He pulls the jacket a little closer around himself and proceeds to completely ignore the question asked in favor of asking his own.]

But in response to Kashuu's overall awkwardness and hesitance, Sousei is brisk and straightforward. For once, he's not going to interrogate him, isn't that nice!!

But that's in part because he imagines he doesn't really need to. He can think for himself what would make a normally cheerful sword who went back home to a war more morose for a time.]
