Opening Night [OPEN]
Who: Nonon Jakuzure and anyone who's interested in classical music, saw her post, or was invited by her. Feel free to tag around too and meet other people in their beautiful formal wear~!
When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.
It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.
Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.
After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.
"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"
She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.
Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.
By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.
[ ooc: Feel free to run into her whenever! And the date is kinda nebulous, just assume after the latest event. If you have any questions PM me or hit me up on plurk at

[Rock Lee managed to show up in formal wear. This time not as Edgeworthy, but a green suit with a black necktie nontheless, and also toting a bulky bacpack. He watches eagerly in the crowd. Most of this music is new to him, so he is on the edge of his seat the whole time, and he is very excited. The kiss does confuse him and catch him off-guard - isn't Nonon supposed to be with Ryuko? But then he lets the last song divert his mind from that confusion.]
Ah... But, I thought that she and Ryuko-san...
[Feel free to handwave your character sitting near him or walking past him with refreshmets, whatever!]
B. Crescendo [For Nonon]
[The time finally comes for the end. He rises to his feet with a standing ovation - and a teary one! And... then he releases the flowers.
He filled his backpack up with many bouquets of flowers, and so he then keeps throwing them towards her on the stage with the strength, speed and accuracy expected of a ninja. He hopes that this is exactly what she wants!]
BRAVO! BRAVO! YOOOUUUTH!!!
C. Aftermath [Open]
[Feel free to find him afterwards, running around the area to personally thank each individual musician and present them with a flower. He may accidentally run right into others as he darts back and forth, however.]

She manages to dodge them pretty well, she's more than apt at fighting and come on, flowers aren't very aerodynamic. Still, she can't help but call him out. ]

choose your own gay adventure (ota)
[ obviously, nui wasn't about to let this concert go on without showing up uninvited. even if nonon's music made her want to hurl, this was just too good of an opportunity to make some mischief. as she plans her assault, she'll be sitting on the ledge of one of the opera boxes with a pair of fancy opera binoculars. and her parasol.
her legs dangle over the edge of the box like she doesn't have a care in the world. she certainly looks out of place... but that's for you to decide. ]
b.
[ and also obviously, nui stirs up shit in the best way she knows how. once she's made her appearance on stage and kisses nonon deeply, she giggles (sounding awfully close to a cute cackle) as she mary poppins floats off stage with her frilly pink parasol. was that part of the show? probably not, seeing how nonon reacted.
she'll be waiting outside of the opera house once it lets out, sitting prettily on a high steel beam and watching as the crowd leaves. yes, she'll be signing autographs. ]
b-ish
So when she heads out at the end of the night, seeing Nui sitting there, she is already growling, taking a defensive sort of position, reaching behind her back for her knife... but not pulling it out just yet. ]

open for mingling
This was just nostalgia talking, which gave way to surprise when Mitsuru realised that as she picked up her ticket, the seat that Nonon gave her was a box with a great view of the stage. And complimentary wine. Nonon really knew how to treat a girl.
The performance, was of course breathtaking. It was everything she expected it to be and more, which is why at the end of the performance, she was amongst those giving a standing ovation. When the last of her emotions finally settles, Mitsuru elegantly walks to the front of the stage to mingle with everyone. That was a beautiful performance and she was keen to see who had turned up, but also see where Nonon had gone to to thank her properly. ]
no subject
Still, she couldn't help but notice the bright red hair giving her a proper standing ovation. It only made Nonon's smile brighter on stage, trying to forget Nui's little interruption.
With the performance truly over, and people filed out of the theater except for those mulling around the stage to speak to the musicians and conductor, Nonon happily hops down to the floor to meet up with Mitsuru, giving her a grin, short as she is, up at the other girl. ]
So, what did you think?
no subject
Lee immediately manages to stop in his tracks and, stunned by how pretty she looks, he simply speechlessly reaches into his backpack and holds out a rose to her.]
no subject
[ is the first thing Patchouli says once the show is over and she makes her way up to the stage. She changed out of her pajamas for once, although she's still got the charm clipped to her hair as per usual. ]
no subject
[ Nonon is grinning, partially because she convinced Patchouli to leave her library, assuming it must be a difficult thing to do, partially because she just rocked the house (so to speak) and partially because... well fine, Patchouli manages to look good in that dress too. ]
I'm impressed a little that you seem to know classical music. Do you have a lot of music books in that library of your's, Miss Stuffy Librarian?

Throughout the performance, there's a small smile on her face, and it's obvious she's enjoying the music. It's nice to hear something familiar in a different world.
She's very intrigued by what happened near the end of the show, but the final piece manages to push that out of her mind for the time being and so she gives a standing ovation at the end.
Once the audience begins to clear out, Kyouko approaches the stage where others are mingling so she can thank Nonon for the invite. ]
no subject
By the end, she's hoping EVERYONE forgets about that kiss. She sees Kyouko and thanks someone for his congratulations, and moves through a few people to stand with her hands on her hips to intercept the other girl. ]
So, tell me what you thought. Feel free to use any sort of flowery language describe just how moved you were.

[Now everyone's dressed super formal and fancy for this event, but Hiro was always the type to defy the rules on a simple whim or just because it was funny. And besides, he didn't have enough credits on him to grab super formal clothing yet. And he simply sneaked in because it was more thrilling that way. But it wasn't going to stop him from enjoying himself. So amongst the crowd would be a simple boy in his school uniform along with a bunny hood coat which could've passed as formal enough in some eyes.]
Maaaan... ♪ That chick's really amazing. Beethoven, Mozart, Bach... She played a ton of the classics! [There's a pause as he leans over to whoever's sitting next to him.]
Did you record that kiss at the end? I wanna see that part again.
(B)Breve -
[With the stage starting to clear up and people were happily mingling, Hiro decided that it was time to explore around a little bit. Of course his searching around makes him stop at the piano that was sitting by its lonesome. He couldn't help and walk over to examine the instrument.]
Ah, this piano is calling me. I wonder what kind of music you can create? Don't be shy now...
[Yup. He's totally talking to the piano like it's a person. He's tempted to play for the sake of getting reacquainted with his magic fingers again. And if he brings in an audience? Well, he wouldn't be against that. So with that, he'll just flop down in the seat and starts to play eagerly. Thanking people would come later on... Music time was going to come now!]
no subject
[ Nonon had watched out of the corner of her eye someone approaching the piano that she didn't know, but wasn't much concerned about it. Not until she started hearing Tchaikovsky, and well played Tchaikovsky at that.
She quickly excused herself to make her way to the piano, leaning against it to watch the boy, she assumes he's a boy, even though she herself barely reaches 5 feet and is 18.
There's little else to say for the moment, as she closes her eyes and listens, letting him play as long as he wishes. ]

[Scuttlebutt was in attendance, as promised. True to her word, she had arrived in a formal black dress... which of course, didn't stand out at all when her head and top-torso was hidden under yet another cardboard box.
But it was a particularly clean cardboard box, at least]
B. During the performance. [for Nonon and Nui]
[Scuttlebutt was no fool. She had been ready with a camera to use at specific points in the performance to achieve the best possible shot. Even if the volume was getting to her, she had to wait patiently for them to come.
--But then, what was this? An appearance of the pink-girl, aka Nui Harime??
The top of her box opened and the camera came out as she strode across the floor like nothing was happening, and soon there's be a flash of light and mechanical whine of a shot being taken, possibly lost amongst the musical fanfare]
[Now THAT'S a scoop!]
C. Aftermath [OTA]
[No flowers! But lots of photos and some light attempts at interviewing.]
"Myriam Scuttlebutt, reporter with the Cerealia Times! How did you feel about tonight's performance?"
[She may have been heard to say to members of the orchestra, Nonon herself, or random audience members!]
B
But she could have never guessed she'd suddenly find her lips against the other girl's, her first kiss taken away by that monster in front of a giant crowd. She just didn't have time for kissing growing up! She was too focused on making Satsuki's plans come to fruition!
When the kiss is over, and Nui floating away, she embarrassedly tries to continue the show, a nice blanket of red over her fair. ...It's a good thing she is focusing now on the orchestra, leading them into another Mozart piece, that she doesn't seen the flash of the camera that had taken her picture. ]

Something strange does happen - Nui's appearance, but he is an audience member and it wouldn't be respectful to intervene. Plus, Nonon doesn't seem to be in any mortal danger, so that can wait... until the end of the performance, that is.

[He's quiet for the duration of the show, just listening and watching and possibly(?) enjoying himself. It's kind of hard to tell. Though judging by the slight grimace on his face when Nui takes the stage, that part he could have lived without. He came here to listen to music, not watch teenage girls make out. Though it's not enough to stop him from joining in the standing ovation...after a slight delay, of course.]
[Surprisingly, he doesn't immediately leave once the show is over. Instead, he lingers for a while, possibly looking for faces he recognizes or maybe he just doesn't feel like going home yet. Aside from Nui's appearance, she's been fairly uninterested in the events of the evening, and is only here as a favour to Nonon. She's not wearing Senketsu either, but he's neatly folded in a large handbag.
