[All right, so it's a few days later than intended, but when the night that you plan a party just completely disappears into a mess of mayhem and murderous Santas, well, you improvise. At least, that's been Komaeda's plan. After making sure to let everyone know about the rescheduling, it's just a matter of coordinating.

So here it is. Here they are.

The decorations -- courtesy of Souda -- are up: streamers, balloons, matching party hats all in varying shades of red, black and white. They're draped around the small apartment along with what is probably an oversupply of party poppers. The food is set out in the kitchen and most everywhere else.

There's even a punchbowl that's probably not spiked yet, but how long can that really last anyway? Music -- somewhat questionable in some of its variety -- plays quietly in the background. And outside the apartment, up on the roof of the building for later, the yakuza have provided some festive explosives fireworks.

Perfect night for a party. And Hinata's the kind of guy who deserves a good party. Right? Right. Only rules are: no murdering anyone and have some fun.]

[He shrugs, pocketing the lighter again once Gundam's done with it. Even if he'll probably just have to get it out again when that sparkler goes out...]

Hinata said it was something he thought would be fun for all of us to do together. [And, more importantly, something they would all enjoy and probably wouldn't get into arguments over...] So it seemed like the perfect thing to do.

[He cheated a little at his birthday party assignment. Just a little.]

[He probably will. Maybe he'll keep it out after he has to light the second sparkler.

Okay, so he was right in thinking this wasn't typical for parties. Good to know. He nods though, because Hinata was not wrong. And Kuzuryuu wasn't wrong in suggesting it. Even if he did cheat jeez!]

It's hardly a surprise that Hinata was correct in this assumption.

[Though it kind of makes him wish the rest of their class was here too but alas.]

[If you cheat and nobody catches you, can it really be considered cheating? No okay, yes, it can and even Kuzuryuu would agree about that, but this is different. This was more like...taking advantage of a golden opportunity. That's an okay kind of cheating.]

Yeah. He had a couple of other suggestions that weren't half bad, but none of them were really birthday party material. Or well...one of them was, I guess, but like hell are we playing something like truth or dare with this group.

[He might have glanced over at wherever Hanamura is at the moment when he said that. "This group," "Hanamura". Tomato, tomahto.]

[Yeah. Yeah the look on his face says truth or dare would have been horrible, he agrees. Though he's giving Souda a glance rather than Hanamura, but the chef equally deserves one here.]

Birthday party activities...I don't believe I could come up with anything that would be entertaining myself. Nor would I have thought to ask Hinata. It's good you were assigned such a task.

[Hell even normal party activities escape him. Food and music...that's all that's really necessary for a party, right?]
