[ Kashuu was right. It really was something that reminded him of that time back then. The days spent training and teaching. Their masters and the drama that would always pop up in those days. He'd never expect a group of people so hated and questioned would have ended up famous. ]
If Kondo was here, he'd have this all settled already.

[Sure, he practices at the gym here, but it's just not the same. He bounces in his seat a little, clearly excited by the idea of returning to something a little more familiar.]

[ He paused though, thinking about it and smiling a little more. He never thought about this before, but so many of them were together already, there was no reason not to think about it. ]

[He likes that part - having more allies. More is better, as far as he's concerned.
But the question seems to take him by surprise for a second, and it reflects in his expression as he leans back into his chair. Has he? Not really, if he were to be honest. He looks backwards so infrequently that he barely ever thinks about the way things were before, which includes speculation like this.]
Huh... I mean, maybe a couple times? [Earlier, back when he was running into versions of the old captains left and right...] But I guess I haven't thought about it too much.

[ He leaned back, thinking about it, and then sighed heavily. ]
Although I guess half of them would have issues being on a team with "the will of Kondo" again.
[ Maybe it was a good thing it was just them for now. Mutsu would probably also have an issue with my Shinsengumi weapons around. Thus he laughed and shook his head. ]
Maybe it's better those rowdy guys aren't around right now after all.

Yeah, well. We're all on the same team fighting for the same thing now, right? [Even though he knows it's more complicated than that, and that it's difficult to let some resentments go.]
S'not like we gotta worry about that right now, anyway. We can't even get back home.

[ It was hard enough for his master with just their group. He couldn't imagine trying to work all of the swords Haru's awakened. His eyes shifted over to Kashuu, noting his discomfort. All of the heavier stuff was after him, probably for good reason.
In the end he grinned, raising a brow.]

[It's partially his own big fat bias talking, but he really does have a lot of faith in their tiny master...

[Luckily Kashuu makes bank at his job, so footing the bill hadn't been a problem. He sure hasn't used it since that day, though.]

[ Swords don't get to choose who wields them, but he wouldn't oppose Haru anyway. Nagasone just had a duty to upkeep as a group leader himself.

[Granted, Kashuu could probably sing Haru's praises even if he was an unimpressive saniwa just because he's incredibly attached... But Haru's objectively good at what he does, so he doesn't think there's anything wrong with pointing that out.

I guess? I dunno. A bunch of other things broke that day too, and those ones weren't my fault. [JUST SO THEY'RE CLEAR. As far as technology goes, though...] Maaaybe. If it doesn't have to do with stuff in the kitchen, at least.

[ Or his way, at least. He knew Kashuu would be always in the saniwa's corner. Kashuu was kind and needy like that. It wasn't something Nagasone faulted him for. ]
Not with the kitchen, huh? Then how would you feed yourself? [ He mused, stroking his chin stubble. Sometimes it was amazing he was the younger of the two. The acknowledgement made him seem like a tryhard teenager who's peach fuzz was the best he could grow.]

[Waving a hand! That's just the way things are. Well, they're all basically in the same corner now, as far as he's concerned. That's the good thing about fighting on the same side.
It really is amazing that Kashuu's the older of them both, though... Especially since he kicks his feet out a little at that comment, much reminiscent of a distressed and peevish kid.]
I don't need to know how to use stuff in there to eat! That's why they make cereal or those poptart things or whatever. [For losers like him who can't even operate a microwave...] And if I reeeally need to learn something, I can just ask Haruji to teach me, so it's fine.

[ He laughed at Kashuu's plight. It wasn't much better with Nagasone, though. He was stuck getting take out and pushing himself for the healthiest options. Having to be concerned about food was strange, but he had gotten use to it. ]
If he does it for you, he does it. You wont learn that way. [ shrugging a little. ]

[A little huff! But okay, the only reason he's doing fine at all is because he eats Haru's food all the time and people are always giving him free meals...]
A-ny-way, it's not like I just dump stuff on him and ask him to do it for me. I watch! [He tries to learn!! The results are sometimes questionable, but an effort is being made...!]
