[ Athena's managed to convince the manager of the Little Sister Cafe to cater at ther CERES gardens, so there are tables, a spread of food, and at the center of all the tables is a small platform-like stage with a microphone. A part of the gardens now looks like this. With less balloons, of course.

Once there's enough people, Athena Cykes steps up. She has crutches, and she rests those crutches by the side of the platform as she speaks. ]

I'm sure we were all expecting a safe tour, but most of us - if not all - ended up being in danger. But, despite all this, we learned a lot of things. If we can all get up here one by one, in an orderly manner, and speak of what we've learned, we would be able to help one another survive in Cerealia better.

I don't think we need to keep this a secret anymore; Mr. Mosley and the rest of CERES have their eyes on us at all times. But still, we shouldn't try to withhold information from one another. Information is key to be able to survive in this place. Whatever you know? Please tell us.

The food is also from the cosplay cafe. Please come visit if you enjoy them. Thank you.

[ With a bow of her head, she steps down and heads to her table. Anyone is free to take the stand now and speak. ]

[ she looks at shinpachi curiously. nobody's ever said it that way before, but it hits athena that he's probably right. it might be better not to believe in anybody until they find proof on their own. ]

Heh. She sure is energetic, huh? At least that's making him feel a little better about all this. Sure, places like these are the worst, but the people in it have never been too bad.

And Shinpachi would be the last person to shut down people's enthusiasm unless it's absolutely necessary, so a grin slowly spreads on his face as well as he flashes her the same sign. ]

No problem. If you ever need help with finding out something, just call me, yeah? [ Since he figures it's handier to have someone there who can actually knock a few heads together-- she's just a teenage girl, after all (or seems like it to him), who knows what kind of trouble she could get into. ]

[ teenage girl is right, and at least shinpachi thinks of her as one and not as a kid (which is close... enough...), else athena would get upset if she found out.

but this conversation's done good to her spirit, and she feels rejuvenated for some reason. her doubts haven't been cleared a hundred percent, whatever fog's been hindering her from seeing clearly at least been taken care of. ]

I can definitely do that! [ she nods. she already got katsura's help when she broke into a ceres employee's home to get some information the other day... maybe shinpachi can do her some good if he has any special talents. ]

I met a friend while I was fighting aliens a few weeks ago. [ now THAT'S one hell of an introduction.]

Is meeting in battle s'posed to be that bad of a thing?

[ Yes, Shinpachi, because battle shouldn't have to be a normal circumstance for other people.. but he has his priorities and stuff he likes to do, okay. Swordfighting is a joy for him, so meeting people then sounds perfect to him. ]

It's not bad bad... but he almost got hit because he was in the way!

Ahh, if you can't deal with being hit at least once, you're not a real man!

[ .. he's a good guy, really, he's just a little.. rowdy. To put it in a diplomatic sort of way. ]

[ she laughs, just remembering the comment about how leon kuwata may not be a real man. ]

That's actually a good one! I'll tell him that next time he yells at me to not do any judo moves while he's around.

[ Oh, she's spunky.. a common trend among modern girls from what he's seen, but Shinpachi finds it oddly amusing and adorable in its own way. Which is why he's totally not going to stop her here and instead just flash an encouraging grin. ]
