 It's been a whole month without any new arrivals. Who knows why? If you ask CERES, they won't bother with any in-depth explanations. They will simply claim that none of the code out there has been responding to their recovery methods, so they had to rework a lot of their technology. However, after several weeks of grueling work, they have finally experienced success! A fresh new batch of faces is coming in, and to celebrate their arrival and the real upcoming holidays, CEO Julius Vincere has arranged for a Christmas-themed carnival for all to enjoy. Those who arrive will wake up in Cerealia and be given a long, boring explanation and powerpoint as per usual before being ushered onto a bus (there is no escape. The robots will force you onto the bus one way or another). You will be unwillingly carted to the theme park where you will be immediately assaulted by a giant array of lights followed by several rides that you can enjoy. After you disembark from the bus, one of the snowman robots will be waiting to give you tickets to the rides and show you around as part of the Grand Opening. The amusement park will remain open for the rest of the month of December so anyone can visit as they please. The first couple tickets will also be on the house for new arrivals, but the rest will have to be bought with credits, so choose wisely! (Or try and sneak into the rides -- then face the wrath of the snowman robots and their snowman firearms :D)

xx ] Do you like ferris wheels? This is an enchanting one where you get to ride around in a giant snowflake at a very limited speed. The wheel will turn excruciatingly slow before stopping abruptly, leaving you trapped at the very top. We hope you're not afraid of heights because you're going to be in there for a while! The windows on the snowflake will rapidly darken leaving you and your fellow riders trapped in the darkness. At that moment, you will feel something warm breathing down your neck and along the back of your ear. As you reach over, you'll feel like the chair underneath you is made of snakeskin, and a hissing sound will intensify as the "chair" squirms and as the breathing gets louder and hotter. Scrabble at the doors, fight your way out! Will you escape or not? Probably not, but the experience will last only a good five minutes before the lights come back on and before the ferris wheel starts moving again. The chair will appear as normal, and there will be no one else inside except any fellow riders who came with you.

Something about the way he says that apology... ticks her off. A lot. But she bites her cheek and makes an effort to keep things civil. Stay calm, idiot. Inhale and exhale. She doesn't want to turn this sorry excuse of a reunion into a fist fight. Not now, anyway. It'd be so much better if she could figure this out without losing her temper and beating the hell out of him.
She grunts.]
So it seems. [And then she's gesturing with her head towards the direction of the exit.] Let's get the hell out of here. I can't stand those stupid reindeer.

If, for what it counts, she knew he was at least attempting to not be infuriating then the chances she wouldn't possibly hit him would be lessened, hopefully.
For now, he just nods and takes a few steps forwards in that direction while looking back at her casually. He had no idea what she remembered him to be like before, and he wouldn't say anything until she did, unlike his old self which might have apologized for acting weird and wanting to get out of this place quicker than most would have. ]
Me neither. I don't think i've really ever heard something quite so grating on the ears before.
[ There's so much Kaneki would like to say as well but he refrains from it, staying quiet despite the thoughts on his mind at the moment. ]

She isn't sure how to respond to that—so she doesn't. Discussing how annoying something is isn't a conversation she expects to have with him. With Nishiki maybe, but it's inevitable that every conversation with that guy ends up revolving around some annoying subject or another. Still, it's obvious she's mulling about something for a few seconds there, before she pipes up with:]
Hey... That guy... Banjou, was it? What happened with him?

Since arriving here his thoughts and memories have been fuzzy and all scrambled about so the exact details aren't where they should be, but what was more important was the idea that she seemed to truly not know what happened to Banjou. ]
...You don't remember, Touka?
[ A beat. He's somewhat reluctant to continue with this because if his instincts are right then this might come as a surprise to her. ]
After the Aogiri incident... I took him, Tsukiyama and a few others to make a team. He was someone who helped me keep my... peace of mind and brought me back to myself again. It was only after that raid on Kanou's lab did we separate, so i'm not entirely sure what happened to him after that.
