![]() It's morning when the lights go out completely. Not a single one remains on except the glow of the device and whatever flashlights anyone bothered to stock up on. However, a single hologram in the Shopping District broadcasts along a billboard for a Very Important Announcement. After that, you hear a song so tender and beautiful that it must have been composed by angels at the dawn of time. "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed… " When you go outside to investigate, a friendly clown will be inside a stolen(?) ice cream truck, looking to get all your attention before he talks through the speaker on the truck.

Welcome to CEREALIA's fourth official event. For your convenience, we have compiled an OOC post explaining the event in greater detail. Feel free to ask questions there if you have anymore lingering concerns or inquiries. |

We won't go into detail about poor Clown Number Six, but rest assured, Clown Number Five won't be enjoying himself for long as Yang returns the favor-- with a polite shoulder tap and then a punch that sends him further into the shop. Over Edgeworth's head, thankfully, and she might feel bad over the destructive tinkling crashing chorus that follows his flight, but her fighting buddy warrants more attention. A pause, as she rubs her cheekbone. ]
... We need to teach you how to land a decent punch.

He takes out a handkerchief to hold against his bleeding lip, and touches his forehead. Once he finds the sore spot that will most likely become a lump in due time, he lets out a small gasp.]
I apologize; I was caught off-guard. [Also, he can punch just fine!!!
...okay, no, he could still use some improvement.]

Yes, but the same mistake could prove to be more fatal in the future.

Easier said than done, but yes. [A battle was fertile ground for impulsive decisions. Very impulsive decisions you make just to stay alive.]

[ have a nice, solid smack to the back, Edgeworth. ]

Maybe people shouldn't suddenly slap others on the back like that!

[ First order of business, scoop Edgeworth into her arms like the cravated princess he is. ]

[Not expecting this. Not expecting to be carried like this. And not expecting that a girl can lift him up this easily.]

[How dare you insinuate that he will. In fact, Edgeworth tries not to move too much. How do you get off the Yang train without accidentally poking her?]

[She's not wrong. Edgeworth bites his lip.]
I'll do my best to remain still.

[He kind of wants to hang on, but feels like it would be rude to suddenly wrap his arms around her neck, so he settles for keeping his arms close to his body instead.]

[Edgeworth instinctively wraps his arms around her neck despite initially thinking it would be rude. Right now, safely hanging on trumped politeness. He makes a mental note to apologize (profusely) to Yang after this.
Also, he tries not to look down.]

He considers shutting his eyes - okay, he shuts his eyes and remains silent, not daring to move.]

[ she's still really trying hard not to laugh. ]
