[ Athena had a shift today at the cosplay cafe, and she was really excited about it! It was always fun being there, since she gets to meet a lot of people. Free food was also involved sometimes, and that was the best part.

…

But today was a bust.

She was even excited to talk to customers with a pirate accent, since that was what she was cosplaying as today. A pirate! You just can't have it all.

Instead of just waiting inside for people to come in, she goes out into the street just by the cafe. She wasn't finishing her work today without showing off her cute costume. Holding out her fake sword and pointing it at any person who passes by, she exclaims: ]

It's into the cafe or Davy Jones' Locker, ye knave!

Of course, anyone who works at the cosplay cafe is also free to stop her from possibly embarrassing herself and the establishment. ]

[ It wasn't even that late! It was just an hour or so before sundown, but a police officer robot thing approaches Athena and tells her to go home. She's not even sure why she's being told to do so, when she's not even a minor. Was it because she was little? Whatever the reason, she felt very insulted by this. ]

I'm on my way to buy some food!

[ But the officer seemed very insistent that she should go home before sundown since it wasn't safe. "Look, kid. You better head home before dark, or else you could get in trouble." ]

I'm not a kid!

[ And if it wasn't her stating that she wants to buy food that could catch someone's attention, it's her yelling that she's not a kid, because she can be loud. Now is one of those times.

Again, the officer continues to believe in its own opinion that Athena is much younger than she truly is, and decides to walk her home that very instant, grabbing her by the wrist. But Athena doesn't take kindly to people giving her unwanted physical contact. She quickly grabs the officer's wrist then moves to turn, her back facing the cop, then she crouches as she pulls its arm to throw him to the ground.

… But she may have thrown her a bit too far. The officer probably hits an innocent passer-by or the space very close to said passer-by.

Athena, you're having too much fun with this. [He's just observing things! Shirou's slowly shaking his head in response.]

Acting like a pirate all day must be exhausting. Try not to over do it.

[ Yang, needless to say, had only been heading back to the apartment with no mischief whatsoever on her mind (for once), except maybe challenging her apartmentmates to a card game of some sort.

And thus she hadn't been expecting an officer bot to come flying in her direction. Luckily for at least one of them, her reflexes are quick enough for her to sidestep just in time, but-- ]

... Oops, was I supposed to catch it?

[WELL THAT'S A SURPRISE. Kaoru looks a little startled, glancing around like there may be some other people walking past that Athena is actually addressing... BUT NOPE, no such luck. Still, with some amount of hesitation:]

Ah... Wait, are you talking to me?

[ATHENA WHY. What does that mean?? WHAT IS DAVY JONES' LOCKER.]

[ She was going to grab a cold soda on her way home from school anyway, hopefully for a mates discount, but... she wasn't expecting the theatrics. ]

Wow. Really gettin' in the spirit there, aren't ya?

[Archer is kind of just walking by, carrying multiple bags of groceries. If it was any normal person, they wouldn't hear it but this is Athena.

Yeah, he lets out a very light snort when he sees Athena but goes on pretending that he never actually, you know, saw her.]

[ Ogre Magi is a large blue humanoid thing with two heads and a barrel-shaped body that's equal parts fat and muscle. They sure don't have the reflexes to dodge or sidestep a robot soaring through the air. But hey, on the bright side, one thrown robot doesn't do much- the impact doesn't even knock 'em over, and the robot just sort of bounces off to collapse in a heap. ]

[ ... ALSO on the bright side is the fact that they're not all that quick on the uptake. Both heads look around wildly, and in abject confusion. ]

... hey! When did these things learn how to fly!? That's not fair! We can't hardly fly, either-

[ And THEN they spot Athena. ]

Hey, you! Did you see what happened? Did that flyin' robot attack you, too??

::So get this: there he was, walking down the street, minding his own business, maybe playing a little Angry Birds and not paying attention at all to his surroundings (which he should have known better than to do), planning on stopping by a grocery store to get dinner after a long shift at the weapons shop. Fairly uneventful day involving absolutely nothing that would warrant being assaulted. Just... trying to keep his head down after making a complete idiot of himself the first few days he was here.

When, out of nowhere...

WHOMP!

Robocop. To the entire body.

That is gonna leave a bruise.::

B and fashionably late

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth is on his way home and considering stopping by the shops to pick up stuff when he spies the robot cop flying straight toward him, toward his left. He scrambles aside with a very undignified yelp.]

Ack!

[He covers his face and head as the robot crashes, and then when it's safe to look up, he instinctively spreads his feet in a ready battle stance, one hand to the hilt of the sword at his waist and the other hand in a defensive position, blocking his chest.]

Who...what...? [Better make yourself known, Athena, before Edgeworth accuses the nearest person in sight of property damage.]
