Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!
Rating/Warning: None so far!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.

And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto

Chicken fights!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

[Komaeda notices the tension, but he just tightens his arms for a moment before he leans into him, still planted with his chin against his shoulder. He nods, and it's probably something Hinata can feel.]

It can be. But even if it is difficult, it's important to, right? [Has to be. They've both gotten good at moving forward despite everything. And it flitters through Komaeda's mind too -- thoughts of Haven, his friends there, the island. And in his most selfish moments, the idea of knowing he's lost in a coma in the world he belongs in, and that even without that, all his time now is really borrowed time.

But today isn't the day for those concerns.]

[Just having someone behind him always puts him into an alert frame of mind-- another leftover from Haven. But that it's Komaeda means that it's fine. Komaeda is safety to him, now. He has been for a while.]

If I can't jump into... and make it past the tough things... then it'll be even harder trying to move forward. So you're right. [Agreement, and he tips his head so the side of his head bumps against Komaeda's.]

There you go saying inspiring things again. [Komaeda's expression softens, and he breathes out a quiet laugh.] It really is annoying sometimes, how I can't help but feel impressed by you saying those things.

[Jeez. Making him feel reassured all the time. How dare Hinata. Komaeda's arms tighten once more before he loosens them.]

But since that's your choice, to jump in, no matter what I always want to be here to help you Hajime-kun. Always.

[Which is why he's going to... shove him straight into the pool now.]

[Hinata ends up grinning to himself at the words. He's oddly okay with annoying Komaeda with his inspiring speeches. Or something. It just means Komaeda's listening enough.

What he doesn't expect is the pressure on his back and all that gets out is a startled:] Eh?! [Before SPLASH in he goes, t-shirt and all, and he emerges after a few moments with a damp splutter, blinking water from his eyes and shaking his head violently, sending water spraying.]

Oi, was this your help, Nagito?!

[INDIGNANT, SUCH BETRAYAL!!!]

[Sorry, Hinata! He's trying to make the other feel better, distract him from the worries and thoughts he knows are on his mind. So Komaeda is still lingering at the edge of the pool, looking down at his currently very soggy boyfriend before nodding, trying not to look like he's grinning as brightly as he is.]

Of course. Now you've jumped in, right?

[Mission accomplished. AND YOU'RE WELCOME.]

I was being figurative!

[But look at him. Grinning. Exulting in his victory it just makes Hinata want to... want to... slosh his way closer, quickly, and move to grab Komaeda by the leg.

GET IN HERE because he is unceremoniously yanking at him to pull him into the pool too.]

Were you? You should probably be clearer about that sort of thing, Hajime-kun. People are going to wind up thinking the wrong thi--aah!

[That would be about when his leg is grabbed and he realizes he should have retreated before he started being pleased with himself. Because he's already tipping forward, flailing, only to land with a rather impressive splash.

Belly flop straight into the pool. When he surfaces though, he'll be laughing, despite himself.]

[Hinata's laughing too when Komaeda resurfaces, stepping back a bit, wet t-shirt hanging heavily off of him. Still, he's grinning, even if his hair is now a clumpy, damp mess thanks to a certain guy.]

Okay, since you're in here with me now, guess I'll forgive you for taking it the wrong way.

[Wahahaha.]

[It's good to hear Hinata laugh, and Komaeda figures that means he's been successful just now -- and success isn't really something he's always used to. So he's glad for it, very glad, and as he lifts a hand to push his waterlogged hair back from his face, his expression softens.]

Then we're even, right? I suppose that's a good outcome.

[Forgiven! Even if sorry not sorry.]

[Hinata steps back further into the water until he can float lightly, grinning at him still, something expectant in his eyes now.]

We're even... but now that we're here...

[He splashes some water his way.]

[Komaeda has decided that he's done with his t-shirt, and he's stripping the wet thing off and tossing it towards the chairs. He'll get it later.

ANd he turns back to Hinata just in time to get a facefull of water.

What a nice boyfriend. Splashing him like that. He splutters and holds up his hands, calling out a sulky,] Hajime-kun!

[Well fine now he's splashing back!]

[Hinata laughs more as Komaeda splutters-- just to get water in his mouth as he's splashed back, his eyes squinting against it and his head shaking again.]

You're a smart guy, you shoulda guessed this would happen.

[But since this is getting Serious he's taking off his own t-shirt, lobbing it to join Komaeda's in a sopping clump.]

[HA. Take that. But Komaeda will make a face at him before dissolving into laughter again.]

Should I have?

[He totally did. This was his plan all along, okay? Anything to hear Hinata laugh, to draw him out of those darker thoughts even just for a little while.] We could call a truce, you know.

We could.

[Hinata makes a face as though he's seriously considering it, watching Komaeda as though he's contemplating walking over and offering his hand in truce now. But no, instead he splashes playfully in his direction instead.]

...But, I think this is more exciting than a truce.

[No! Curse this betrayal! Komaeda retaliates then! Don't think he won't.] Is this your true ruthlessness showing?

[So ruthless. But Komaeda is still laughing, even as he changes tactics and moves to launch himself through the water at Hinata. If he gets close enough he can wrap him up and stop the splashing right. Maybe? Probably he'll just wind up sinking them both.]

[Hinata fends off the splashes with an arm across his face, laughing too because how long's it been since they've got to do something like this? Have they ever gotten to do something like this? Hinata doesn't think so.]

Yep, surprise. It'd be easier on you if you just gave in.

[SPLASH.]

[Maybe never. Their last couple years have been a bit hellish, right? Some of it hell of their own making, but they're trying to make amends for that now, he thinks. In their own ways, even if maybe there's no real making up for all that despair.]

Are you really expecting me to surrender?

[Right now what he's doing though is basically trying to tackle Hinata, because that'll end well and they both totally won't sink straight down.]

[Hinata shrugs one of his shoulders, saying,] I dunno, it'd be the right--

[--thing to choose but nope here he comes. Hinata yelps as Komaeda's weight hits into him and he topples, managing to suck in a breath as he crashes back into the water.]

[The right what? Never give up never surrender. Except yeah now they're both sinking, and Komaeda isn't quite quick enough to take a good breath, so by the time he's surfacing, he may be spluttering and choking just a little.

And also still clinging to Hinata, hopefully he doesn't drown the two of them. That seems like a terrible way for this party to end.

He may be reconsidering surrendering now at least.]

[it's okay, Hinata's gasping for breath too, one hand moving to palm a handful of wet hair out of his eyes, up off of his scarred forehead, his other planted on Komaeda's hip, steadying himself.] Was that-- your winning move or something--

[Faintly accusing gosh.

Not bad as far as finishing moves go, through, he would've lost if Komaeda kept flopped against him while he was underwater... but then he probably would've drowned so.]

It was supposed to be, but I don't think it worked very well.

[At least he can admit his miserable failures. But well, at least he gave it a go. That matters, right? A sheepish laugh and he tries to push his hair out of his face as well.]

But... are you ready to surrender yet, Hajime-kun? [Surrender!! Komaed will be victorious yet.]

[Hinata snorts.] No chance.

[He shakes his head slightly, scattering water droplets from his hair and his face.] You and me both are evenly soaked here. I'm just getting started.

[He leans forward, as though about to dunk him back into the water.]

So stubborn. [Like he isn't equally so. But he lifts an eyebrow at those words. Just getting started.

Well then it is on. And he tenses as Hinata leans, already on the defensive.] In that case I'll have to do my best to fight back!

[...because this is fun, isn't it? Just playing with him.]

[Hinata's huffing a little, furrowing his eyebrows, a gleam of challenge in red eyes. He grips at him and pushes against him, against that tenseness.]

Since you're gonna put up a fight... make it interesting for me, Nagito.

[That's the kind of line you say at times like these, right? Yeah, close enough. So it doesn't mesh perfectly with his character, he's playing, so it doesn't matter at all.]

[That gleam is exciting. Komeada likes it. All right if it's a challenge, he'll definitely give it his all. Even as he feels that grip, that push, and he stands his ground as best he can.

But he blinks at that, eyebrows lifting.]

What sort of interesting were you hoping for, Hajime? [Because he can provide interesting in several ways. He leans in closer now, deliberately into Hinata's personal space, arm slipping around his shoulders.]
