Today is the big day to put your mouth where your money is! Or something like that. Welcome to the first ever (??) Charity Event! Remember that it isn’t about winning, it’s about making the world you’re in now a better place until you leave!

Signups are still a thing, so hop on in! Spectators are welcomed! Voting for events will be hosted in this post, where comments will be screened.

Us? My name is Takeru and this is Patamon!

[He said before pointing to said flying animal sitting on his head. And with that, he gave his hand out to him]

Then...do you want to be called Arthur-san or Kirkland-san? Although, it seems bit rude to call you Arthur-san even though we just met...

Ah, Japanese honorifics. [hm] Then I suppose Kirkland-san would be most appropriate. But I really don't mind, if you're more comfortable with the other.

Then maybe I'll call you Kirkland-san? It makes it easier and it rhymes don't you think?

[He said with a chuckle] But I'm don't mind whichever one I call you, I just don't to be rude to a grown up!

All right then, Kirkland-san it is! But you can just call me Takeru though!

[And then Patamon spoke up as he lifted one of his arms up in the air!] And you can call me Patamon! You did a really great job up on stage there!

[even more cute! England is pleasantly surprised that the little animal can talk. wow! Patamon makes him homesick for his fairy friend, though]

Thank you very much, Patamon. [his grin settles down some, so that he is smiling softly] Are you two new to Cerealia? I haven't seen you around the colony.

Mhmm, the both of us are, we just arrived here a while ago! But I've been having a lot of fun and a lot of people here are really nice!

But it is a lot to get use to! I'm not use to living by myself though!

[He said before looking up at his Digimon partner] It's just been the both of us but I know I have be a grown up pretty soon since my friends aren't here though!

You... don't have to grow up that fast. Even though your friends aren't here, you can always ask some of us for help. Most of the people I've met here are extremely reliable, as well as kind.

Oh, I know! A lot of people helped me when I was stuck on that tree when I first arrived but I don't want them to worry about me!

It seems like they have a lot on their mind with all this stuff about aliens and whatever the people in charge are doing. I don't want to bother them!

[He's just being polite!! Takeru just looked at him dumbfounded. While he had spent a good portion of time here, he never seen anyone being so...insistent on helping him!

[it's so embarrassing, especially after England just put on that show of confidence. at least he manages to get himself back under control, but there is still a faint blush on his cheeks]

I-It's definitely okay to ask for help. If you need me, I will be around. But... [he becomes serious again as he looks at Takeru] Will you be all right living by yourself?

Yeah, I think so! I don't think it would be too hard, I just need to do what mom does! Like clean the house and buy a lot of food too! But I think I might need to learn how to cook or something.

I tell you what, if you ever want a home-cooked meal, or even cooking lessons, you can count on me. [England's already pulling out his notepad, so that he can write his new address on it. he's pretty sure Edgeworth won't mind... right?]

[Now that his friends and parents weren't here, he needed to do triple the work now!]

Are you sure? I would like cooking lessons a lot and some food from you too but it seems like a lot of work!

[he even wrote Kirkland-san, in katakana and hiragana on the top! after that, he rips the paper free from the notepad and hands it to Takeru] And don't worry about the work. Cooking can be easy once you know what you're doing. I'm certain a bright young man like yourself will be able to pick up a few easy recipes in no time.

[but you shouldn't have to, England wants to say. but... he can't just come out and tell Takeru to stay with him and Edgeworth. it might sound weird! they just met, after all. still, England is concerned about all these kids being brought to Cerealia and forced to live alone]
