a: tech & auto shop (semi-open)
[ he's been feeling really tired and sickly lately, but thankfully, a bunch of aspirins and orange juice, as well as some tea has been keeping him going. a few days after things get back to normal, he sends a message to some people who expressed interest in the app he came up with, saying that they can meet up now if they're available. if he hasn't sent the address yet, then he'll tell them to come to the tech and auto shop, and even attaches a map with it. what a nice guy this tadashi hamada is.
with him in his workshop is a miniature st. bernard cybuddy. when the doors slide open upon somebody arriving, it's the first thing that will welcome the person. at least the dog just talks, and doesn't bite! ]
Hello, hello! Welcome to Tadashi's workshop!
[ the dog sniffs at the shoes of tadashi's visitor as the roboticist himself gets up from his seat, approaching the door. ]
Hey. Good to see you, [ and he offers a hand to shake if he hasn't met the person yet before gesturing to a wheelie chair nearby. ] Have a seat.
[ though if this isn't the first time he's met this person, he'll just gesture to the seat right away, telling them to take a seat while he gets his laptop. ]
b: shopping district (late morning)
Demo, I really don't have time for this right now, [ tadashi says, looking pretty exhausted. he's carrying some bags with him - groceries - which he wants to put down on a counter soon since it's getting heavier by the second. not to mention, he probably should get some rest. working while being sick isn't fun at all, so getting home is a priority.
too bad his cybuddy doesn't seem to agree with him. the dog is barking at an alleyway that probably connects to a deadend. tadashi said he has no time for it, so he isn't even checking it out. ]
But Tadashi, there's something out there! [ the dog responds loudly before barking at the alleyway again. fun… and a talking dog might be weird for some people passing by. they probably haven't met the demo the dog before, or heard of tadashi's incoming line of cybuddies yet. ]
c: residential district + wildcard (post-baseball plot)
[ the day after his excursion with demo, he decides not to bring the dog out shopping again any time soon. having to put him in sleep mode wasn't fun, since he's supposed to have configured demo to work properly. he didn't see any signs of any glitching either, when he checked on his cybuddy's software after getting home… (cybuddies are officially troublesome.)
now, he's on his way to work again, though he's running a bit late. it's just a few hours into the afternoon since he woke up at lunchtime not feeling rejuvenated at all. his limbs are also sore from all the baseball he played the day before. he probably looks sick to someone who can sees him and the cybuddy walking around, so feel free to tell him to go back home and get some rest.
during the evening, he can be found walking back to his apartment looking like he needs a lot of sleep, too. he's sent his cybuddy to go home ahead of him, so he's just alone. though when he receives a text, he takes a seat on a nearby bench by one of the apartments before answering… and ultimately passing out.
feel free to draw on his face, or be a good person and wake him up. ]
B
Then he spots how tired Tadashi looks and slows down in slight concern. It looks like the bag the older guy is carrying has twenty bricks in it.
What the Cybuddy says definitely gets his attention, though, and he stops.] Tadashi...? Do you want some help...? [He offers it tentatively.] You don't look so good.

[Sai had a hard enough time interacting with people on a normal basis, but this? It's worlds out of his technical league, so when it greets him with that line Sai simply stares at it. Was it a summons? Like Kakashi's dogs? For a second he's grateful he knows enough about animal contracts to finally kick him out of his stupor and get him talking.]
Ah-- Hello.
[He bows at the waist.]
Are you Tadashi-kun's summons?

Sayo blinked and looked at the dog, before he turned his gaze up to see Tadashi approaching him.]
Hi, Tadashi-san.
[After seeing the seat, Sayo went over and get on it. He place Kashuu on his lap before he looks around, seeing what's in this room.]

Good to see you all solid again. [She returns his greeting with a casual smile. For some reason, she's been practically bursting with energy for the last day or so--not that she minds. It means more energy to explore the colony, to train at the gym...you get the picture.]
Maybe I should get you some pizza while you're working, now that you can actually eat it this time.

a!
it doesn't stop him from giving the dog a small, friendly wave as he diffidently steps inside the workshop, however. ]
Oh, hello! I'm very happy to be here.
[ seating himself in the proffered rolly chair, he cursorily hands off his cerevice to tadashi while peering back at demo roving around them. ]
Your CYBuddy talks, huh? I didn't know they could do that.
[ makoto's had his calico cat for a while, so he figures he'd catch on eventually if coherent words instead of (obscenely cute) mewling came into the equation. ]

B!
So it is you! Good morning, Tadashi. [ Her hands move to the front of her, leaning slightly forward just a little in greeting before she catches sight and sound of the strange little ..dog? at the moment it's doing certainly a lot of barking- though she's aware that while most human can't see Seraphim like herself, animals certainly can.
though, this dog in particular is a bit too strange looking- ] A friend of yours? Though it doesn't look like a normal kind of dog-- this wouldn't happen to be one of your inventions, is it?! [ A.. man-made dog?! ]

For now though, he had an appointment to take care of.
When he entered the workshop, William paused at the dog and blinked. He was used to seeing the cybuddies around, but they still caught attention, much as most automatons did.
He quickly turned his attention away though when greeted.]
You are Tadashi then?
[He took the seat offered to him, looking at his host carefully. He seemed tired, though William had only spoken with him briefly, so for all he knew, this was how the man always looked.]
If this is a bad time, I can come back later.

Who is apparently not cooperating. Curiosity gets the better of him and he and his own bag of supplies stop and turn to take a closer look.] Is everything okay?
[An apologetic smile, like he's sure he's interrupting something, just approaching a stranger like this.] Your dog seems pretty determined. [A pause.] Also it talks.

In fact, it actually made her worried knowing that anything can and could happen so suddenly. Although, that didn't stop Anna from poking him. At first, she thought trying to poke him would wake him up. However...]
Hey, wake up! My hands are getting tired just from trying to wake you up! [She was joking but she was starting to get a little worried he might not wake up anytime soon]

He hasn't found any today, but he did find his older brother passed out on a bench. There's a loud sigh, a mumble of "unbelievable" under his breath before he looks up at Baymax.]
Go ahead and grab him. We should probably get him out of here. [Sorry, Tadashi, you will soon find yourself being picked up and cradled into a warm, squishy hold as Hiro starts leading them back to Tadashi's place.]

I'm sorry. ANYWAY.]

he nearly loses said pizza to the floor when he's startled by the huge talking dog that approaches him. you'd think he'd have gotten used to shit like this after a fair bit of time in tellus, but things just keep getting weirder and weirder. ]
Right. Hey.
[ the greeting is directed first towards the dog - seriously, what the hell - and then at tadashi, who will now receive an armful of a pizza box. ]
Came to get that upgrade you promised. [ he finally manages to tear eyes away from the dog, refocusing on tadashi. ] Hope you like pepperoni.
