What: Now Senkimaru is here, he's gotten the honorable duty of having to babysit Shuu as the latter drags him all across town and forces him to have fun. Whether said fun will be had in the first place is still up in the air. Demons that are not even vaguely cool hanging out, basically.
Rating/Warning: Other than general shitbaby behaviour from Shuu there should be nothing to warn for!

[ You're probably just going about your day, all nice and quiet and with a great lack of Santas or anything else trying to kill you. A perfect day.

Except it's about to be ruined. Since there's the human demon equivalent of a bulldozer on the streets right now - aka an enthusiastic Shuu dragging a poor soul around as he runs excitedly towards their destination, prattling on about the games they're going to play (while said poor soul - Senkimaru - more or less puts up with it).

But it also means he's not even remotely looking where he's going, so it's very likely he'll just barrel straight into you, with enough speed to send both you and himself tumbling to the ground. Whoops. Looks like it's time for Senkimaru to be damage control.. ]

b - ceres games center;
[ Even those who are trying to enjoy some games in the hall full of flashing lights aren't saved the menace that is Two Demons... or rather one overly annoying and loud demon and one that's somewhat reluctant to be here to begin with. Doubtlessly Shuu's already been dragging his taller friend around to play a lot of the games, but apparently he still needs some help with something, since he's definitely approaching you here and dragging the other along. ]

He-y.. my friend is such an old man that I don't know what kind of games would be fun for him.. you can help him out with having fun, right?

[ DON'T JUST FORCE THAT ON OTHER PEOPLE WITH A SMILE, SHUU.. also yes, he's casually insulting Senkimaru over here. No big deal. They do it all the time. ]

[ It's an ordinary day – as ordinary as a day can be in Tellus, anyway – until a blind idiot charges into him. Being more lean than anything, the harsh impact knocks IV clean off of his feet. They both go sailing down the street on a brief aerial journey, and IV's yelp cuts even shorter as they tumble onto the ground and he winds up on the bottom, his back striking against unyielding concrete.

He sucks in a sharp breath, grimacing. Worst day hosted by CERES ever. ]

[ At least Shuu is having a less bad time with it. Demons heal easily, after all, and they're stronger to begin with - so even if that fact might actually make the fall worse for IV, it's actually a lot easier for Shuu. The whining noise that comes from him is more because of the annoyance at being sent rolling around like this than real pain.

Slowly raising his head from his human cushion, he glances down only to discover it's actually that annoying guy from the party.. well, serves him right. Shuu sure isn't going to apologize - in fact, he doesn't even really climb off the other, he only moves up to sit right on top of him. ]

Humans sure are clumsy...

[ Sorry to everyone involved in this situation, honestly. ]

[Why was Senkimaru not even surprised that this was happening? Shuu had been way too enthusiastic - and that all day long already, if he was honest. Where his friend did get that energy from he doesn't know.

Anyways, it was time to do some damage control. When did he gain a job as a babysitter?]

[ There's no way he can forget this annoying guy. IV's eyes snap open at the familiar voice, and he balls his hands into fists at his side while he attempts to sit upright. It's difficult to prop himself up on his elbows when there's a juvenile sitting on him. ]

You're the clumsy one here . . . Get off!

[ Now if only that voice of reason would take this demon off of him, that'd be great. ]

[ This whole situation is a mess and terrible for everyone involved.. other than Shuu, anyway, who seems perfectly content with his current position on the other man's ribcage. What a comfortable seat, he should have tried this way earlier. ]

Hmm, what's that..? [ Yeah, sorry, Senkimaru, he's totally ignoring you when you're trying to be the boring voice of reason right now. Instead he's looking down at IV with a smile. ] I can't hear you very clearly like this!

[ He looks like he's on the verge of giggling like a little kid. ]

[And don't just go along with it so easily, Ruby..... nonetheless here she is, excited and gleeful. The games center is a fun place to her, so she's happy to spend some time there--seeing Shuu and Senkimaru as familiar faces just cheers her up even more.]

[ .. oh, this girl. That immediately makes the situation a lot more Complicated, and Shuu frowns a little in the middle of all his earlier cheer, like he's not entirely sure what to think when he glances between her and Senkimaru. You can't trust humans that easily, but he doesn't understand her either..

So he seems somewhat like a reluctant kid when he replies. ]

If Senkimaru-san would want that.. [ Why are you suddenly concerned about his opinion now, Shuu, is it just because you don't want to make the Adult Decision here. ]

[Ah, that girl. The weird hunter-girl he had randomly attacked when he first arrived here. And while Senkimaru agrees with Shuu on about not trusting humans - or really, generally trust anyone to fast - she seemed not like the type who had bad intentions for them in mind. Unless Shuu had pissed her off, which was a concern he couldn't entirely ignore, but...]

I don't mind it if she joins us. But would you stop it with the old man talk already?

[ Don't worry, Senkimaru, there's the few rare types Shuu has managed to interact with and not piss off.. mostly since said types are pretty much just about as weird as Shuu himself.

And there's SHUU, who gets a customary glare, like none of that bizarrely intense encounter during the santa attack had happened at all. Apathy goes a long way when it comes to avoiding awkward conversations.]

Would you watch where you're going—? [It's so reflexive to be honest around Shuu by now that Kaoru speaks more harshly than usual, almost reaching up to shove Shuu away before remembering - oh right, in public, gotta be a delicate maiden. And then there's the belated realization that Shuu's demonic presence isn't the only one--]

[ Exactly, just don't mention awkward conversations ever again, that's Shuu's motto too.. he's just never going to bring it up again, no one else but Kaoru has to know about it and the two of them can just mutually ignore it like really sane and mentally healthy Nagumos.

But he sure doesn't miss the fact that Kaoru is acting very.. well, Kaoru-y. Openly so, in public, and usually it wouldn't be a problem since it's not too busy on the streets.. but, well. Senkimaru is right there, and Shuu knows he's not oblivious enough to miss this moment.

So he just lets out a sigh as he untangles himself from Kaoru to sit leaning back on the ground himself. ]

That sort of reaction isn't cute at all.. [ Yeah, sure, draw more attention to Kaoru being a secret shitlord, Shuu. ]

[Oh, what a lucky day. Two Nagumos for the prize of one. At least he's aware now who this person is - Shuu was so kind to enlighten him on his family. He hadn't thought he would see them together like this and in that fashion and...

Was there some kind of awkward tension between them? Or was that just him? At least he could tell Kaoru behaved very differently from the way he had behaved when they had talked at the party. And Shuu hated the Nagumos. Oh boy.This was probably going to turn into a major pain he didn't really want to deal with.]

[There's still a biting edge of irritation present, but Kaoru's simmered down a little, at least... Just gonna sit upright and dust the sidewalk junk off of this nice outfit, gosh!!]

[ Shuu just clicks his tongue and rolls his eyes a little - with the way he's still sitting there on the ground, it means he's sitting a little behind Kaoru.. so the intention is that only Senkimaru can see his reaction. (He knows Kaoru will most likely pick up on the sound too, but hey, it's not like he actually cares about that.)

Picking himself up from the ground and starting to dust off his own clothes as well, he just lets out a whiny sigh rather than adding anything to the conversation. ]

[ah, yes. yuri remembers this guy—shuu, that is. which maybe makes it a bit curious that he's the one being approached, of all people. after all, shuu made no secret of disagreeing with yuri's music taste at the ball.

Shuu isn't as much - although politely barrelling into people is most likely something he's done before since he just doesn't care - but thanks to his demon strength and healing, he's already getting up a moment later, grumbling a little as he dusts off his clothes. ]

[That change of attitude was unexpected and of course didn't go unnoticed. Was that someone Shuu considered a friend? No, even with his friends, Shuu tended to be a bit of shitlord and would have left some smartass comment on the situation.
