Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.




And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

Water slides!

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto with hot tubs for secret rendezvous...

Lazy river!

Deliciously fruity cocktails from the swim-up bar that are known to be deceptively alcoholic...

Some local jerk has even brought food for people to eat, or you can eat at the snack bar!

Sunbathing!

Chicken fights!

And of course, swimming with friends!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

[Kuzuryuu finally opens his eye and lifts his head up, fixing Gundam with a very serious look.]

I kicked you on purpose.

[So yes, there actually is an excuse!]

[He's just not sure how to take this. Because...why?? Why would he do that on purpose? He obviously wanted to win...

Did he do something wrong? Was that what the kick was for? But even then letting go would still be his fault?]

[The unspoken question of "why" is pretty heavily implied in his tone and expression.]

Yeah, I did. You were holding on too tight, and that was the only way I could think of to get you to loosen your grip enough for me to fall off.

[Implying he lost on purpose??? What a twist!]

[He'll get to the apology in a moment because what???]

I lost on purpose, not surrendered. [There's a difference!] Surrender would mean that I gave up, and that's not why I did it.

Lost. [Happy?] Why?

[Yes, very! Though less happy with that question, to be honest. There's another lengthy pause before he answers simply:]

Doesn't matter.

[hamham]

[Please excuse him for balking a little at that reply.]

Doesn't matter? That's preposterous. Saying such a thing does not convince me that you didn't simply give up.

[He's not excused.]

I had my reasons, alright? And they had nothing to do with giving up. Yakuzas don't give up or run away.

[Gundam please don't make him actually say that he was concerned for your and Nonon's well being, alright?]

Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko doesn't give up or run away. That much I've come to expect of you.

[Don't worry, he already knew that. The way he says it so plainly says that's an obvious answer. He's clearly still expecting an answer.]

Well if you know that much, then why are you pushing it? Knowing that it was neither of those things should be good enough for you.

[Are you prepared to pull teeth here, Gundam? Because he really doesn't want to talk about it.]

Is it not obvious? Your reasoning still matters.

[He's pretty much always ready to pull teeth if the argument is worth it. And this one is worth it because unfortunately Kuzuryuu you've crossed the threshold between "classmate/close acquaintance" into "potential friend" and he has a rather high opinion of you...]

While this may not have been my battle, I gave my word to assist you. You very clearly desired to win this match. You handed me an insult that I decided to let slide so I could prove my use to you and I put a lot of work into this to try and do so.

If you cannot even admit the reason for kicking me to force me to let you go so that we would lose, how exactly should I be regarding you after how you acted before the match?

I... dammit... [Weird strangled noise.] I was worried about Jakuzure. And you.

[It's half mumbled and he's distinctly not making eye contact but Gundam can probably pick out every word in spite of this.]

[Gundam does indeed catch everything and is quiet for a pause afterward.]

[For telling him, that is. And alright this is dumb, he's just going to join you in the tub okay? Slip into the water, hiss a little because that feels damn nice, yeah this is good. And, once inside, he continues:]

It pleases me to know my respect is not ill-placed.

[impheired]

[And now there's a blush to go with the lack of eye contact and gruff mumbles. Good job, Gundam.]

Don't be ridiculous...it's not a big deal.

Hmph. You should accept praise when it is given to you.

[Gundam do you have to cross your arms like that? Kuzuryuu can relax why can't you.]

The ability to deliver information to your followers or charges, especially pertaining to and in the face of losses, is the mark of a respectable leader. Granted this is hardly as large scale as a battle for supremacy between kingdoms, and therefore the loss does not have the same weight or impact, but a desirable trait and skill like that is still important to possess.

[Okay now he's leaning back a little, though not unfolding his arms any. Just regarding his classmate like that.]

What's more, that sound reasoning for our loss is also respectable.

[Okay, Gundam, that rapidly darkening pink tint to his cheeks? That's not because of the water temperature, you're definitely embarrassing him a little.]

I'm still sorry I couldn't figure out a better way to let you know what I was doing. Didn't really have a lot of time to think about it and kicking seemed like the fastest way.

[...there's the tiniest hint of conflict on his face, because really Kuzuryuu doesn't have to do that for him? But it's gone pretty quick, replaced with a nod.]
