![]() It's been a whole month without any new arrivals. Who knows why? If you ask CERES, they won't bother with any in-depth explanations. They will simply claim that none of the code out there has been responding to their recovery methods, so they had to rework a lot of their technology. However, after several weeks of grueling work, they have finally experienced success! A fresh new batch of faces is coming in, and to celebrate their arrival and the real upcoming holidays, CEO Julius Vincere has arranged for a Christmas-themed carnival for all to enjoy. Those who arrive will wake up in Cerealia and be given a long, boring explanation and powerpoint as per usual before being ushered onto a bus (there is no escape. The robots will force you onto the bus one way or another). You will be unwillingly carted to the theme park where you will be immediately assaulted by a giant array of lights followed by several rides that you can enjoy. After you disembark from the bus, one of the snowman robots will be waiting to give you tickets to the rides and show you around as part of the Grand Opening. The amusement park will remain open for the rest of the month of December so anyone can visit as they please. The first couple tickets will also be on the house for new arrivals, but the rest will have to be bought with credits, so choose wisely! (Or try and sneak into the rides -- then face the wrath of the snowman robots and their snowman firearms :D)

whhyyyyyt!
I think I’ll wait till you’re done. With everything else that’s gone wrong here, it’s probably safer to just open them one at a time.
[in case its’ full of something horrific, better to let someone else go first.]
nothing can go wrong here...
Though her words has his pausing in ripping the present apart. ]
What do you mean? What went wrong?
not at all. also at work till 5, tags may be sporadic
Didn’t you ride any of the rides? The ferris wheel is haunted, the roller coaster comes equipped with real swords that try and kill you, and there were things in the fun house mirrors.
[Was it just her then? Was this place singling her out?]
8D no worries, I'm on GMT+8
Why would I subject myself to potential danger in an unknown place offered by a suspicious organization?
[ But on that note, maybe he shouldn't open the present so carelessly. So instead of continuing, he reaches for the drawstring bag he bought earlier for the Haro within (and the Gundam but no one need to know this). ]
Haro, open this package. Danger alert. [ The Haro's eyes light up upon activation, flapping it ears eagerly at being given a mission. ] Roger! Roger!
[ With that, a pair of mechanical arms and legs are appears from it's round body as the Haro takes the present from Tieria's hand. If anything happens to the Haro, Tieria can fix it. ]
EST for me, and bed soon.
Is that...you have a robot?
[Excuse the kid from the 90s, Tieria. She's a little on edge around obvious robots. The present is forgotten for the moment, in her curiosity and wariness.]
no subject
[ Tieria raises a brow at her reaction, wondering if robot is such a scary thing for her to react that way. ]
It is not set for combat, you don't need to worry.
[ Whether it's because of bad experience or she's simply not used to mechanical beings, Tieria steps forward to block the Haro from her view, hoping to somehow help her feel more at ease. He hasn't consider Haro would scare anyone since the mechanical buddy has always been well received by the public so this is also something new for him to deal with. ]
I apologize for startling you. If you're concerned I will have it open the present further away from you.
[ The Haro having pick up Tieria's hand signal, is quietly moving away with the present in tow. ]

[She sighs audibly, offering the stranger a somewhat weak smile. The wariness, at least, is gone and in it’s place is full on fascination as she watches Haro move.]
I’m guessing that I’ve got a lot to get used to around this place. Robots and super-computers and…coding and the like most of all.
no subject
It won't take long with how prominent their presence is. You'll get used to them in no time. [ While Tieria is used to robotic beings, that's only because of his involvement in Celestial Being. The majority of humans back at home has very limited access to any robots so he understands where she's coming from.
By then, Haro is done unboxing the present to reveal the rather obscene presents to both of them. ] Mission Complete!
... [ Well. So much for the precaution. ]
no subject
[She does, honestly. Technology has never been her greatest ally. She refuses to have a television, her radio is old enough to remember the invention of instant ramen, and the lighting system in her home is as much firelight as it is electrical.
Watching Haro from a distance, she says very little until the machine holds up the presents. At which point she stops and turns a brilliant shade of red. Her jaw sets itself, tightening up in irritation as her own present is immediately dropped into the trash can.]
Decidedly not what I would have wanted for Christmas.
no subject
Dispose of it, Haro.
[ The Haro heads to the trash to do just that. On the other hand, however, Tieria gives her a curious look. ]
What if yours is different? [ No one says all the presents are the same? ]
no subject
[She scowls down at the present, her face still quite red. And naturally sighs resignedly as her curiosity gets the better of her. Picking it up, she offers it out to the robot.]
Would you mind having him open this one as well then?
