[sure, Zoro gave it about a day for everyone to settle back in, after they all returned home, but then he made good on his promise to drop by swordhaus more often. He hadn't seen a single one of the swords while in that place, mostly on account of wandering way too much and never sitting still, but he assumed at least some of them were probably there and decided he ought to check to see if any of them needed repairs or a good polishing. He did promise to help take some of the load off Haru, after all.

He'll be by the day after everyone returns, but if any swords are demanifested and sleeping, he'll be back again in a few days. The second time, he's got the last of Tenka's best sake with him. All things considered, some of them - even Haru himself - might need a drink.]

[Kashuu isn't demanifested the first time, but he's not really spending as much time around the apartment as he usually does, either - so it's the second visit that he catches Zoro.]

Oh— hey!

[Nothing seems too amiss here either, really. He's had a little time to process things and calm down and put some distance between himself and the dark area.]

[just setting the bottle down over here. Just in case any swords need a drink. He doesn't know a thing of their rough time, sadly]

[Kashuu, at least, won't be partaking in any this time. Probably not a surprise considering how much he didn't drink the last time they were at a bar together.]

They're— [A beat as he rolls a few words around in his mind before finally settling with:] Better. How about you?

Fine, can't really complain. You sure? I'm guessing you were all out in that damn ruined place, too...

Yeah, we were. I don't think any of us got left behind here.

[Which is a damn shame, since there are swords in their number who really could have used the break and none of the heartache that came with everything in that dark part of the city.]

Huh. Did anybody? I mean, I kept an eye out for everyone but it was tough to find anybody in that mess. I didn't see you guys, or I'd have stuck closer.

I heard there were some people who didn't get pulled over, yeah. It sounds like it was way less common, though... I dunno if any of them stayed for a reason or not, either.

[Everything is always too complicated for him, ugh...]

Anyway, the phones worked over there, but I don't think a lot of people had 'em since it was nighttime when we were taken.

Hadn't thought of that. [he was awake. He's always awake at midnight.] They didn't work so well but yeah, there was that. Just when you think this place can't get any crazier...

As long as you guys are all right, though. I stopped in to see if anyone needed a good sharpening or cleaning.

[She was coming to visit just as Zoro was, so she quickly calls out to him as she steps out of the elevator.] Zoro!

Yeah, why - is this a bad time or something? I just thought I'd check up, see if any of 'em were in that place.

[hoasen]

[She quickly waves her hands.] I think it might be a good time for them to have company. What about you, did you end up in that strange dark zone?

[yourotherleft]

Yeah, but it wasn't too bad. [SO LIGHT compared to everyone else. No trauma here, not even the evasiveness of someone who doesn't want to talk about it.] I had a hard time getting back to the surface after I went back down for meat but eh. I survived, that's all that matters.

[hoasen]

[She totally gets it. Considering that she also got over most of her problems in the past, it's not something she often worries about. She worries more about the others here. Which is why she looks so relieved when Zoro got off lightly.]

Thank goodness. As long as you are fine and well, yes, that's all that matters.

Pretty much. [which eases his mind, too, he even smiles a bit] You look none the worse for wear, yourself.

[You know, Zoro comes around often enough, and yet Nakigitsune's never really talked to him. Partly because he rarely ever talks in the first place, but.

But not today! No, the day after everyone returns is a day in which most of the rest of swordhaus is varying levels of Tired, and so Nakigitsune, as one of the few to have come out of that mess with no particularly traumatic experiences to speak of, is.....well, he was watching TV actually. But he's gotta be polite when the others aren't there to do it!]

Ah, hello! It's very kind of you to visit, though there aren't many of us available to speak today...

Well, not everybody, exactly, but...

[Nakigitsune and his shoulderfox both glance towards the closed door of one of the bedrooms.]

They're resting.

Oh. Shit. Uh. [thumbs over his shoulder toward the door] I can come back later. I just wanted to see if anyone needed sharpening or polishing.

[yaayaa]

[That gets a curious look.] Oh, really? That's very kind of you! Many of us are in need of varying levels of repair, it's true...

[Naki glances at the door, back to Zoro, back to whichever room Haru's in, back to Zoro again--]

Ah. Since you're already here, perhaps we could find some snacks for you? Our master probably wouldn't turn you away so soon after you'd arrived, and--maybe someone will come out, eventually.

[blinks at the fox. Fox, why so cute?

No, no. Shaking it off and focusing. I mean it's not like it's the strangest thing he's ever seen.]

Figured you would, if any of you guys were fighting as much as I was. [shrug] Sure, I guess I can hang around a bit in case someone wakes up. Whatcha got?

Yes, that last adventure was quite dangerous...did you face off against those strange machine creatures as well?

[The fox is perfectly normal! As is the guy it's riding on! Speaking of which, Nakigitsune turns to go ransack the kitchen.]

Nakigitsune bought some fruit candies the other day, and we usually have a variety of chips somewhere--ah, there they are!

[Cheese, barbecue, ketchup, seafood, wasabi, peking duck...truly a treasure trove of flavors. Naki pulls a few bags out of the cupboard and dumps them on the table. (This is how you entertain guests, right?)]

[whoa check out the chips! Zoro has never even conceived of these flavors, this is like heaven. He goes for the wasabi ones.]

Thanks. Yeah, I couldn't walk two feet in that rubble yard without having one pop up behind me. It was a good workout but it got boring after a while, having them just regenerate like that.
