Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.




And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

Water slides!

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto with hot tubs for secret rendezvous...

Lazy river!

Deliciously fruity cocktails from the swim-up bar that are known to be deceptively alcoholic...

Some local jerk has even brought food for people to eat, or you can eat at the snack bar!

Sunbathing!

Chicken fights!

And of course, swimming with friends!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

[ That name makes her stop moving for just a second, undoubtedly noticeable by the other girl. But Rei. She knows exactly who she is now. And it makes her feel... something that she can't quite describe. ]

...I know who you are then too. [ But she doesn't want to say much more than that, to say more would make her rethink those feelings inside of her and she very much would like to stay ignorant of those. ]

It's nice to meet you I guess. I hoe she didn't say anything too negative about me.

[It's noticed alright, and what's that going on inside? Is it confusion? Jealousy? Anger? It's definitely something strong.]

She did not, just that she was staying with you, that you were someone from home, and that she was hiding from someone else from your home.

Honestly, aside from your constant messages, she didn't say a lot about you good or bad. So...I'm only vaguely aware of you.

[Which is of course her way of probing for a reaction.]

[ Oh it's all of those. But it's not hatred or anything that bad, Nonon is inexperienced in liking anyone who isn't Satsuki, but she's not the type to go overboard with jealousy. She's just learning what it is for the first time. ]

That makes sense. [ Given the danger with Harime around, Nonon had told one or two close friends similar amounts of information to try to keep them safe too. ]

I-It wasn't constant... [ She definitely didn't expect that to come up. Her stomach tighten a little in embarrassment and anger... mostly at herself. She already apologized about that, unsure of where those feelings even came from at the time. ]

It was. [Rei's correction is gentle. She doesn't deal with tsun well, given that she's from a time before the trope became as omnipresent.] I do apologize for stealing her away for an evening, but we had some important things to talk about.

[ The way Rei apologizes to her sounds fake to her, and really, she doesn't know how to handle that kind of thing. ]

...I'm not Matoi's keeper. She can do whatever she wants. [ She lowers her sunglasses as if trying to hide herself a little, put up a few walls. ] I already told her that was stupid of me to do.

[It is totally fake. Rei's not really sorry at all, but she is also not a very nice person at times. This is her being bitchy without being a heinous jerkface.]

Well, it sounded like there was something serious going on? Someone else from your home causing trouble? Has that resolved? Are you both alright?

[This is sincere.]

Yeah, there's someone dangerous here. Nui Harime. If you see her just stay away, and especially don't make her mad. She's not human, and the only way to actually beat her is by our weapons.

[ At least she's pretty sure about that. Given that she's made of Life Fibers, you have to have Life Fiber cutting weapons to kill her, which Nonon and Ryuko have. ]

I thought she was fighting Harime without me, like an idiot.

[Rei simply smiles at that. She wasn't in the habit of getting into fights with or enraging strangers and if she was forced into it, Mars' holy flames had stricken down twisted beings in the past. She'd yet to encounter a being she couldn't burn with her divine magic, and that included gods. So, she feels a little less worried.]

You have a weapon? One of those outfits like Ryuko-chan's?

[shikisha]

[ Even if Rei could, Nonon already claimed Nui as her own target. While she might have killed Ryuko's dad, Nui belongs to the Elite Four, while Ragyo belongs to Satsuki and Ryuko. ]

..She told you about that? Yeah, I do. It's the strongest Goku Uniform in the world, or at least it was.

[Meaningless to Rei, especially if attacked...]

She told me about them, a bit. And that's nice...who's is stronger?

[Because this puffball? Sounds like she's just puffing herself up.]

...Her's is a Kamui, a God Robe. I hate to admit it, but Matoi is stronger.

[ She beat Nonon in the face before. She just REALLY hates to bring that up. ]

Why's it so important to you?

Your relative strengths aren't interesting to me in the slightest. Your ability to defend yourself and Ryuko-chan are, though. And if you had the second strongest and her the first, then your enemy logically should not trouble you.

[shikisha]

I can more than defend myself against her.

[ She scrunches her face a little though, those jealous feelings coming back slightly.. ]

...Why are you so worried about her?

Because I care about her?

[ As if it mattered? ]

She was one of the first people I met here. So, a while now.

[When you're a teenager, even 18, a few months feels like a long time.]

[ Nonon's been here a month herself, and yes, it most definitely feels like a long time, given how certain things have changed in that time. ]

I'm surprised she didn't mention you before. You're Japanese, right?

I'm from Tokyo, Asakusa specifically. What about you?

...The same. Tokyo. Minato. My family runs the biggest transportation company in the world, the Jakuzure Corporation.

I'm guessing you've never heard of REVOCS or Honnouji Academy though have you?

[Rei smiles and shakes her head.] Not the first, but I have heard of Honnouji Academy from Ryuko-chan.

I imagine it's much the same for you and Hikawa Shrine, T.A. Academy, or Chairman Takashi Hino.

[shikisha]

Yeah. I've met a lot of Japanese people here now, and they don't know either. I guess somehow our worlds really are separate.

[ It's hard to believe that they are all here now, together, but it's not worth thinking too hard about at the moment. ]

You seem pretty interested in our uniforms though. Do you have any kind of weapon yourself?

[faithfulflame]

[Rei shakes her head.]

Not like that. [Very, very different, but if you were expecting the rundown of Sailor Mars, you're not getting it. She doesn't know you.] I'm a miko, though, and I can do some strange things. Fortune telling, ESP, moving fire...spiritual things.

[shikisha]

[ Rude! Tit for tat! Or something. ]

A miko? ...I'm pretty sure miko don't usually have those kinds of magical abilities.

[You aren't guarding the secret to a 50,000 year old kingdom bra.]

No, they don't. I'm a little unusual. [And for emphasis, she holds a palm up flat, calling a flickering flame to life.] But I grew up with them.
