![]() It's morning when the lights go out completely. Not a single one remains on except the glow of the device and whatever flashlights anyone bothered to stock up on. However, a single hologram in the Shopping District broadcasts along a billboard for a Very Important Announcement. After that, you hear a song so tender and beautiful that it must have been composed by angels at the dawn of time. "Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed… " When you go outside to investigate, a friendly clown will be inside a stolen(?) ice cream truck, looking to get all your attention before he talks through the speaker on the truck.

Welcome to CEREALIA's fourth official event. For your convenience, we have compiled an OOC post explaining the event in greater detail. Feel free to ask questions there if you have anymore lingering concerns or inquiries. |

[SO THERE.]
Let's go get tea.
[He's finished mopping up the rest of the soda, so...]
no subject
Hand me a towel first.
[Because Sousei cleaned the couch but Tenka still got sprayed a bit by the soda.]
no subject
There you go.
And then heads back to put his boots back on for real this time.]
no subject
He's probably done before Sousei.
... honestly-]
The one Western thing I'm not excited for is that the clothes are so hard to put on.
no subject
Since otherwise they're stuck wearing what they've got.
Which is a uniform, for Sousei. Hm. But he doesn't really want to. Still, they won't have a choice. He stands, tilting his head.]
It isn't convenient, though I suppose we'll adapt.
no subject
So we're getting food and clothes?
[#domestic]
no subject
...Likely for the better, yes. It isn't as if we're lacking in funds currently.
[OFF THEY GO?
there will probably be signs of battle and exhausted people everywhere. How irritating.]
no subject
[Yeah, he trusts Sousei to keep track of the funds, what of it.
They both have jobs, were given extra funds back from being caught up in the initial fiasco with the assassin robots, and Tenka got even more money because he decided to help out the local Cerealian prince.
Because he's Tenka.
But yeah apparently they're going to do their weird shopping trip thing. ... What do they even buy to eat?]
no subject
but he's definitely keeping track, and it's definitely plenty of money. Way more than either of them could ever use, really....]
We should start with clothing. [Food could go bad... since they only buy fresh things unless tenka is feeling adventurous.]
no subject
[We're going to pretend that it is a lot. And Tenka's honestly... rather floored by this.]
Haaa, I wish Soramaru were here. He'd be glad to hear that we're not scraping by every month for once.
[Though it's probably not the first time he mentioned his brother and wished he was here. It's probably not the last time either. Either way, he's shrugging.]
Sounds good to me.
no subject
He certainly doesn't wish them here.]
Perhaps you can make changes to your lifestyle to reflect this. [FIX IT WHEN YOU GET BACK.]
no subject
[Of course, now he realizes how dumb that decision sounds.
.... though to be honest he'd probably still do it if it happened to him when they got home.]
no subject
[don't be stupid, tenka.
also, they're just...trouble.]
no subject
[If he never has to see another government-ordained doctor again, it'd be too soon.]
no subject
Perhaps you will get your wish.
There will be plenty for them to concern themselves with anyway.
no subject
If they call you for a meeting, I'll walk you to the door but I'm not stepping a foot inside one of their fancy parties again.
But hopefully they won't need either of us for a while.
no subject
I don't need an escort to return to Tokyo.
[Even if he gets in trouble, he can take it.
But it's kind of entertaining (and nice???) that Tenka would offer.]
no subject
I just want to see Tokyo!
[no he probably meant it in the nice way
but this is a decent enough recovery, he thinks]
no subject
Is that so.
[he knows you better than that, but sure.]
You would be more trouble than good at one of those meetings anyway.
no subject
At least it's true that he wants to see Tokyo. But honestly...]
You're telling me. Everyone's so stuffy and they never totally say what they really mean.
I'm really not cut out for that sort of thing.
[he's the worst family head ever. or possibly the best, depending on how you look at it]
no subject
...Hm.]
You aren't. [/blunt]
So there isn't any need to involve yourself further.
no subject
Like, that's super rude.
.... but honestly-]
But I want to see Tokyo!! It'll be the first stop on an all over Japan trip!
[he wasn't kidding]
no subject
A trip...?
[it's not a terrible idea, he supposes.]
Tokyo is hardly a good place to start.
no subject
[One that he came up with later, after the Yamainu had left. Because he had time and he had aspirations. Even though he knew his life wouldn't be long, he entertained fantasies of what it could be.]
But yeah? Where would you recommend then, oh so worldly Yamainu-san?
no subject
Well, his dreams are infectious as always, and the Yamainu won't last forever.
Maybe he should simply be happy for him.]
I just think you should save some places for last.
[Come visit him after the fact, loser.]
