Opening Night [OPEN]
Who: Nonon Jakuzure and anyone who's interested in classical music, saw her post, or was invited by her. Feel free to tag around too and meet other people in their beautiful formal wear~!
When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.
It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.
Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.
After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.
"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"
She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.
Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.
By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.
[ ooc: Feel free to run into her whenever! And the date is kinda nebulous, just assume after the latest event. If you have any questions PM me or hit me up on plurk at

OTA
[Now everyone's dressed super formal and fancy for this event, but Hiro was always the type to defy the rules on a simple whim or just because it was funny. And besides, he didn't have enough credits on him to grab super formal clothing yet. And he simply sneaked in because it was more thrilling that way. But it wasn't going to stop him from enjoying himself. So amongst the crowd would be a simple boy in his school uniform along with a bunny hood coat which could've passed as formal enough in some eyes.]
Maaaan... ♪ That chick's really amazing. Beethoven, Mozart, Bach... She played a ton of the classics! [There's a pause as he leans over to whoever's sitting next to him.]
Did you record that kiss at the end? I wanna see that part again.
(B)Breve -
[With the stage starting to clear up and people were happily mingling, Hiro decided that it was time to explore around a little bit. Of course his searching around makes him stop at the piano that was sitting by its lonesome. He couldn't help and walk over to examine the instrument.]
Ah, this piano is calling me. I wonder what kind of music you can create? Don't be shy now...
[Yup. He's totally talking to the piano like it's a person. He's tempted to play for the sake of getting reacquainted with his magic fingers again. And if he brings in an audience? Well, he wouldn't be against that. So with that, he'll just flop down in the seat and starts to play eagerly. Thanking people would come later on... Music time was going to come now!]
no subject
[ Nonon had watched out of the corner of her eye someone approaching the piano that she didn't know, but wasn't much concerned about it. Not until she started hearing Tchaikovsky, and well played Tchaikovsky at that.
She quickly excused herself to make her way to the piano, leaning against it to watch the boy, she assumes he's a boy, even though she herself barely reaches 5 feet and is 18.
There's little else to say for the moment, as she closes her eyes and listens, letting him play as long as he wishes. ]
no subject
In any case, there was an audience forming... So that was just motivating Hiro to continue playing to his heart's content. Whenever he finishes, he lets out a relaxed sigh as he stretches his arms up into the air. Then he beams rather brightly over to Nonon.]
Oh, um... You were the conductor running the whole orchestra, right? I think you played all of my favorites up there!
no subject
She doesn't care much for the small crowd, feeling at home taken center of attention, even if Hiro is the one playing. ]
That's right, I'm the conductor brought here to liven up this place with my own spectacular charm. [ She waves her baton around lively. ] I was playing the standards of the classical period, with a few of my personal favorites, but I'm glad to hear it. You seem to know what you're talking about though.
no subject
Weeeell... ♪ Not to toot my own trumpet... [H E H] But I've been playing the piano since I was little. So old habits like that tend to die hard. And I've been listening to the classical composers way back when too. Sure, it's relaxing music to hear on a MP3 player, but there's something even more special whenever you come to an actual show.
[It was pretty refreshing to speak to someone who had the same love for music like himself. His best friend listened to music too, but didn't understand it to the same extent as he did.]
no subject
Of course, an MP3 player can't make up for the grand sound of a proper concert hall, the way the percussion echoes and reaches your very core.
[ Obviously, she likes the instruments that are the loudest and most obnoxious. ]
Do you always come to a concert in your school uniform?
no subject
Didn't you know? Only the biggest MVPs can walk into a concert with school uniforms on and still manage to blend into the crowd. ☆
[He liked to do think that Joe's stealth lessons did not fail him, but in actuality... No one bothered to notice until now.]
no subject
Really? It sounds more like a thief who snuck in the back for a free show.
[ She stares him down a little... before pushing him over and sitting next to him on the piano bench. ]
Show me what else you can play, or did you only learn one piece?
no subject
Name something and I'll play it down as best I can! They call me "Godhand Kageyama" for a reason.
[Was it a true nickname or did he make it up for the sake of acting cool? Only he knew.]
no subject
...There's no way anyone actually calls you that.
[ Like hell will she ever. But she thinks. ] Chopin's Sonata Number 2. Do you know it?
[ It's a famous, difficult piece, one that she is challenging him by naming. ] Do you need a book?
no subject
[There's a pause as Hiro shuts his eyes to get a visual of the notes in his mind. He remembered helping out Airi play some bits of Chopin in the two worlds too. If Nonon was challenging him, then there was no way that he could back down. That confident air around him does not falter any.]
I've already got the "book", so no worries there. But which movement do you want? Grave? Scherzo?
no subject
[ It's still a silly nickname. ]
You've already got it? On your device? [ What a confusing thing to say! But his question brings a delightful smile to Nonon's lips. ]
The finale~. [ Likely to be seen as the most difficult, given its tempo and little rests. ]
no subject
[He says that so cheerfully that it was almost unbelievable. The notes were one thing, but there was something that he found was more important.]
The most important part is putting my heart in sync with the piano's. Something like this won't be an easy feat, but I've got the resolve to carry it through!
[Hiro's logic wasn't the easiest logic to follow by normal means. And besides, he had already considered the piano his friend! So with that, Hiro takes a minute to finger out the keys in mid air before he finally starts playing.]

Why the fuck would I have recorded something like that? What the hell is wrong with you?
[Public displays of affection. Ew.]
no subject
Me? What's wrong with you?! Music brings everyone from all nations together, but two girls kissing passionately on stage...!? No, that kind of beauty transcends something else all together! Only the finest people could appreciate high quality entertainment like that!
[... Okay, well. Maybe he's getting a little too passionate about it. But from the charisma in his voice, you'd think that he's preaching about world peace.]
no subject
There's nothing wrong with me, asshole, I'm not the shameless pervert here! "Finest people" my ass... [Though he does admit the guy has a way with speaking. Of course, that only makes him all the more dangerous, given the topic he's choosing to use his charisma on. Perverts with charm...never a good thing...] Besides, I doubt Jakuzure wants anybody appreciating it. You don't typically swear vengeance on people to show that you enjoyed their actions.
[Okay "swear vengeance" is probably a little extreme but surely Kuzuryuu wasn't the only one who noticed that Nonon wasn't happy about it, right?]
no subject
Ohhh... I'm sure that she's just being shy. ♪ Or maybe she's just being really tsundere about it! Well, anyway... I'll be merciful and not tease her about it if she really did take it personally.
[After all, there were plenty of other things to poke people about. This guy was already turning out to be a riot.] So, anyway... Sounds like you know her. Are you two friends?
no subject
[Kuzuryuu gets a kick out of giving Nonon a hard time too, but somehow this just seems like using this situation as ammo would be hitting a little too low below the belt.]
But yeah, I know her. We met at the ball a little while back, though I wouldn't say we're friends.
[Snarkfriends, maybe but not friend-friends.]
no subject
[The whole paparazzi deal was fun and all, but Hiro was always the party animal type. He couldn't stay away from events that were huge and exciting. Idly, he just rocks back and forth in the seat like a sulky five year old.]
Bet there was even more food and the girls were cuter and the music was probably top notch too. Can I turn back time to whenever that happened so I can live it?
[Technically, he could control time since he's absorbed the Factor of Time... Though he couldn't say that he had complete mastery over it.]
no subject
[Even this grump had a good time. Truly amazing.]
no subject
[Yup. Hiro's totally onto him. He had more questions, but poking the grumpy bear was more fun at the moment.]
no subject
[Definitely not something he'd want to do every day but, every once in a while he could deal with.]
no subject
[It sounded like he said something really insightful until the last bit. Well, in any case...]
By the way... You mentioned something about the "natives" here. Are they amongst the alien variety?
