Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.




And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

Water slides!

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto with hot tubs for secret rendezvous...

Lazy river!

Deliciously fruity cocktails from the swim-up bar that are known to be deceptively alcoholic...

Some local jerk has even brought food for people to eat, or you can eat at the snack bar!

Sunbathing!

Chicken fights!

And of course, swimming with friends!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

[Holy shit this place is a lot bigger than he was expecting and there are a lot more people than he was expecting as well. And apparently two of their classmates are gone too. But he's not going to let any of those things get to him, nope. He came here to have fun with his friends and kick Nonon's ass at chicken, and that's exactly what he intends to do.]

[He's wearing a pair of black, knee-length swimtrunks with white dragon motifs up the sides as well as a black t-shirt which he'll even wear into the water. Because apparently there's nothing in this world that can make him take that off, for some god unknown reason. Since he's not wearing long sleeves for once, you can finally see a number of scars all over his right forearm, which appear to have been made by seemingly random jabs and cuts from some kind of blade.]

a. Poolside
[Kuzuryuu really doesn't do well in the cold, which probably isn't all that hard to guess given how small the boy is. Not a whole lot of natural insulation. So he's definitely enjoying the higher temperatures in here, spending a great deal of time just lounging in one of the lounge chairs and enjoying the heat lamp.]

b. Pool
[Eventually though, he will wander over to the pool itself, though he's definitely not the type to jump right in. He seems content enough just to dip his feet in. When he does finally get all the way in the water (still wearing his t-shirt, mind you), he sticks to the shallow end, not actually swimming so much as he's just...walking around or leaning against the edge of the pool. He's definitely avoiding going any deeper than his feet will touch.]

c. Grotto
[Hot springs? No, not quite, but it's warm and secluded so he'll take it. He's just sitting in one of the hot tubs, arms spread out behind him on the tub's edge and leaning his head back. One almost might think he's asleep, given how his eyes are closed and how relaxed he is for once. Feel free to join him, there's still plenty of room in the tub.]

d. Wildcard
[None of the above prompts doing it for you? Feel free to make up your own. He'll be avoiding most of the attractions, but maybe you can talk him into having fun like a normal person.]

[If you're up for a round of chicken, his partner is Gundam and they can easily be talked into a challenge. So we can get a four-way thread going for that if you'd like.]

[By now he'd heard of this "secret grotto", taking a chance to investigate. Nothing else was really said about it, just suggestions passed between couples and friends about spending some time there relaxing and relaxing is a really great activity.

Oh but hey! Fancy catching you here, Kuzuryuu. He wanted to talk to you about earlier but oh...are you sleeping? Oh man wait are these hot tubs...?

He doesn't slide in just yet, instead sitting on the side and dipping his feet in.]

[Kuzuryuu doesn't so much as crack an eye open, but it becomes obvious fairly quickly that he's not actually asleep.]

Eh...don't worry about it.

[That's a funny way to strangle someone with a scarf....sitting in the exact same spot and not moving. Maybe it's some weird yakuza technique.]

I cannot simply overlook the mistake. It was my fault that we lost and I assured you it would not be. Allow me to apologize or deny the apology outright.

[Wow that's a long, slightly awkward pause. And he's still not moving either.]

No...it plainly was. There's no excuse for letting go like that.

[Like yeah sure you accidentally got him in the chest but jeez it wasn't that bad, obviously...he's still standing! So...]

[Kuzuryuu finally opens his eye and lifts his head up, fixing Gundam with a very serious look.]

I kicked you on purpose.

[Peko's voice is a little quiet behind him, announcing her presence before she even starts to get in the water herself. She's still in her bikini, still wearing her sword bag, but at least she's holding a drink in each hand, instead of just one for him. Prog...ress...

Really she's just checking up on him, because she would have had to have been deaf not to hear what happened in his particular game of chicken. Is he staying properly hydrated? Is he covered in bruises? She just didn't want to bother him too soon after it happened just in case it would offend him, since he didn't look actually injured at the time.]

[Oh he definitely has some bruises. He's not covered in them, but it would have been impossible to walk away from getting LITERALLY beat by a person without something to show for it. Luckily he still has that dumb shirt on to cover most of them. Though there are a few on his forearms as well, in addition to all those nasty scars on his right arm.]

Thanks. [He reaches out to take the cup and takes a few sips. No, he really hasn't been staying as hydrated as he probably should be. Unless you count the mouthful of poolwater he drank in the aftermath of the Great Chicken Debacle.] Still enjoying yourself?

Satisfied that he's reasonably happy with his drink, Peko shrugs her sword off to join him in the pool, resting the weapon within easy reach behind her. A careful moment as she takes a sip of her own juice and considers his question (probably giving it more thought than it really deserves), before answering,]

I am, yes... something like this is somewhat tiring, but I have been enjoying myself so far.

[He didn't think so. It was really gross and not refreshing at all. 8(]

The fact that it's warm in here is enough for me to enjoy it, regardless of what happens. But it's been fun, yeah. Way more people than I was hoping there would be though...

[If he was not Kuzuryuu, she might remark that instead of lounging under the heat lamps, if he'd deigned to move much more than his chicken fight, he might have been warmer. But it's Kuzuryuu, so she just hums a quiet agreement that yes, it is nice and warm here, relaxing muscles that were starting to become sore after all the laps she did earlier.]

That seems to be the way parties are, in this city, [she observes quietly. After all, the sleepover was massive. At least this pool is much larger than a single apartment.]

Matoi is much more intense of a fighter than I had given her credit for.

[All Peko knows about Ryuko is that Ryuko seems to enjoy teasing her?? She wasn't expecting her to start wielding Nonon as a weapon. What the actual heck.]

[Um he went swimming??? Scuze u, that's moving. And that definitely didn't warm him up because it's water and the whole point of going in the pool is to cool down.]

Well the only one I've been to was the ball and everyone was invited to that. Did the same thing happen at that sleepover of yours a while back?

[SINCE YOU CALLED HINATA INSTEAD OF HIM. No, he wouldn't even be surprised to learn that tbh. He would have called Hinata before Peko as well if he'd been in that situation.]

That is precisely what happened, yes... except it was in a single apartment instead of spread out over a water park.

[IT WAS TERRIBLE even though Peko did have fun. After she learned to relax a little more. It was a valuable lesson, to be sure.

She hums quietly in acknowledgement, a frown of mild concern curving her lips as she nods once.]

I did. Had it escalated further, I would have been forced to step in, but...

[That hadn't turned out to be necessary.]

[ With a popsicle in her mouth, hair tied up in a messy wet bun, Nonon plops down uninvited into the chair besides Fuyuhiko, stretching her long-ish legs out and crossing them. She looks happy, maybe too happy, but she doesn't look at the boy, even when she starts talking to him. ]

I told you there was no way you could beat me and Matoi. But you made her go all out, so that was pretty impressive.

[Well that makes two of them who aren't looking at the other. Though in Kuzuryuu's case, that's because his eye is closed. Trying to enjoy the heat lamp here, you pest!!!]

Mmhmm, you sure did. [He seems even less bothered by his loss now than he did when it was fresh, if his tone is any indication. She can gloat all she wants, he's going try and deny her as much satisfaction as he possibly can by not letting it bother him! Besides, he lost on purpose anyway. He really can't really even be mad.] Though if I were you, next time I'd consider picking a less insane partner.

Her eyes narrow at the advice though... for some reason. ] ...Matoi may be insane sometimes, but I trust her more than anyone else here. [ A pause. ] So only I can call her a dumbass neanderthal, you got me?

[ She's actually not going to stop him though. That question makes her raise her brow. ]

Yea, that's her. She's my best friend's sister, though Matoi didn't always know they were related. [ Nonon keeps calling her Satsuki's sister, still apparently having difficulty in just saying Ryuko is her friend. ]

I think I can see now why you weren't thrilled about it. She's kind of a brute, isn't she? I'm surprised someone as sophisticated as you can even stand talking to her. [There's a certain tone of facetiousness to the word "sophisticated". What a jerk.] This best friend of yours is that Kiriyuin girl right? So should I be expecting the same out of her if she ever shows up?

[ Urk. Kuzuryuu. She is so not confiding in you that she's attracted to Ryuko!! Nope, not doing it!! But... it's so difficult to hold back, because he's right. How can she stand Ryuko? Except oh look there she is, chasing Rock Lee down for some reason or another, and Nonon completely forgets what they were talking about, watching Ryuko. ]

[ She tries to remember what he asked... ]

Satsuki-sama? [ Right. ]

Satsuki-sama is mature, and elegant and the strongest person in the entire world. She can silence the entire school simply with the click of her heel. [ So yeah, nothing like Ryuko. ]
