[ haru blinks. he's holding a laundry basket full of clothes, because frankly, he's pretty behind on the household chores after the last few days, and if not for kashuu earlier, he'd have really forgotten about valentine's.

he hesitates, then sets the basket down, accepting the bag with a warm glance. ]

You made them for me? [ he's both flattered and flustered. he should've done something for today, he's now realizing, especially since some of his swords had discovered it. ]

[Sayo nods, looking down at the remaining bags a little shyly. Since it's Haru, his bag would hold a little more chocolates (both heart and star shaped) compared to everyone else, as well as his best possible chocolates. Only his brothers got the same biased treatment. They're not the best chocolates, Mitsutada would likely have made better ones, but Sayo is nervously proud of his efforts.]

Yes... Valentine's is for giving to people important to you... [So he made some for Haru and everyone.]

[ cutest revenge-tantou.. haru never quite smiles, but his whole face does warm fondly. ]

Thank you, Sayo-kun. We'll have to share them, then. [ but then his expression falls a little. ] I'm sorry, I didn't really do anything.. I don't normally celebrate the holiday. But I'll make it up to you, I promise.

[ he shifts closer, curling his arms around the spirit in a brief, affectionate hug. ]

[There's something like a smile on his face? It's small, but there. He's happy that Haru is happy to receive his chocolates. Which would leave how they taste... Sayo taste tested them and his batch seemed okay. But would they fit Haru's tastes?

He raise his arms and hug Haru back.]

You didn't have to do anything... [He wasn't expecting anything in return. But a selfish part of him kind of wants to.] I just hope the chocolates taste good.
