![]() It's morning when the lights go out completely. Not a single one remains on except the glow of the device and whatever flashlights anyone bothered to stock up on. However, a single hologram in the Shopping District broadcasts along a billboard for a Very Important Announcement. After that, you hear a song so tender and beautiful that it must have been composed by angels at the dawn of time. "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed… " When you go outside to investigate, a friendly clown will be inside a stolen(?) ice cream truck, looking to get all your attention before he talks through the speaker on the truck.

Welcome to CEREALIA's fourth official event. For your convenience, we have compiled an OOC post explaining the event in greater detail. Feel free to ask questions there if you have anymore lingering concerns or inquiries. |

[He frowns uncertainly.]

[There's nothing to tilt the scale toward anything regarding the identity of their clown friends so far.]
And a case is not won upon mere conjecture.
no subject
...Still, at least conjecture is something. It might not get us any answers, but it could give us ideas on what places we should check out.
[Things like that!]
no subject
Do you know of anyone who has left the city - stepped outside its borders?
no subject
[Hinata frowns and puts his hand to his chin.] It doesn't seem like the easiest thing to do. I want to try, though. After this is over...

[He wants to take his organizer out right now, but they might be ambushed, and he needs his right hand free to draw his sword.]
no subject
[He flashes the lantern around his neck forward, illuminating their way for an instant before he wraps his hand back around it to dim down the light slightly.]
If it's that, then yeah, all you need to do is go as far to the edge of the city as you can... I'm pretty sure.
no subject
Has the CEO warned against leaving this place?
no subject
[Which
is all the more reason to do it
Hinata has a very "you tell me to do this? okay, I'll do the exact opposite of what you want" attitude from his time in Haven. Oh, drink the well water, it's not poisoned? Fuck that, he'd rather trek up to the monster plant-infested garden.]
no subject
I see. I wonder how he would react if anyone asked about it... [Don't mind Edgeworth, he's musing to himself. Realizing that he's still with Hinata, he clears his throat and tightens the grip on his weapon.]
Now, do you wish to stop by some shops, or are we going straight to the base?
no subject
As far as stocks go, I think we're set for now... But how about you? This could be a good opportunity if one of us stands guard.
[And then he can bring him to the base-- well, calling it that is cool and everything, but it's just his place, with traps and so on rigged up.]
no subject
Hinata's idea sounds good, but would they be able to carry any more extra supplies between themselves while still being able to fight at a moment's notice? Plus, Edgeworth needs to learn the route to the base as soon as possible.]
I'd like to learn the route to the base first.
no subject
[Nodding, he steps into the lead, glancing back briefly to assure he's in tow before he begins to walk. He feels hyperaware in the dark, turning his head at any slight sound, listening for the potential echo of footsteps besides his and Edgeworth's.
One hand holds at the lantern around his neck, occasionally flashing it forward to light his way before hiding it again.]
no subject
He shines his lantern all around as well, covering Hinata's blind spots.]
