[Tugging at Adolf's clothes, he points up to a little device that is attached to the ceiling.]

I didn't know there was anyone to around hear it to begin with. [he's grumbling now. it doesn't seem that worth the effort to get worked up when she's been kind of rude about everything to begin with. even if it was significantly better before he copped an attitude, but really... can she blame him? this situation sure is a thing that could make nearly anyone angry.

[Illidan gestured for Terra to go by the door the doctor had come from, to make certain he couldn't simply flee back out of it. Of course once they were too far apart he knew the boy would shed the concealment spell, so before it does, he drops the spell of his own volition and charges at the madman.

Calling forth bright green flame to his hand he strikes the doctor's gut. It was not a lethal blow, but the flames fed not on matter as regular flames, these latched on to ones very life. The force from the blow send the doctor to Terra's direction. While Illidan could have easily killed him in one hit, he wanted to see more of the curious boy's power, if he would use it. If not, the fel fire should finish the doctor off shortly.

Boy! Finish it!

[ She doesn't really deal with this much in her daily life, so it's not her problem. Inaba knows full well she isn't suitable for combat, especially facing the enemy in a war. ]

[Terra waits by the door, curious to see Illidan's power. That quickly changes to horror as he watches Illidan throw out green fire, striking the doctor in his direction. He can tell just from a glance that the green fire is similar to his own darkness, sapping and devouring anything it touches.

Instead of striking the killing blow, Terra lowers his Keyblade and backs away, staring from the dying man to Illidan.]

I won't! We only needed to stop him.

[He doesn't care now whether Illidan calls him unreliable. This was too far, especially for someone who couldn't even fight back.]

[obviously, the retort isn't geared towards naoki specifically, but the sentiment rings true. this sounds like it's just going to be nothing short of a mess that he wants nothing to do with.]

[Illidan growls and pulls his make shift bandanna off, revealing the gruesome remains if his blackened burnt out sockets, but the sight is soon obscured by the flames that had replaced his eyes, as they grew bright. In a flash energy shot from them, reducing the doctor to nothing but a scorched mark on the ground.

Once the threat was eliminated he he replaced the bandanna over his eyes and turned to Terra, not pleased with his naivete]

Are you such a fool to believe that would stop him? He is an apparition, he shall return shorty.

He'd be lying if he would say that his own beat isn't beating a million miles an hour in his chest, but what else is he supposed to do? If there's really something behind that door..

He grabs an umbrella from the umbrella stand in the hallway just in case - not the best weapon, but it's not like they have anything else better readily available. What is he supposed to do, go at it with a monster with a kitchen knife?

Practically holding his breath, he opens the door...

Even peeking his head out onto the hallway of the apartment complex, there's nothing there at all. Not even anything out of the ordinary - just a quiet hallway.

So he closes the door again, putting away the umbrella and sighing as he drags his feet back to the bedroom, climbing back into the bed next to the other. ]

What if we don't have a place to go back to at all? [which can be taken broadly, and roxas knows it. but for him, it's the specific knowing that he doesn't even have a world of his own to go back to, even if he has worlds he knows and places he can probably take refuge in, just as he did before.]
