Just a fool in love

Where: Hirari & Botan's apartment and then where ever they go.
What: Hirari wants to take Botan out on a date.

[Botan had began to fall into her own sort of daily tasks in this world. She worked every now and then, when she was needed, then she would come home and look after things around the house. Hirari was always in and out but for the most part he stayed close to her, something she didn't mind at all. Besides that she would visit the Kumou family and occasionally invite Kagemitsu and Poko over. Beyond the weird happens every now and then life here was pretty easy going, different in some ways from home of course but nothing bad either.

Having a free day she focuses on doing a little of her laundry as she waits for Hirari to come home. Looking to the clock she moves somethings into the washing machine before she turns it on. It was a rather helpful device. With that done she moves into the living room and sits down to have tea when she hears the door click.]

[Botan has watched a little tv, though it's still fascinating to see people moving in a box. Then again she shouldn't judge too much based on what she can do herself or what they faced back home. That aside she can assume Hirari has had a lot more time to watch and read things in preparation for this.]

A movie? I have heard about those, I believe. That sounds like a good thing to do together.

[His excitement is adorable but also gets her to blush a little.]

We can eat before perhaps?

[ He nods. Any idea for a date that comes out of Botan's mouth is a good idea. It means that they get to spend even more time together, and just. Be together without having to worry about the orochi anymore. ]

Okay.

[ He doesn't know that these are also called cliche, but then again, he isn't exactly familiar with that word. ]

Something called Italian food is supposed to be great.

[The orochi was still on her mind but here she didn't sense anything to do with it...so they were okay right? Though it still left her curious as to why she was still around...so many unanswered questions. Regardless right now she was with Hirari.]

Good.

[Botan knew little about dating for humans or anyone for that matter so this was all good to her and new.]

Italian food? Then we can try that.

[In a moment of bravery she turns to kiss him on the lips once more. She was overjoyed with them being together but words seemed to lack the same as actions at times.]

[ In his current life, Hirari doesn't have to worry anymore about the Orochi. Instead, he has to worry about finding a way to get Botan back and see her again. From what he's heard, he doesn't make it, but there is no way he's going to give up, because maybe he'll change the future just enough for it to happen. Not that he knows if he'll even survive the fight he was pulled out of, but he's going to give everything he's got.

When she kisses him, he blushes bright red. He's usually the one who instigates things, so her kissing him gives him even bigger butterflies in his stomach than when it's the other way around. He hugs her, bright smile on his lips as he kisses her back. ]

I love you Botan. I love you so so much.

[To change the future could have many repercussions and despite her wanting to stay with Hirari...she doesn't know if she could handle seeing him die as she remained the same. Human lives were fragile after all. Even still she wants to be with Hirari as long as possible here.

His blush is enough to get her to chuckle before she feels him kissing back and she moves her arms up to hug his neck. Kissing was enjoyable and she was getting used to the flutters it causes in her stomach.]

I love you too, Hirari-dono.

[Smiling she puts her face into his chest and just breaths him in.]

Forgive me...if I am unsure what to do at times. [She meant that towards the dating thing...she might be asking people about these matters later.]

[ This place was a blessing, even with all the bad things that came with it. It was giving them time together, time that they won't have for at least 600 years, and even then, though he doesn't know it, she's going to disappear again. So this is the time where they have to take every chance to do all the things they haven't been able to in their own world and times, and damn it if he wouldn't shower her with love the whole time. ]

That's okay. I haven't really done this before either.

[ It had been a dream of his; a date with Botan. Several dates with her. By the time they've been to the movies he's going to love going there and sharing popcorn with her. And he had never had any desire to go on dates with anyone other than Botan. Especially not other women. ]

[The knowledge to her vanishing again even after the orochi is gone is unknown to Botan. For now she would treasure their time since it doesn't seem like they will be leaving anytime soon. Hirari was here and they could be together now. Even his honesty gets her to chuckle.]

Then we will be learning together.

[Doing things as a couple was new and exciting ground for her, even if she was nervous to a degree.]

Then should we get ready?

[ He nods, wide smile on his face. There is nothing that he wants more than to spend as much time with the love of his life (or lives) as possible. Every moment with her is worth more than any money could by to him. ]

Yeah. I know where it is.

[ He passes by this so called Italian restaurant to and from work every day. He doesn't know that Italy is a country, but he's heard good things about the food and so he wants to experience it with Botan. He pulls back, just enough to open the door for her. He's going to take her hand as soon as it's closed and locked behind them. ]

[That smile makes her cheeks brighten as she moves looks to his chest. Hirari has always had a spell over her and she doubts it will ever be broken. Good thing her kimono was acceptable for outside use today. She did try her best to keep herself looking okay at least.]

I'll trust you to take us there.

[With him leading the way Botan moves her hand out so he can take it when he's ready. She wants to walk together with him and she is a little curious about the food he wants to try.]

[ Holding hands while going on a date is something he has been waiting for. And when his hand is free he takes hers, loving the feel of such simple and innocent contact. Now, while they're walking, they just have to figure out what kind of movie they want to watch afterward. ]

What do you want to watch? I've heard there's a lot of different types of them. Happy ones, scary ones, crazy ones...

[ Anything she chooses will be perfect, honestly, and he has no idea what they're in for. ]

[They have held hands in the past but she always seem to blush when it happens. For Hirari contact was something he fed off of and needed but also had little shame in. For Botan it was sometimes embarrassing but with him it was less so. Fingers lacing with his she squeezes his hand softly.]

Hm? Oh, maybe happy? I'm not sure what a scary one would be about even?

[Why would someone want to be scared?]

Me neither. There's plenty of things in real life that's scary, right?

[ Like Kagemitsu's face when he sees them kissing. He never seems to be happy about that and always wants to break them up. Even when he's in Hirari and Botan's apartment. Rude brat. ]

Happy sounds great.

[ They're going to end up watching Happy Feet if this goes on. ]

Yes, that is very true...I can see why someone would want to watch more scary things.

[Now Kagemitsu was watching out for her...she will have to have chat with him if they're relationship goes further. When she catches herself thing that she shakes her head. There was no reason to think of more...they were together and she wouldn't push that.]

Then we will go with that.

[The idea of dancing penguins...is strange.]

[ Sure, it's great to know that Kagemitsu is watching out for her, but does he really have to be such a little boy about it? The only thing missing his him yelling "cooties", if they knew what cooties were. There's no way that guy is the same age as Hirari. ]

Great. I've never seen one, what do you think it's like?

[ It's like a TV, right? Not that he's watched much of that either, but at least he's seen one. ]

[Hirari you are one to talk...she feels like when they are together she is like a babysitter at times. That would explain why she was quick to scold the two of them if they got too rowdy.]

I'm not sure? Maybe like the box inside the house...only bigger?

[Botan has watched a few shows but not much...most were interesting to see at least.]

[ At least Hirari isn't one to go "gross" over kisses. But the two men together sure made for childish situations. ]

I wonder how big they can make it.

[ They have no idea it's not a screen like on the TV, but let them try to figure it out. ]

It hasn't been invented in the time you're at either, has it? It's so strange seeing people inside a box like that.

[Well it would be bad if he did since he was the one giving them.]

...That is a good question? The box is weird isn't it?

[They will have quite an adventure with it...]

Mine? Oh no! ...they are new to me...in my time Japan is moving forward and people from the west arrived and the country is changing.

It is. I haven't figured out how they get people and things in there yet.

[ Because that's not the kind of books he's been reading. ]

I wish I could see that happen, together with you.

It is something interesting to think about? I feel like maybe the way they do with the devices?

[Botan is curious about it but she knows Hirari has a wide array of books...some are weird as far as the cover.]

Hirari-dono... [She blushes before she grips his hand tighter.]

I would like that.

Yeah. But I don't how they do it with the devices either.

[ He does have a lot of different books. Books on magic, books about science, alchemy and japanese history and religion. Anything that might link back to what he's searching for. There sure are plenty of odd books to pick from.

He smiles warmly at her. ]

One day we'll be together in our own world, I promise.

Me neither...they are very impressive though.

[She just smiles in return. They were strange devices. Though his book were quite different yet the same. Botan was just glad she could be with him again right now. The man that was able to capture her heart.]

I'm sure... [Her voice then goes a degree softer.] I love you.

Yeah, they sure are.

[ To think what people can invent in the future. ]

I love you too. [ He gives her a sweet kiss on the cheek. ] I love you a lot.

I'm thankful you know how to work some of the things here...I might have been more confused without you.

[Not to mention lonelier. Kagemitsu was there and she knew she could depend on him for anything but that was a sibling like love.

His kiss to her cheek causes her to blush before jabbing his side softly.]

Hirari-dono. [She was still growing accustom to things like public displays of affection.]

What is the name of this restaurant?

Good thing I came here to prepare myself for you joining me then.

[ What? It couldn't be that embarrassing, could it?

If Kagemitsu was like a brother to Botan, that makes sense. Younger brothers are extremely annoying. ]

Something like... Surmo? Ma? Something like that.

It is a good thing, though I'm sorry if you were here alone at any point.

[She didn't want him or Kagemitsu to be alone...not anyone that she care for. This place was really overwhelming at times.

They could be but she loves him all the same.]

Oh, then I will trust you to take us there. The food should be interesting.
