Well, of course! It's just. You know. Girls and women tend to be more sensitive to comments on their weight or appearance than guys.

[Or at least, more reactionary, whether in upset, insult or anger at such comments. Which isn't an excuse but more a general observation. It doesn't mean this wouldn't also be mortifying for the boys as well, of course.]

Truly? I have heard that one of my friends is seemingly sensitive about his height. Perhaps both genders can be a little sensitive about appearance at times.

Some people in general are more sensitive about their appearance, I guess. Height could be one reason for it. Though it's not like that is something we can control!

[Usagi herself rather used to being shorter in her group of friends, this only heightened that she's so much younger than the other three currently here.]

Dangerous means all the more reason to not let kids get involved. Or their...Patamons.

[Okay, she's seen Hikari and her digimon. Usagi just hasn't actually had that explained to her yet. Still, she thinks she gets the general idea when he mentions evolving. That's when things tend to get better, right? Bigger, stronger, more powerful sort of thing?]

Are you sure though? I don't want this little guy getting hurt either. Just for us to get out of here. And maybe help if anyone else needs to be pointed to the exit.

[As Takeru was about to say something? Well, she did have a point. Even if he wanted to be seen as a grown up, he really didn't want to see Patamon get hurt either.]

[Although, now that he thought about it...] Because I don't think I've ever seen you around here before?

I'll be okay. I'm stronger than I look.

[Not. Outright revealing her secret as a senshi, but wanting to reassure the kid all the same, with a smile and wink, a finger to her lips, before she gives a nod.]

I only got here a bit ago myself. So that might be why. Even I haven't met everyone around here just yet.

Really? Then you must be the people that got here along with Hikari-chan and Tailmon!

[He said before attempting to lean in closer and give his hand out to her. Sure, it was a bit of struggle but at least the effort was made!] My name is Takeru Takaishi and this is my partner Patamon! It's really nice to meet you!

And um...welcome to Cerealia I guess?

Ah, yes! I did meet Hikari-chan and her kitty when I first got here!

[Usagi doesn't yet actually know about digimon, that Tailmon isn't actually a normal cat, she just thinks Tailmon is adorable. Even if she makes Usagi miss her own cat, Luna.

Still, she gives a small smile and wave of sorts before offering her own hand.]

Takeru-kun? I think she did mention you though.

Really? You did?

[And just like that, Takeru's eyes immediately lit up before he gave a giant smile!]

I didn't know that I met up with one of Hikari-chan's friends here! Then that must mean I really need to make sure you're safe!

I did! With the ViVid before.

[This kid sure is determined about protecting her though. Usagi doesn't want to belittle or underestimate him. But she still feels she should be the one keeping him safe.]

How about we keep each other safe? Just give me a minute....

[She climbs down a little more, peering through the leaves. It doesn't look like the animals are near, nor can she hear them. So they're probably okay for now to try quickly check for anyone else and to get out of here.]

Okay. I think we're good.

[Well, if he's a friend of Hikari's and has helped her out, Usagi doesn't see any problems there. She'd be happy to meet her friend! Once she has the chance to, at least. Which she answers with, in as many words.]

I'd love to meet him sometime! Maybe if we arrange a place to meet and you can bring him along to have ice cream or something? I'm sure I've not met even a quarter of everyone here yet, really. But we did just get here pretty recently, so I guess that isn't too surprising.....

[givesalittlewhistle]

[That earned Hikari's brightest smile yet. Ice Cream! With her new friend, and Takeru-kun too. They'd have to order extra for the digimon, of course, but they'd have to do that no matter where they went....]

Are you trying to meet everyone?

[That was...a lot of people.]

Well, I might. If we're here long enough and all. Besides, there's still some friends here, I'm not sure if I've met their friends they made before I got here too.

[Usagi can't help treasuring each and every bond and friendship she makes. Everyone is important to her. Though she knows it might be difficult or possibly outright impossible to meet everyone.]

Still. With things like this, there's a good chance to meet new people!

[Hikari valued her friendships too. She even liked to consider herself a friendly person. She just wasn't quite so...energized at the thought of expanding on those traits so rapidly.]

By friends...you mean people who are from your world, right?

That's good. That you were able to find them.

Ah, yes. Ami-chan, Rei-chan and Minako-chan are all here at the colony as well! So I'm not completely alone from home. Even if they do remember more than I do.

[Usagi is relieved for that much. That she has her friends here, regardless of their differing memories and ages. That much has her content enough amid all of this, smiling as she takes in the carnival. The food, the games....]

So neither of us are alone. That is good.

It is.

But I don't think we would have been alone for very long, if we were.

[Especially if Usagi was determined to befriend everyone.]

Well, no. We can meet new friends here! Like the two of us, we didn't know each other back home.

[So. Really, Usagi could have managed. It's just that much easier and more reassuring having her friends with her here, or, most of them at least. Which works out, in her case.]

Right? We can come back up if we can't figure where down goes, or if it doesn't take us out of here.

[Or so she tells herself, not to freak out too much about all of this. Still, she does frown at what the other says then, raising a hand to her mouth in thought and worry.]

Precisely, it seems as though we might have quite a lot of time in this place. [ And so far it did not seem there were any direct threats to concern themselves with for now. ]

I do not know. It is...difficult to explain. [ She paused in their walking and closed her eyes. After a second a strange glowing owl appeared. He nuzzled Tyrande's neck before taking to hoovering in the air. ]

Perhaps Dori'thur can find something we cannot.

[tiarae]

Hm? An.....owl? Well, I won't say no if you think he can help us find something.

[Sure, some pets can be trained to fetch. Birds obviously traveling higher and faster than the two of them could on foot. She just didn't quite expect that. But then, she's seen many things since becoming a senshi, since arriving here that she never would have imagined. The way the bird seems to almost glow, unlike any she's seen before.]

He is a scout. His main job is to survey an area before we head into battle. If there are foes out before us, he will alert us before they reach us. [ Or so she hopes. Perhaps he would not be so successful in this place, but she would trust him. ] Go. Return if you discover anything, and do be careful. [ With that the owl took off, leaving a glowing trail behind him. ]

Have you been in this place long? If so have you ever seen anything like this?

[tiarae]

Oh. Okay, if he can help. I just hope he doesn't get hurt or anything.

[If he's hurt, obviously she would feel bad and it'd be more difficult or impossible for him to be able to warn the girls. Still, she watches the owl fly off, admiring the trail for a moment.]

I haven't, no. I just got here before with the whole....er, swamp thing with the ViVid.

He is at no risk of that. [ Or so she hopes. Her tone was much more confident than how she actually felt. No matter what she would worry about her companion. ]

Ah, then not long at all. Are there others from your place here?

[tiarae]

I hope not. But I guess we'll see if we follow in that general direction for now.

[She'd feel the same if she sent Luna out ahead to scout for her and the other senshi too. So Usagi gets it, even if Luna is a cat that can talk that came from the moon.]

There are! Ami-chan, Rei-chan and Minako-chan are here as well! I'm staying with them, at the colony.
