. Just let her look for a larger bandage in her bag (wow).]
Yona? [She pauses only to think about this. Nothing connects right now. All the red heads she knows right now have long red hair too.] I haven't seen her, unfortunately. Or fortunately if she's still at home.
What would happen if she is here?
no subject
huehuehuehue.......That. Happens quite often to him, so... He says nothing as she looks for a bandage again, his spear beside him as he ponders on Yona's whereabouts. ]It would prove that they were wrong about everyone else from home being gone, at least. [ A beat. ] ...I'm responsible for ensuring her safety.
[ He says it somberly, and there's concern in his eyes now. If she's at home...then no matter what, he needs to get back as soon as he can. He needs to be there for her. ]
no subject
EPIC RUN....Ah, the day in the life of Hak. And here's a bandage! Fortunately, with his pants cut as is, all she'll need to do is slightly tug at the rip for it to open and then just slide the bandage in. With deft fingers like hers, she makes it look easy and took no time at all.]I see, yes I understand what you mean. There might be other friends of yours here too. Many of mine are also here, though we all share different times.
[She looks up, ready to put a bandage on his face now that he's not complaining anymore (the small one again). He looks worried. He's held on for long since the trip here.] Since we are so far into the future, once we can go back, I am certain you can go back to the time you were taken. It would be like you never left at all. I'm not sure if that helps you now... [But it is something for him to think about so that he doesn't stress out.]
no subject
And then his pants are being ripped? And she feels her fingers on his legs? Well that's a little awkward but Hak she's just bandaging you up ok. That was fast, anyway. ]
Oh. [ Pauses, and then: ] There's no way to be sure. Those idiots could be anywhere for all I know. [ Just...hopefully alive. ]
...Like nothing happened... [ It's mumbled under his breath, and he raises an eyebrow at her. ] Are you sure about that?
no subject
But oh! I see. You can possibly find them using your CereVice. I'm not entirely sure how one can find a person with it yet. But I think you would be more relieved if they are not here? [Little does Hak know that Vietnam has some of them serving her BAHAHAHA okay no they're part timers.]
I can't say for sure, but I would like to think that. It is what I thought when I discovered that myself and my colleagues originated at different time points. So! If this place can reach in at different times to find us, then we can go back at the same times too, in theory, no?
no subject
[ Oh? The weird box-looking thing? Hak has it in his pocket but he's never used it yet since, well, he has no idea how to. He pulls it out though and shows it to her, a blank look on his face. Yep...that might tell her that he knows nothing about it. ]
This thing? I don't know what it does, but if it can find everyone, then it'll be useful.
... [ He blinks. This time thing doesn't make much sense to him at all. Not from a dimension where time travel is a thing, this one. ] Huh?
no subject
[And she pauses long enough to look at the device, before blinking back at him.]
So you haven't used something like this before?
[And then clears her throat.] Aha, perhaps later I can try to draw it out for you to allow this to make more sense. [Time isn't that hard, says sci-fi movies. Sometimes.]
no subject
It's the first time I've seen anything like this. [ He then gestures to a robot nearby, escorting some unwilling guests into some of the rides. ] Or that.
Maybe. I have some things I need to finish first. [ Like finding the Princess and the rest of the crew, for instance... ]
no subject
Oh? A robot? So these are all ahead of your time, I am guessing? What was it like back home? [She's good with getting the year too.]
Ah yes of course, do everything that you must. There's still a lot to do, such as settling down in your living space.
no subject
I came from Kouka Kingdom. It's always under the rule of an... [ He almost snarls at what's going to come next, but he holds back. ] ...emperor. We don't have things like 'robots'.
Where are our living headquarters?
no subject
Kouka Kingdom...unfortunately I have no heard of it. [So she is no help whatsoever for this topic :( There's an unusual pause, so maybe there's something complicated about this emperor.] No robots, none of this technology? Ah, I mean, like the lights, working machines... [What to say?!]
There is a residential area, and it has tall buildings with many apartments. One of those is for you.
no subject
If we're from different worlds, it would make sense. [ He shakes his head at the second part. ] Nope. None of this. Lights come from candles and people do everything by hand.
...How big is an 'apartment'? [ Again more lingo he doesn't know, and it's proving to be way too much trouble. ]
no subject
Hmm, yes, it looks like we are. I wonder what else is different? [Other than his time being further back. His weapon even looks ancient.] I see! I am from a place comparatively further ahead to yours, but even this world baffles me.
Hmm, an average apartment for one person would be the size of... [She looks around, and then points from one sign.] Estimate from there... [And to another.] to there. It comes with a couple of rooms, your own kitchen and bathroom. Quite convenient.
