Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!
Rating/Warning: None so far!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.

And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto

Chicken fights!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

It feels like there are too many people here who know each other for it to be a coincidence, that's all. That, and there are many... unique people here, aren't there?

Nanoha's eyesight was not to be underestimated, even as she sipped highly alcoholic drinks and sprawled herself across a beach chair!]

Well, if there's nothing going on that's fine. I was just curious.

Oh, that... that kinda thing is... normal around here, believe it or not. [ She can't believe she's even saying this... ]

You'd think it's the alcohol that's makin' ya see things, but sadly... this is our reality.

[ Cue Peko swimming in the background, with a sword bag still around her. ]

I thought I would be surprised by that answer, but I'm actually not.

[Remember when she was nine years old and a talking ferret teaching her magic was the strangest thing possible? But you can never really take innocence back, can you?]

So, just to check, I'm not drunk when I say there's a sailor uniform around your waist, am I?

[ Somehow, that comment makes Senketsu more self-conscious than Ryuko. ]

It is, but you're probably still drunk, heh. I guess I'm just as nonsensical as these people, too...

[ Which she's okay with. Nonsensical is what she's all about. ]

It's far too early to be drunk!

[The giant cocktails they were serving were incredibly tasty though, so... Nanoha tried to recall if she ever learned a sobering spell. Maybe retooled healing magic? They were outside her speciality, but she could probably manage.]

Well, I'm sure that sailor uniform is important to you, but don't jump into the pool with it on!

[Nanoha was carrying around Raising Heart, and that was basically the same thing as Senkentsu even if she didn't know it. Except Raising Heart was a small inconspicuous gem and Senkentsu was an entire sailor suit, y'know, details.]

Huh, school uniforms, where had I heard that before? School uniforms... Goku uniforms? Do those ring a bell?

[ That's... a largely specific leap from school uniforms to Goku Uniforms. Ryuko is certain that this young woman has talked to Nonon at some point, but there's a part of Ryuko that's almost distrustful when a stranger randomly brings up the subject of Goku Uniforms. ]

Maybe.

[ She might as well check if her first instinct was correct: ]

Does Nonon Jakuzure ring a bell to you?

[Nanoha wouldn't normally have made the jump, but when she thought about what would cause somebody to bring something as unwieldy as a school uniform to the pool, the first conclusion she came to was security. Especially after a girl just swam past them carrying a sword. Nanoha herself didn't leave the house without Raising Heart. And well, she just had a talk with someone who went on about superpowered uniforms.]

Yup! She was the one who gave me the name 'Goku Uniforms.' We spoke on the CereVice briefly about how she wasn't a magical girl because of alien science.

[Then they went on a tangent about Nanoha's family and Nonon's dedication to Satsuki, but that was neither here nor there.]

I see... I guess that makes ya a friend of hers, then, huh?

Well, my name's Ryuko Matoi. We're from... well, the same "world", I suppose. [ It's still weird to be talking about different worlds like this, even after all this time. ]

I don't think she'd agree to that. We're not really friends yet, but I think we're on the way there!

[That was about the way to put it. Nonon reminded her of Vita a little bit, and Nanoha and Vita got along quite famously.]

Hello, Ryuko... [She looked the girl once over.] -chan, I'm Nanoha. Takamachi Nanoha, and I don't think you'd know anyone who lived on the same worlds I did.

The fact that you two had a substantial conversation about anything probably means that you are somewhere along the lines of friends, trust me. I of all people should know how... difficult she can be.

[ or perhaps ryuko is the problem. ]

Well, it's fine. Nonon hasn't tried to blast me yet, so I think on the whole we're hitting it off quite well!

[Although competing all out at least once was an important rite of friendship, so she'd welcome the blasting too.]

So, would you say you're good friends with her, then?

I know her well enough. [ She didn't exactly use the friend word here. ] That's all.

W-What's the deal with the blasting anyway..?

Hmm? Not much, I've just met many people over the years who would rather fire beams at people than talk to them. It's not that bad though, some of them are my closest friends now.

You just have to calm them down with a show of strength first! [She raises her arm to show her bicep as though that were anything like the show of strength she was talking about.

Well, she trained hard so there was something there, but it wasn't anything too impressive.]

[ How... endearing... ]

I dunno if that's how it normally works...

[ Says the violent girl?? ]

Lookin' back at my friends, though, maybe you're not wrong.

It really is! Even if you're not a fighter, you need to show you have to will!

[She pats her chest, seeming really proud of the bit of magical girl wisdom she'd just dropped.]

Take it as advice from someone with a few more years of experience!

Oh? Is that the same advice ya gave to Jakuzure, too? She already barks more than a pup.

I give the same advice to everyone! It's important to be honest, and if that means clashing sometimes then that's fine, too!

Girls everywhere, lay everything bare for the sake of love and friendship! [Nanoha wasn't drunk but to cocktail had definitely affected her.]

It's a figure of speech. I mean bare your heart, don't start stripping!

But Barrier Jackets do start disintegrating upon taking too much damage so maybe that works too...

I-I'm not gonna strip for love and friendship!! I'm practically naked enough as I am!

Eh? Well, let's keep it metaphorical, then?

[ You're at a pool though, practically naked is normal right? That's what Nanoha thought Ryuko was talking about, anyway. ]

If figuring out your differences means a big aerial battle with beams flying everywhere, even that's fine too! In fact, I encourage it! Your fighting moves say a lot about you!

[ Nanoha could very well be a grown up Mako. ]

Yeah, I think you've had too much to drink. Lemme refill that glass with some water.

I'm fine, a little cocktail won't get me down. I'm tougher than that!

[ But well, she doesn't actually resist. Water is fine too. ]

That's just how girls bond in my experience, getting to know each other by fighting, and fighting for the opportunity to know each other.
