Just a fool in love

Where: Hirari & Botan's apartment and then where ever they go.
What: Hirari wants to take Botan out on a date.

[Botan had began to fall into her own sort of daily tasks in this world. She worked every now and then, when she was needed, then she would come home and look after things around the house. Hirari was always in and out but for the most part he stayed close to her, something she didn't mind at all. Besides that she would visit the Kumou family and occasionally invite Kagemitsu and Poko over. Beyond the weird happens every now and then life here was pretty easy going, different in some ways from home of course but nothing bad either.

Having a free day she focuses on doing a little of her laundry as she waits for Hirari to come home. Looking to the clock she moves somethings into the washing machine before she turns it on. It was a rather helpful device. With that done she moves into the living room and sits down to have tea when she hears the door click.]

I love you too. [ He gives her a sweet kiss on the cheek. ] I love you a lot.

I'm thankful you know how to work some of the things here...I might have been more confused without you.

[Not to mention lonelier. Kagemitsu was there and she knew she could depend on him for anything but that was a sibling like love.

His kiss to her cheek causes her to blush before jabbing his side softly.]

Hirari-dono. [She was still growing accustom to things like public displays of affection.]

What is the name of this restaurant?

Good thing I came here to prepare myself for you joining me then.

[ What? It couldn't be that embarrassing, could it?

If Kagemitsu was like a brother to Botan, that makes sense. Younger brothers are extremely annoying. ]

It is a good thing, though I'm sorry if you were here alone at any point.

[She didn't want him or Kagemitsu to be alone...not anyone that she care for. This place was really overwhelming at times.

They could be but she loves him all the same.]

Oh, then I will trust you to take us there. The food should be interesting.

Well, I haven't been completely on my own. Kagemitsu came here the same time I did.

[ He might be annoying, but they're still some kind of weird friends. Somehow. Sort of. Maybe. ]

I hope it's good. I've never had it before.

[ And he would feel bad if Botan didn't like it. ]

[There's relief in her voice when she hears that. Still the two of them left alone to when she left, she felt guilty at times. That was something to put from her mind for now though.]

I'm sure it will be...plus we will be enjoying it together right?

[That was what mattered to her. As they came up on some restaurant she looks curious at them, wondering which one it was.]

[ Well, whatever happened after she left, she can rest assured that Kagemitsu survived the battle with the Ashiya. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to get descendants. As for himself, he's not sure. Sousei existed, but he seemed to be of actual Abe blood, unlike him. And Hirari was never going to have children with a woman that wasn't Botan.]

Yeah. Anything with you is a good mean.

[ He brings her toward one of them. ]

We're here.

[She's sure that Kagemitsu settled down with someone and had children, he would be a good father. For Hirari she did have to wonder the same was sure he was set on her and wouldn't have children. Though she does wonder if she can make him happy in that sense? She doesn't know if the ability of a shikigami to have children was even possible?]

You're too much sometimes.

[In his embrace she blushes but accepts it.]

Oh, then we should go in.

[ If she doesn't, he'll be happy with taking in kids who are without family. He had been like that, though he had been unfortunate and taken in by a family that shouldn't be allowed to take anyone in.

He wouldn't let anymore poor children be treated badly by the Abe. And what better way than give them a real loving family. He knew there was more than blood to a family. ]

[ Was it something he said? What part of it? ]

[ Here goes. And the smell of food hits them as soon as the door opens. ]

[If they adopted she would be happy...she does enjoy the children she teaches back home. They were a joy to be around that much was for sure. Hirari would be an amazing father as well, she was sure he would spoil them all too much.]

You're just too good to me, silly man.

[She was honest as ever with that.]

Aha.

[Chuckling she follows him in. Inside it looks like an interesting sort of restaurant. The food does smell amazing though.]

[ He would. He would give them all the love he didn't have growing up, and more. ]

You deserve the best.

[ He might not be the best of man, but for her he would try. He wanted nothing more than to make her happy. ]

Wow.

[ It really does smell amazing. ]

[Their house would be a warm and loving one.]

[She playfully looks to the side before she glances back at him.]

We should get a seat, it smells very good.

[ Of course. They would give the Kumous a run for their money on the loving thing. ]

There's no too much when it's you.

[ Right. He leads her to a table with two chairs, a little bit toward the kitchen where it's warmer. ]

Think here'll be good?

[There was that though she would consider Kagemitsu an uncle to any child they adopted. That was, however, talk for the future they weren't even married or the such.]

Hirari-dono.

[She says his name with a smile. Following again looks at the table and then nods.]

Yes, this is fine.

[ But that would make Kagemitsu his inlaw! Well, if it's for Botan's sake...

He's read a little bit about how you're supposed to act on a date, though he doesn't know it's a bit out of date. So he pulls her chair for her. ]

My love.

[ Will you allow him? He's trying to follow the rules of modern dating, and it said that that's a romantic gesture. ]

[Sorry, you are not getting out of that Hirari.

Watching him pull the seat out she looks to him then to the chair. He has really been studying this hasn't he? Smiling she takes a seat before watching to see what he will do next. This was all very new.]

[ Aw damn it. But think of all the bickering!

He isn't sure where exactly he's supposed to sit measured from her, but he won't be able to hold her hand and eat at the same time, so he settles for next to her instead of opposite. He smiles brightly at her, and the waiter comes over with menus. This is the fanciest place he's ever been to. ]

[She can leave them to talk it out while she goes out.

She thought across could work but she could see that he would sit next to her, not that it was a bad thing or anything. With the menu she looks over the choices, not sure what to have really. Though she hears him asking if they want wine.]

[ That, or lecture them for behaving like children. Acting more like children than the actual children.

He might not remember every detail and rule about dating. Oops. Wine though ]

...Is it good?

[ He looks to Botan. ]

Have you tried it?

[That was a given, they needed an adult between them at times. She's more than glad to scold them when needed.

He knew far more than her already. She looks questioning at the waiter. He seems to nod to it being good.]

I've never had it?

[Though the shikigami was a little curious.]

[ This is a day of new experiences after all, so they might as well add one new thing to the list. ]

Sure? If you want.

[She doesn't mind trying new things.]

Okay. Two cups of wine please.

[ He grins and looks over the menu. ]

Uh... Fritto Misto? Is that some kind of miso?

[ He likes miso. ]

[Botan nods to the waiter then looks to the menu. She keeps a list of his favorite foods for later.

The waiter looks confused at the question and she chuckles at Hirari.]

I think it might be different?

[ His favourite food is miso soup, simple enough. Just remember he doesn't like fish with a lot of bones. He could use one of those WunderBoners or something. ]

So it's not?

[ Poor waiter. ]
