[Well, if he's a friend of Hikari's and has helped her out, Usagi doesn't see any problems there. She'd be happy to meet her friend! Once she has the chance to, at least. Which she answers with, in as many words.]

I'd love to meet him sometime! Maybe if we arrange a place to meet and you can bring him along to have ice cream or something? I'm sure I've not met even a quarter of everyone here yet, really. But we did just get here pretty recently, so I guess that isn't too surprising.....

[That earned Hikari's brightest smile yet. Ice Cream! With her new friend, and Takeru-kun too. They'd have to order extra for the digimon, of course, but they'd have to do that no matter where they went....]

Are you trying to meet everyone?

[That was...a lot of people.]

Well, I might. If we're here long enough and all. Besides, there's still some friends here, I'm not sure if I've met their friends they made before I got here too.

[Usagi can't help treasuring each and every bond and friendship she makes. Everyone is important to her. Though she knows it might be difficult or possibly outright impossible to meet everyone.]

Still. With things like this, there's a good chance to meet new people!

[Hikari valued her friendships too. She even liked to consider herself a friendly person. She just wasn't quite so...energized at the thought of expanding on those traits so rapidly.]

By friends...you mean people who are from your world, right?

That's good. That you were able to find them.

[tiarae]

Ah, yes. Ami-chan, Rei-chan and Minako-chan are all here at the colony as well! So I'm not completely alone from home. Even if they do remember more than I do.

[Usagi is relieved for that much. That she has her friends here, regardless of their differing memories and ages. That much has her content enough amid all of this, smiling as she takes in the carnival. The food, the games....]

So neither of us are alone. That is good.

It is.

But I don't think we would have been alone for very long, if we were.

[Especially if Usagi was determined to befriend everyone.]

[tiarae]

Well, no. We can meet new friends here! Like the two of us, we didn't know each other back home.

[So. Really, Usagi could have managed. It's just that much easier and more reassuring having her friends with her here, or, most of them at least. Which works out, in her case.]

This is true.

And...even though being kidnapped isn't much fun...I am glad that we got a chance to meet.

[tiarae]

Well, I'm still not sure if we can call this being kidnapped or what, exactly. The whole.....code thing....but even so. It could definitely be worse. Nothing is ever so bad if we make friends and have some familiar faces to help us through, at least.

[As always, she's all about the optimism and friendship. Of course.]

[She was taken from her friends and family without her permission. Kidnapping was the best description for their actions she could think of.]

I agree.

It's kind of like home that way.

[Or, rather, the digital world. Everything that they went through...they always made it the furthest when they were together. Friends. People she hadn't even known--at least, not very well--before it all, she had grown very close to in a short amount of time.]

[tiarae]

Like home, huh? I guess. Even back home, we had people around us to support us. This isn't so different that way.

[It might be the best description, but the whole 'code' thing makes it a little stranger, really. Regardless, Usagi is content enough to try make the best of the situation as she can. But in a way, she herself wasn't so different. Thrown into things as a senshi and bonding with the others as a result very quickly.]

No. It's not.

In fact...there are a lot of things here that still remind me of home. Even some of the food is the same.

[Not all of it, of course. But it was already closer to home than anything she'd be able to eat in the digital world.]

[tiarae]

I've found that too! But maybe that's just Rei-chan and Archer's cooking.....

[Still. Either way, it's always nice to have some familiar things to help one feel more comfortable, especially all the more important when away from home. Whether someone is kidnapped or otherwise.]

[If those were her friends from home, then that would make sense. Because they would know the recipes.]

Maybe. But Takeru-kun and I don't cook much. [She could. And...actually, come to think of it, she didn't know if Takeru could cook. His brother certainly could, but the siblings lived apart when they weren't in the Digital World, so there was every chance that the younger boy had never learned.] Han-san does most of the cooking, unless we go out to eat.

Well, I guess that would make sense. I mean, you're still pretty young yet. Is Han-san someone you're staying with here?

[She's pretty sure they couldn't be living on their own at this age, surely. Someone would have to be keeping an eye on Hikari and her friend, right? Not that Usagi is that much older or responsible at all, but even so.]

[She nodded.]

Mmhmm! He was looking after Takeru-kun when he was here all alone. And when I came, he offered to let me stay with them too. He's very nice.

[tiarae]

I see. I'm glad you found someone to stay with that's looking out for the both of you then! I did hope you'd managed something, once we got here to the colonies and all. I'm staying in one of the apartments with my friends. Rei-chan, Ami-chan and Minako-chan. Archer comes around sometimes too, to help out with some of the housework and cooking and stuff too. But he doesn't live with us.

[But really, as long as she has her friends, Usagi couldn't imagine it any differently. It's great, getting to spend so much time with her friends, living with them. Like a permanent sleepover or something! And it is great to be reassured that Hikari has been happy with her arrangements too.]

I don't think I know any of those people.

[Unsurprising, given how many names she'd just seen in the CereVice contacts list. She'd only met a fraction of them in her time here.]

That's okay. There are a lot of people here, and we did only recently get here, right? I'm sure I can introduce you to them sometime! They're here at the carnival too, somewhere.

[It would be easy enough to arrange something later though, she's sure. Right now, she's focusing on Hikari and making sure she's enjoying herself, really.]

[She was enjoying herself...enough. So long as the people around her were having fun, she could have been content with that much.]

I would love to meet them!

What are they like?

[tiarae]

Ah, well, Rei-chan has this sort of...sixth sense thing. She can be pretty scary if she's mad, but she's not so bad once you give her a chance! She helped out her grandpa at the shrine a lot back home. And Ami-chan is really smart! But she's also really nice and helps me with my homework and stuff. Minako-chan is....I guess in some ways she's kind of like me. But she's always serious when she needs to be.

[Devoted. Loyal. All of them are. But it isn't Usagi's place to give away their secrets, their senshi identities. That's up to them. If and when they think that they can trust their friends with their secret.]

[givesalittlewhistle]

[She could hear the warmth in Usagi's voice as she spoke of the girls. Rei-chan...who had a grandfather and worked at a shrine. Like a miko, maybe? Hikari had been to shrines before, but she'd never actually met a real miko in person before!]

[Ami-chan sounded a little like Koushiro and Jou. They were both REALLY smart. Even though Koushiro was younger, he was every bit as smart as the oldest Chosen. And when Minako-chan came up, the first thing Hikari imaged was a second Usagi standing in front of her. Like twins.]

[It was all so wonderful, but there was one thing in particular that, once she echoed everything in her head, drew her curiosity most:]

Sixth sense?

[tiarae]

Oh, um....it's sort of like she gets these 'hunches'? It's hard to explain.

[Still, maybe mentioning that was kind of a bit much. But it's not that much a give-away for her identity as Mars, right? Usagi isn't going into specifics and details here, really. Usagi gives a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of her head.]

But I'm sure you'll meet them at some point!

[Sixth sense. Hunches.]

You mean...like she just kind of...knows certain things? Which people have good in their hearts. When people are sad.

...that sort of thing?

[tiarae]

Something like that. And she usually has a feeling when something isn't right. I'm sure she would be able to explain it better. It's just one of her things, you know.

[Usagi's still trying to be careful how much she says, not wanting to give the senshi's identities away, but sometimes it really is such a part of who they are themselves as well. Especially with Rei and Ami. Even when Usagi knows there is so much more to both of them than the hunches, their intelligence.]
