Athena had signed her up for this event so suddenly that Ai was at a loss on what to actually do. What was there to talk about? What if the other half of this date didn't like her or found her boring??? In fact, why was this esper so worried and nervous about a date compared to the many missions she was sent on back in her world which were way more dangerous and life threatening???
Even so, Ai Thao feels like she should try her best to have a good time, regardless of who she was paired up with. After all, a blind date wasn't a guarantee of... whatever happens after it becomes legit. So Ai will be waiting in front of the froyo place, dressed up neatly, shyly running her hand through her hair as she glances at her device every once and a while.]

So, not long after Ai arrives at Froyo, Edgeworth does the same, clad in his usual suit and cravat, bringing nothing, not even a single rose, since he was doing this more out of obligation than anything. The badge is pinned to his lapel...a blue badge. At least it stands out from his wine-red ensemble. He is quick to notice the same badge worn by a young woman outside Froyo...ah. He approaches her tentatively, eyes flicking from one side to another as if checking that yes, she would be his "date" for today.]
Good morning, Miss Ai Thao. [He settles for greeting her properly first - formally, a touch stiltedly.] I'm Miles Edgeworth. [The badge says as much - okay, it just says "Mr. Edgeworth" - but he thinks it's more polite to do the introduction than to let the badge say it all.]

[Ai realizes that she might be looking too tentative so she gives a smile and a small bow of her head towards her date.]
I'm glad we could both make it! I was afraid this would seem like too much trouble at first.

[Despite that thought, he bows elegantly. He's also glad he made it (sort of) because the date waiting for him is this well-mannered young woman. It could have been worse. At least if he has to endure this ordeal, it would be bearable instead of intolerable.]

Ah, we should serve ourselves some yogurt and then take a seat.
[She pauses before starting to go over to the machines, looking at Edgeworth curiously.]
Although, I have to wonder, do you like sweets and desserts??

Still, he does walk over to the machines, his curiosity piqued. Edgeworth has to admit, he's beginning to feel peckish. When Ai speaks, however, he looks over to her, maintaining eye contact with her rather than the dispensers.]
In moderation. It's good to see there are healthier options, as well. [His gaze sweeps over the fruit and nuts. And dark chocolate had the most nutritional value out of all the types of chocolate.]

Health is a good thing to think about! I think that food that's healthy, delicious, and makes you feel good is important.
[... And then she proceeds to take two cups for herself, filling them with yogurt and... Well, she creates two hefty servings. Does someone here not know what moderation is...?]

Oh. Ohhhh. They're both for her. And they're both rather large servings. He blinks, but averts his eyes so he doesn't embarrass her or come off as rude by staring. As for him, he opts for plain vanilla yogurt with strawberries, nuts and blueberries.]
Indeed. [It's also important to watch your serving size...] Shall we find a table?

There were just so many options, it was hard to limit myself with all the toppings! But everything looks delicious.
