![]() It's morning when the lights go out completely. Not a single one remains on except the glow of the device and whatever flashlights anyone bothered to stock up on. However, a single hologram in the Shopping District broadcasts along a billboard for a Very Important Announcement. After that, you hear a song so tender and beautiful that it must have been composed by angels at the dawn of time. "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed… " When you go outside to investigate, a friendly clown will be inside a stolen(?) ice cream truck, looking to get all your attention before he talks through the speaker on the truck.

Welcome to CEREALIA's fourth official event. For your convenience, we have compiled an OOC post explaining the event in greater detail. Feel free to ask questions there if you have anymore lingering concerns or inquiries. |

That's too bad. Hinata-kun and I were worried something like this might happen, so we have quite a few supplies and provisions stocked up. So if you do need somewhere safe, I'm sure you'd be welcome to come.
Well, so long as you definitely don't plan on murdering anyone. That's the first rule! And the most important rule!

no subject
[And it did happen. Often.] But I'm glad to hear you don't plan on playing this game. No matter what they're promising about leaving, I'm sure it's not true.
no subject
I agree, although we have no evidence to prove either case. [If it was true, or not.] But in any case, this wouldn't justify taking even a single life.
no subject
And this time, the justification is even less than it had been.]
Definitely not. And the fact that there's a group so ready to participate in it... they really do seem organized, don't they? [They all dressed alike. It's creepy Komaeda doesn't like it.]

[More dangerous. Komaeda frowns, entirely unimpressed by the clown posses.] That is the question. If they're looking for the "prize" of getting home... well, are they people who've been here before us?
[Or even their contemporaries? Though Komaeda has to wonder about that, with how ready these clown people were to play this game, like they knew it was coming.]
no subject
[Unfortunately, Edgeworth had been more focused on staying alive that this had not been a priority. In any case, it was probably best not to do that sort of thing on his own.]
no subject
[Komaeda isn't sure there really is a police force at the moment. Everything went dark and hell broke loose. IT's strange, and not what one would expect of so advanced a place, right?
Maybe?]
To priority is probably staying safe anyway. The last thing I want to do is add to the trouble other people have to deal with.
no subject
[There IS a police force. Edgeworth knows because he is currently their secretary. But the police folk might be too busy with their own thing.
Paranoid thought: WHAT IF SOME OF THEM ARE THE CLOWNS.]
no subject
[If one side is willing to kill, and the other just to capture, it's an uneven playing field to say the least, isn't it? Hmm.]
I suppose it is disappointing. You'd think the people in charge would be more involved in stopping this from happening. [Seriously where are the police anyway? Or yeah, they're also clowns and that's not a great thought.]
no subject
Indeed. I have yet to run into the police.
no subject
[Actually that's his new working theory.]
no subject
[He sighs and raises a hand to his forehead. No one bothered to make perimeters or mark off safe places or send out patrols. It's mostly the guests versus the crazy clowns and the guests willing to kill for that one shot at going home.]
