What: PARTY TIME. Well, a party so Rin can actually make friends since she secretly complains about not having any!

[Cooking for a large amount of people is what Archer was all about. Might as well call him the Chef Heroic Spirit instead of the Blacksmith Heroic Spirit. This guy was a complete pro in the kitchen and completely without complaint!

Tons of food, cake, and nachos and cheese and salsa (don't ask). Serving it was left up to Saber since she was still probably under punishment. Either way, she had to make up for her issues in some way!

So for everyone here, they just had to chill out and wait for Rin to return home. Which should be shortly if she's not trying to be an absolute brat. Which, admittedly, happens sometimes.]

[Ai Thao Kha appears at the apartment, neatly dressed. She's feeling jittery, but also strangely filled with something that could be called anticipation. Ever since Archer gave her the invitation, she went over what she could say to other people she would meet at the party, conversing in a way that wouldn't make her trip over her own words.

She's probably making this too big of a deal, but to her, an event where she isn't being carefully watched and curated by other espers is new and no less nerve wrecking. Ai hopes she'll be able to make the most of this gathering.

... Right now she resorts to eating cake. Because cake can give one courage when all else fails.]

... Goodness. For someone who speaks harshly, his cooking is really good...

What a backhanded compliment. I would think honesty is a wanted quality in a world full of fake smiles.

To be fair, it's not as if I haven't displayed some sort of foolishness, so I might have deserved it...

But you know, he must be the kind of person whose words and actions don't always match up.

[Ai's just slowly enjoying the cake. Can't be rude by stuffing herself silly like the first time with the buffet.]

Oh, not at all. I arrived here with the last group. Needless to say, it was quite overwhelming especially when they explained the situation in such a mundane way.

[ Rin's not very good at sneaking around, but maybe Ai's a bit too distracted by the taste to notice that someone was listening to her? Popping out of nowhere, she stares her down with an intimidating glare. ]

Um. Well, he's harsh, but he's the type that means well right? And he said this party was for his Master, so surely his intentions are good...

... I think I can understand. But I think it takes more than just being around people to cause unhappiness. I can't say I'm in my element either... But I was happy when I was invited over.

[This girl had what Ai personally is seeing as a domineering personality and she's not sure whether she should be cowed or tough it out. Probably, it's better to do the latter because Ai Thao is wondering what the intention behind the questions are.... Oh!]

Well. For one thing, I'm new here! I arrived not too long ago and there's no one from my world I'd be able to stick closely to. And even if I did... [She trails off, not wanting to get too deep into the fact that she felt shackled at times back where she was from...]

Er. Anyhow! I'm rather inexperienced when it comes to these sort of matters, but having the opportunity to meet all sorts of people and shape my own view is a blessing in a way.

No one here is from my world either--well, at least my time. It doesn't count to see people from an alternate past that's not your own. In fact, it just makes it even lonelier because you have this connection with someone, but it's not the same so you're uncertain of how to proceed with it.

Anyway I don't intend to out-pathetic you with my own weepy sob story, Ai. I'm Rin Tohsaka, the Master of Archer and Saber both. I'd welcome you, but as it's been predetermined that none of this is welcomed in the first place, you'll just have to make do with this introduction.
