Kuzuryuu
A. Gardens
[If you happen to be visiting the gardens today, perhaps enjoying a nice walk, you may notice this kid sitting on one of the benches. He doesn’t really appear to be doing much of anything though...he doesn’t even have that look that people sometimes get when they’re waiting for somebody. Maybe he’s just here to enjoy the scenery? Or is he people watching, it’s kind of hard to tell. Maybe it’s both. Because he may end up glancing your way at some point if you seem to be doing something interesting.]
[Or you may run into him by the edge of one of the lakes, where he’s looking curiously into the water. What are the chances of koi fish living in a weird alien colony pond? He’s guessing the chances are not high, but who knows. Maybe he’ll be surprised.]
B. Game Center
[While Kuzuryuu and Peko tend to work at the casino on the same day, their hours don’t always perfectly line up. And that’s fine, since they’re trying not to be too attached at the hip anyway. Though sometimes it leads to the situation Kuzuryuu finds himself in now: his shift is over but Peko’s isn’t. It almost just seems rude not to wait for her when she’ll be done in a just a few hours.]
[So after he inevitably gets bored of leaning on a wall by the entrance to the downstairs casino, he decides to while away the rest of the time by playing a very rousing game of darts...alone. Because there’s nothing more fun than that, clearly. Perhaps unsurprisingly, his aim is just the tiniest bit off, though he does seem to be trying to figure out how to correct for that.]
Pekoyama
C. Cosplay café
[Whether or not your character is the type to frequent this kind of establishment, there’s no missing one Peko Pekoyama standing awkwardly a few feet away from the entrance, near the street. Normally she works inside, where she can safely assume that only a scattered few of her classmates might wander in. Not so today -- it seems that, from the tray of cutely decorated snacks in her hand, she’s there as advertisement.
Though the choice of costume really leaves something to be desired in the advertising department. People are going to get the totally wrong impression from her French maid outfit, and she’ll be quick to correct anyone who might assume that she’s working at a maid café. It’s a cosplay café. Because that somehow makes it better.
When she thinks no one’s looking, she might reach up every now and then to touch the fake black cat ears nestled between her braids, as if adjusting their position. A more careful observer might notice that she’s not fixing them -- she’s petting them. And that’s a little sad, though if she catches anyone looking, she’s quick to resume her professional demeanor.]
Would you like a free sample?
[Her cute outfit doesn’t match her expression, though. Her lips are curved downward into what seems to be a severe frown as she offers the tray to anyone who might look at her too long. Please, oh please, be a complete stranger. It’s fine to retreat, too, since that sure does look like a sword in the bag on her back. What kind of maid carries a sword...]
D. Various bookshops
[Now dressed normally(?) in her usual sailor suit uniform, Peko seems to be gravitating toward two specific areas in each bookshop she enters. In spite of the sword in the bag on her back, she doesn’t seem to be paying any attention to technical manuals or anything having to do with swords or weapons in general. Instead, she seems torn between two different sections -- one is cookbooks, the other is animals.
Either way, she seems to be giving these books a more intense stare than any piece of literature really should be given. Like seriously, what kind of loser reads an animal encyclopedia with that kind of fervor? Save Her.]
Double the Yakuza, Double the (No-)Fun
E. Gymnasium Dojo
[With Kuzuryuu’s arrival, there’ve been a few changes to Peko’s schedule, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, not too many. There just happens to be an extra person present for some of her routines. One of which is her frequent visits to the dojo to practice kendo, wearing her usual black kendo uniform. She didn’t get to being the Super High School Level without actually working for it, after all, and with Kuzuryuu here, she has even more motivation to improve.]
[And Kuzuryuu...well he just seems to be here because Peko is, because he’s certainly not training or anything. He’s just sitting on the sidelines while she practices, keeping absolutely quiet and just watching. Feel free to join him or perhaps ask Peko if she’s willing to spar, because he’s clearly not busy and that’s obviously part of the reason she’s here.]
[Or maybe you run into them a little later on while they’re taking a break at the juice bar. Peko looks a little sweaty and out of breath, but probably happier than most people have ever seen her. Someone glancing in their direction just might notice the elusive small Peko smile, or hear a weird noise that-- actually sounds like a fairly pleasant, if quiet, laugh. Who knew Peko could make those kinds of noises. Who knows what they’re talking about over there, but clearly they need to be interrupted.]
F. Wildcard
[Or, feel free to run into the two of them elsewhere. Maybe as they’re heading back to their apartments after a shift at the casino, or hanging out at the food stalls trying to figure out what to do for lunch. Quite possibly you found them just wandering aimlesssly around the shopping or entertainment districts, who really knows.]

...which...portion of your reply are you referring to?
[Incredible. Apparently he's just having a hard time figuring out what the sarcasm even was.
Though to be fair, this park isn't that great. Just try and get near the water, boys. See how long you find it better than the park on the island.]
no subject
[Ellipses game so goddamn strong right now, Gundam, are you kidding him.]
Th...the melting part, dumbass, what else?! Like I would ever suggest something as ridiculous as the sun melting someone and actually mean it seriously! Especially not someone I just spent weeks with on an island where there was nothing but sun!
[
no subject
[He sort of...silently stares before scoffing a little and looking away. Right. Of course.]
Do not sound so incredulous. I of course knew what you meant. Perhaps I am not the only one who misses sarcasm sometimes!
no subject
Oh bullshit you were being sarcastic, you had to stop and think about it! [Do you even know what sarcasm means, Gundam???]
Anyway...if this place is so boring, what are you doing here then?
no subject
Probably both.
So he drops that and focuses on the second point.]
Where else in this city would you expect to find someone like me? I do not work with robots, I work with beasts.
[Not. That. There are really any beasts here. But still.]
Even with how boring it is, it is a more desirable place to stretch my legs than the rest of the residential or shopping districts.
[Or the pleasure distract...]
...it is a more ideal place for the Devas to spend time relaxing as well.
no subject
[Probably an answer you'd expect more out of Owari or T(w)ogami than Kuzuryuu, but it's quickly become one of his favorite places to spend time.]
[Good man not going to the pleasure district though, Gundam. Good man.]
The dojo over at the gym isn't half bad either. [Not as nice as his family's, of course, but it's not terrible.] Though I guess that's not really your thing either, is it.
no subject
Also he won't be good for long. Eventually he's going to be curious about that area of the city too. Not that he has to worry about the same things you do of course. He is, after all, now An Adult.]
I've little interest in the gym itself. [Sooo you would be correct, Kuzuryuu.] Perhaps I will give the dojo a look, however. I had no idea something like that was there. [Half correct, maybe?]
no subject
[Gundam, you need to get out more.]
no subject
[No, he just really does need to get out more.]
And there's a park there as well? Perhaps I have passed judgement too quickly then. I will have to investigate this at a later time.
[Actually...he furrows his brows a little in thought.]
Have you found anywhere that serves decent curry?
[Because if there are food stalls like back home, surely there will be places that sell curry, right? Pretty much all he really noticed were the fast food chains the few times he was there. Though those times were spent trying to find food for his hamsters and then you know. Facing Souda. He was a little distracted.]
no subject
[What ever came of that...]
How did you not notice the park or the food stalls? Or did you just ignore him? But yeah, there's a stand there that makes some pretty decent curry.
no subject
[It went exactly how you'd expect, Kuzuryuu. Souda got in one good punch before Gundam handed him his ass. There's probably still a little bruising along his jaw where he was struck, but nothing serious and well hidden by his scarf and collar.]
If there's decent curry to be had though perhaps I shall make a detour on my way home and see if I cannot find this stand.
no subject
[SIGH, SOUDA. What are they going to do with you.]
I could show you where it is though, you know.
[It's not like he's really doing anything useful or important at the moment??]
no subject
[Gundam you weren't being very mature either. You showed up. But oh...offering to show him where it is!!]
Such an endeavor would be appreciated.
[A lot, actually.]
no subject
[HE'S NOT. HE'S REALLY JUST NOT. Kuzuryuu gets up from the bench and starts moving towards the park entrance, clearly expecting Gundam to follow him.]
C'mon, let's go then.
no subject
[That's all. He doesn't really want to kick his ass again, okay? But Gundam easily stands and follows him, not really needing to be told to. Not that he's commenting on it either.]
no subject
Don't hold your breath. You know how he gets when it comes to Sonia. It's going to take more than just smacking him around a few times for him to get that particular picture.
[How much more or exactly what, he's not sure. But...hopefully one day he'll get it.]
no subject
I am aware, yes. However...still. I would like to avoid further confrontations with him, if possible. He is not even enough of a challenge to make such battles interesting.
[It's just sort of pathetic...]
no subject
Well at least one of you can be mature about it, at least. Let's change the subject though. Why curry? Is that your favorite dish or something?
no subject
He allows the change of subject to pass without comment though, nodding.]
...I would not say it is my favorite dish overall, no. While curry, on its own, is of course a very good dish, there are others I believe I would prefer should I have to pick a favorite.
no subject
[May as well talk about food, why not. Seems as good a topic as any, considering where they're headed.]
no subject
[Yes, that was really good...it was something they bought at a restaurant of course, for it to be 'delectable' but...]
no subject
[Everything you listed there involved pumpkins, Gundam. What the hell.]
no subject
...however, the devil's squash is my favorite food, so I do tend to enjoy those types of meals more than others.
no subject
[See this is why, in a matter of days, he's not going to believe that you named your radio show "Animal Talk Radio". YOU CAN'T EVEN USE THE WORD PUMPKIN. WHAT IS THIS DEVIL'S SQUASH NONSENSE.]
no subject
[Have you never seen a pumpkin on Halloween, Kuzuryuu?]
